πŸ‘πŸ‘ Nice trail with one end goes towards Hindu center and beyond that side total length is about 1.75 miles one way. And other side it goes and and merge with McAlpine creek trail. I would say It’s one of the beautiful trails of Charlotte. People often mention trail, walk, Creek, Greenway, nice, trails, bike, Great,

Small parking area gives you access to hike on Campbell Creek Greenway in both directions. Walking towards McAlpine Creek Greenway I met a little copperhead snake laying across the road. One should pay attention walking there not to get in trouble with venomous snake. A walk to the opposite direction which is about 2 miles offers you a nice view of trees and Creek along the way. However the trail a bit noisier than McAlpine Creek Greenway, and you have to cross a road with fast moving cars to get there from the trailhead parking area.

Have always loved bike riding on this trail but today I was almost run over by several motorized vehicles; a dirt bike, ATV, and maintenance cart. Not cool. I purposefully avoid riding on the street because of motorized vehicles and always thought these types of vehicles were not allowed on any greenway trail. Besides that, the trail is beautiful, a decent length, plenty of rest areas, and a wonderful place to take a leisurely ride with a chance to see some deer along the way.

Perfect way to get in some safe social distancing. Trails are well cared for, visitors are friendly and most of the Trail is wheelchair accessible πŸ‘¨πŸ½β€πŸ¦½

A nice back way in to McAlpine Creek Greenway, it includes a couple of easy slopes down to the creek for my dog to sip and dip, a long, pleasant elevated board walk, passage under the highway. Parking is adequate, but could be laid out more clearly. A porta jon would be nice.

Small gravel parking lot, easy in and out, although easy to miss if you’re not paying attention. Nice walking path in both directions. Various surfaces, but even and wide. Great place to walk or bike with others.

Pretty decent trails. Nice for family walk and bike rides. Play grounds for the shorties, lakes for the the romantics, and fields for the athletes. Spacing on trails is adequate for cyclists to pass pedestrians, but it's not optimal. Audible recognition when passing is definitely recommended. All in all, a nice place to chill with the fam

From Campbell Creek Trailhead you can travel north under WT Harris Blvd to Idlewild passing ruins of the Lucas family grist mill or south and connect to the McAlpine Creek Greenway all the way to Providence Road.
