rooms are clean and beds are fine. hotel is ok for 1 stay overnight. I would not recommend it as holiday hotel to visit Chartres. Rooms are quit small and walls are like cardboard. but since it is one of the cheapest hotels in the neighbourhood it is ok for its price. And friendly and helpful people at the reception!

Pulled into this place last minute as we were tired and needed a to sleep. Room was tiny and the bathroom stank of mildew and mold. Towels were older than the rags I have at home. Breakfast next morning had run out of coffee cups and they took 10 mins to bring more. Selection of breads had almost run out and there were no croissants left which I find rediculous in France. Definitely not worth the €11 per person they charge as the service stations on the peage sell better and cheaper! Won't be staying there again 😭

We stayed here 1 night to continue our car trip the next day and was exactly what we needed. Good restaurant, friendly and helpful staff and small but functional room. Wouldn't recommend for a trip stay, but perfect for overnight's !

Absolutely horrible stay!! Room reeked of cigarettes, it was in the pillows and comforter too. Carpets were filthy. And the only curtains were sheers so anyone walking outside the room can see inside!!

Although the outside of the motel in Chartres was plain the rooms were modern and very functional. We just needed a one night stay to break up our journey home and this fit the bill. Breakfast was continental with no cooked food but was fine.

Everything was fine. Could have had more staff, 2 young men were very busy trying to book our car group in and they all arrived at the same time. There weren't enough beer glasses. Food was very good.

Stayed during a really hot spell - aircon on 24hrs as it was soo stuffy. Problem was that the clothes rail is just below the air con unit - the unit dripped condensation all over my clothing, Half my wardrobe got soaked, so had to buy new stuff to wear. Note to future developers: I realize there are space constraints, but please don't site clothes rail under air con units. Running 24 hrs means condensation dripping down.

the receptionist was very helpfull in providing us with a room at the ground level because my wife could not use the stairs easily.

Clean and well appointed rooms with air conditioning. Pet friendly. The attached restaurant and bar is fantastic, with beautiful buffet style food. Breakfast is particularly nice, with help yourself food, coffee and tea and fruit juice. Very friendly, helpful staff. Reasonably priced.

Second stop @ campanile hôtel now near Chartres, very warm welcome from the receptionist, very accommodating as I can't walk up stairs, gave me a ground floor room. I actually like this chain of accommodation

A pleasant overnight stay. A good meal served by attentive staff. Very good house red 😊

This one is the best Campanile hotel we’ve stayed in. Superb price. Great location. Clean. Will come back for sure. Especially when you head into Paris the next day.

Great staff. Easy location. Nice rooms. I had looked at more expensive hotels, but chose this one in an effort to economize. I don’t regret it-I lacked nothing.
