The place has good food at good prices. It’s a cheap canteen style place with a variety of pre made meals. The lady is friendly and speaks some English, but I’m a bit unimpressed that when she’s serving you, if a Thai person comes in she’ll abandon you to serve them first, even is she’s part way through your order. Warning: the god here is VERY SWEET compared to the original Ming Kwan at Wat Phrah Singh. Especially the curry, dessert and khao soy. I don’t mind things a bit sweet but I’ve had to stop eating some dishes because they contain so much sugar & also more salt. The original branch does not add much sugar etc and has the sugar separate on the table. If you dislike a lot of sugar and salt in your meals, stick to the original branch! Even the plain green beans with grated carrot that I got today was very sweet and my tongue was tingling from the amount of salt!

This place is incredible. Not your usual dull veg cuisine, this is the most varied & delicious, low budget, healthy food i have ever eaten, partly courtesy to the genius of Thai food in general. Even after hours cooling, the flavours are bold but subtle, the vegetables delicate & perfectly cooked, so i don't miss meat at all. They are quietly putting out amazing food everyday at a great price. If they could serve hot from the bainmarie, i would wish to give it 6 stars. Thanks for doing what you do.

My bank blocked my card leaving me cashless until the situation could be fixed. Ming Kwan let me eat and asked me to come back the following day to pay. Having not eaten today I really appreciate this. Also, the food is super tasty and there are plenty of different options available.
