Some of the best pizza I've had in my life. I would highly recommend for anyone who appreciates authentic pizza styles over "British-style" pizza so found all too easily.

This is about as good as pizza gets, rich, flavorful, well balanced. I challenge you to find a more authentic Italian pizzeria without traveling to Italy

Went here on Friday for dinner. When my pizza arrived it had a hair in it. The customer service was dreadful - no care or concern about the quality of their pizza or impact on us, then no offer to replacement pizza or to refund it. Such as shame as the food quality based on our starter was good. The plot: Martin decides to go to Augusto to have a wonderful meal with his wife before going to the theatre. (From my previous review you will see that customer service was &*% …. well you will just have to read the previous review and the shocking reply from the Management Team). The scene: It was 5:30 and the shop was not that busy and so we thought we would give it a try. Background: Martin does not like to complain / or give reviews – hence there NEVER having been any reviews on my google account. The Complaint: I did find a long hair in my pizza, I did tell the waiter about it. The waiter took the hair away!! The waiter DID NOT COME BACK and did not say anything to me. The reason for the review was because: At the end of the meal the waiter did came over and asked “if everything had been okay with our meal” – no appology or a refund! It was this blatant disrespect for the customer was what drove me to write my first every review. It was the BULLYING, BELITTLING and DISREPECTFUL customer experience in how they replied to the review (and not actually telling the truth) that drove me to write my second review! =====================================================================================

I visited Augusto this teatime with my family. We were made to feel very welcome. The food was delicious and excellent value . We took advantage of the offer a drink and pizza £8 a great offer. The staff were very friendly and particularly nice to my grandchildren. We will definitely be returning again soon .

Unsurprisingly good. And if you know Fabrizzio you must know that he wouldn't sink his soul into a project unless he is confident it is worth it. Im an exremely difficult person to please with pizza... and I'm beyond pleased. Im writting this before desserts and actually seeing the bill, and I'll just tell you is worth it. If all the pizza you've had so far was only from fast food joints, I'll bet London to a brick that you've no idea what true pizza tastes like. I was like you too, until I dined at Augusto pizzeria. Pizza at Augusto's is NOT like your normal pizza, it's phenomenal with each bite. Chef's special carbonara pizza is a must try, it was fantastic. If you're looking for a smaller pizza but packed with flavours and tastes of a bigger one, the Turin style pizzas are the go to, they are crisped to perfection and cooked to set new standards. Special shout to waiter Lucas and waitress Cat for being such sweet and friendly people who made my solo dining experience even more fun, congrats to chef Kalo and back of the house team for convincing me with your dishes that Augusto is the best pizza place in Chester!

Nice new pizzeria in the city centre, a different slant on the Italian pizza with a choice of authentic bases. Really tasty and top quality. Good choice of beer and wine. Upstairs is away from the door to the street. Very good service. Limited choice of puddings.

Augusto pizzeria is AMAZING!! The pizza is absolutely delicious, I highly recommend this place. It is great for spending time with family and the chefs meals and desserts are yummy! We went last night with my friends, and we absolutely loved it. The pizza were tasty, the service was very friendly and the interior was lovely. I've seen a couple of reviews mentioning about how soggy their pizza was... well clearly these people have never experienced authentic Italian pizzas before. This place make them exactly the way they should be, not the American/British way! Highly recommend it.

Went for a pizza on a Wednesday night with my wife on a 2 night stay to Chester thought we would try this restaurant mistake!!! We first arrived the manager said I just need to go down the road leaving us stood outside He came back and didn’t even Notice stood waiting Guess he forgot !! So I ask him again can we have a table please went up stairs ordered our drinks 20 min later they arrived no apology Pizza was not cooked and soggy Avoid !! service was terrible Service with a smile don’t think so !!! Will not be going back sorry for bad review but get your act together In my world customer always come first !!

Some staff were very friendly, however some of the servers seemed a little cold. Although our order was messed up twice (they forgot our foccacia and gave one of our guests the wrong pizza) the pizza was amazing and they were very apologetic, compensating for our forgotten foccacia. Would go again, and hopefully next time we don't have the same problems.

We had the Turin base pizzas and they were delicious- they look small but they were not! They were very filling and toppings were plenty and delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the service was quick. Will definitely be back.

Visited 11/3/23 We ordered a sharing starter, 2 of the deeper base pizzas and 2 sides, and one dessert between us. Everything was simply superb. We were even forewarned the order may be a while due to staffing issues, but everything arrived promptly and our two servers were very attentive! Not to mention one of the best wheat beers I've tasted. Well played, will definitely be coming back.

Absolutely excellent pizza. We stayed in Chester for a long weekend and ended up farting pizzas from here on two occasions it was so good. The range of pizzas was great, perfect amount of toppings and the dough was super tasty. Can’t wait to visit again and eat more pizza!

Augusto's never disappoints and as always the pizza's are the best i've tasted outside Italy. Service was amazing, and Fabrizio was as courteous as always.if you've not ate pizza here.......you've not ate pizza!

Super attentive & friendly host and the rest of the team seemed really nice. Great prices and genuinely one of the best pizzas I have ever had. Great selection of food and the atmosphere was lovely. The only downside is I don't live in Chester so can't come back!

Fantastic gem of a Place. The Calamari was light, Crisp and delicious. The Turin Pizza's are extraordinary, never had anything like it. Absolutely delicious. The owner and staff are extremely polite and friendly, looking forward to our next visit already. Would really recommend a visit.

My new favourite pizza! We visited here for the first time for my partner’s birthday, will definitely be back soon. The food was out of this world. Hands down the best pizza I’ve ever had. The host Fabrizio was really friendly and attentive. Can’t wait to go back!

Dined out while working in the area with work colleague. Food was exceptional. Great friendly service at very reasonable price. Will eat here again. Can't recommend enough.

Our visit to Pizzeria Augusto was a delightful experience. The pizza, whether classic Neapolitana or Turin-based, was truly amazing. Going on a Wednesday was a bonus as we got two drinks for just £10, a real bargain. And let's not forget the delicious Nutella pizza dessert! Without a doubt, if we ever return to Chester, Pizzeria Augusto will be our top choice once again.

Went here for my birthday and found a gem! Had a great meal and the service was excellent, booked another visit for tomorrow as a result. If you like authentic Italian pizza done well then this is the place to go.
