Its very common for cafes to sell coffee not very hot. Despite asking twice to make my coffee extra hot it was served barely warm. The North of Thailand grows superior coffee beans but I think they chose the lowest grade possible. Will not return and I recommend others seeking a good coffee to give it a miss.

The location is great, the facilities (kitchen, nice cafe and bar, working spaces) are very nice. It is very clean and the bed sheets were very soft and smelt very clean. I have had quite a lot of experience staying in hostels and I reckon these were the cleanest and freshest smelling bed sheets I've come across. The staff were very friendly and always greeted with a smile. The beds are incredibly firm and I think it may be an issue for some, but I actually prefer this and slept very well. The almond milk cappuccino I had from the cafe in the morning was delicious- somehow one of the best coffees I've had. It's also nice to have single beds rather than bunk beds. Was a great place to stay and I will for sure use jai bed and cafe again when I am in Chiang Mai. :)

I recently visited Jai Bed Cafe and was blown away by the experience! From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed warmly by the staff who were incredibly friendly and helpful. I was impressed with the overall vibe of the cafe, which was both cozy and trendy at the same time. The concept cafe is a Retro and a bit vintage, on the ground floor is a cafe and restaurant that will be turn into the bar in the evening. Another floors are Cozy hostel by the way there is a nice rooftop bar that have elevator to go up as you can enjoy the sunset with the really great Chiangmai old town view. Apart from the rooftop bar , the food and beverages were another highlight of my visit. I tried their signature coffee blend, and it was one of the best cups of coffee I've ever had. They also had a wide range of snacks and desserts, including some fusion food options as well especially local cannabis mocktail is a special brand from the cafe.there are 3 flavors that you can try. Overall, Jai Bed Cafe is an exceptional place to hang out, relax, and unleash your creativity for your work. The staff is exceptionally friendly, the atmosphere is inviting, and food options will leave you spoiled for choice. I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a unique and memorable experience.

Jai Rooftop Bar is a great place for a sunset cocktail looking back over the mountains of Chiang Mai. Great happy hour deals, too

Good service in this cafe and chill out for tourist. Walking down from Tapae gate to warorot market then you will definately see this cafe . Good quality of mocktail.

Could not recommend the rooftop bar more!! Great views (go for sunset). Buy 1 get 1 free happy hour drinks with delicious choices! Also the nicest staff ever!! They even gave us a free shot as a thank you. We will be returning 11/10

Can't comment on the hotel part of this place, but the coffeehouse and rooftop areas are a whole vibe. Great spot to get some internet in, play pool, or just hang out.

This review is just on the food and it's a small menu. In general I found their prices higher than similar restaurants and I ordered a hamburger which I really did not enjoy. It had a greasy fried egg on it and a weird tasting cheese. No mustard or pickles available. I expected fries with it and it was a small handful of very oily salty chips of some kind, more like deep fried something than actual potatoes. 220 baht and I've had much better hamburgers for $120. Once before I had a chocolate dessert like a mouse that was delicious but I recall they had no hot green tea but only cold. Atmosphere is cool and comfortable but some of it is couches with low tables and not really conducive to eating from.

They let locals sleep in this hostel if there are beds free (back entrance), I was laying in the men’s bedroom with locals that were making very “strange noises” till late midnight. Did not sleep at all!

Super friendly guys at the coffee bar that make good drinks for reasonable prices. The rooftop bar is nice, but a little overpriced, just go for the coffee, matcha, and atmosphere.

JAI Bed and Cafe is a gem in Chiang Mai! The vibe is spot-on with cool tunes and great coffee. Plus, power plugs everywhere – a big plus. It's the full package. Definitely worth a visit!

Good coffee in the day, comfortable place, great seating, lighting, design, nooks to read or work or talk in. Inexpensive cocktails in a surf themed rooftop bar in the evening.

Jai bar was a relaxing and interesting place to visit with its retro decor. I felt very welcomed by the staff and the coffee was excellent. I went up to watch the sunset from the rooftop bar which was a cool experience.

Stumbled upon this place walking to a night market, so we stopped in for a quick drink. We were pleasantly surprised when we made our way to the roof top with the incredible view of Chiang Mai. Service was outstanding, drinks were delicious

I found this place random and the rooftop its amaizing. I was there to drink a cocktail and they had an offer 1+1 (i don’t know if its daily, or they have some “happy hours”). The music was good and the waiter very polite! I really recomand to give this place a chance!

This is such a wonderful cafe to pass the hours. Really great coffee and lots of other nice drinks. Lovely atmosphere and it turns into a cocktail bar in the evening! Love this place ❤️

I came here for a drink and sat on the rooftop. The staff is Pleasant and the drinks are strong. I purchased a Long Island Iced Tea and it was the strongest drink I have had in Thailand yet. I will come back here again as it's a great location and is also close to the sushi place.

Super bar, you can play with a nice pool, the service is great and good cocktails.
