Me with my friends visited there for my friend's birthday treat, totally gone wrong with what we expected from this famous hotel. We ordered dosa for each person and they told one Gravy will be not enough for us, so we ordered two. But after dosa arrived we are in shock and never expected that size of dosa, and never had that much of small and thin paper like dosas in our life. When we ready to cancel our 2nd gravy they won't accepted it too. Anyway the low quantity of mutton gravy is tasted good with few pieces of mutton in it. Quality of food and service is good. But the restaurant need to improve the quantity and service, food preparation time for their regular and future customers. Because i heard many people had great experience in this hotel and even they suggested this hotel for us. I think we visited there for breakfast, I'm eagerly waiting to visit there for lunch and hope that experience will be good. Price is expensive for us for the breakfast and hope the lunch dishes will be quite satisfying.

I ordered in Swiggy. They are total scammers. This restaurant has lost all its values. I ordered chicken 65 add on for 135 rupees look what I got. I have added images. They gave me 35 grams to chicken. So small completely worthless. It’s just a SCAM. FOOD SCAMMERS.

Food was amazing. Our service staff Karthick took alot of effort to serve us, and gave us a homely feel. He ensured we enjoyed the food. He was very friendly, recommended good food to us. We are very pleased with him. We would recommend anyone to try the food there. Service was amazing. We are glad we dropped by here for our lunch , in the midst of our trip to Chennai -Singaporean

don't just order the item kindly choose the spicy levels before ordering. good atmosphere.. good staff.... only one common restroom is there but too much mutton liver smell in restroom..... otherwise it is ok....

Tasty food, big portions, good service. We had mutton biryani, chicken chettinad gravy, and chicken kothu parotta, and a salem egg dosa. It was all absolutely excellent. Big portion of biryani too. I wish the south Indian restaurants back home in the UK tasted half as good!

I visited Chennai and I got recommendations from my Twitter followers to try biriyani at Junior Kuppanna. I did value their suggestions and went there My orders included Egg kuttu parotta, Mutton Biryani Mutton biryani was flavourful but a bit high on fats ( a little oily for me) cost INR 375/- Egg Kuttu parotta: It was different and tasted very good : Cost INR 170/- Above mentioned costs are excluding taxes. Overall rating for this place: 3.75/5

Wonderful ambience, smiling staff, and most importantly delicious food! Kongu cuisine is special and Junior Kuppanna has taken it to another level. The spices in the Biryani stays evokes a charming aroma. Highly recommended if you are in the T Nagar area.

I recently had the pleasure of having lunch at Junior Kuppanna, and it was an absolute delight! The variety and quality of the curries exceeded my expectations. The fish curry was rich in flavor, perfectly spiced, and the fish was cooked to perfection. The egg curry had a unique twist that added a burst of flavors to every bite. The chicken and mutton curries were equally impressive, tender and infused with a blend of aromatic spices that left a lingering taste. To top off this delightful meal, I tried their Gulkand with Icecream dessert. It was a heavenly combination of sweetness and richness. The Gulkand added a distinct floral note, perfectly complementing the creamy ice cream. The only downside to it was that it was too sweet. The ambiance of the place was cozy, and the staff was attentive and friendly. Overall, JK offers a culinary experience that I highly recommend to anyone seeking a taste of the Kongu cuisine.

Tried Kizhili Parota and Peri peri chicken. The taste was very good, and had nice authentic Karaikudi spices. The tea was the best at the end. Kalai was the server, and she was kind enough to take the order, served the food and made sure I was well taken care of.

The service experience was disappointing, with a lengthy wait to be noticed and further delays in taking orders and delivering them. Quick tip: pre-order juices to save time. To expedite the bill, try standing up as if leaving. On the upside, the food was delicious, the ambience pleasant, and the location ideal. However, be prepared for potential surprises in the final bill.
