Original Northern dish at Chiangrai, you will not disappoint here. Good taste, good service and reasonable price.

Came here based on the recommendations of Google. Ambience and decor is nice but the service was horrendous. We made a reservation for 7pm for 6 adults and one child, arrived just before 7pm. Only three dishes were served to us and we waited for almost an hour and still no sign of the rest of our food. What made it worse was that others that came later were already done with their meal and eating watermelon for desserts. We were so angry that we cancelled the rest of our order and left. This was supposed to be a birthday celebration for my friend's wife. Disappointing, would not recommend.

This restaurant is awesome. It has an outdoor area where customers can have a long chat among northern decoration and nice atmosphere. Food here sounds really northern style. You can try some I posted here. They are not too spicy and good taste. Northern Thai Sausages are my recommendation.

Very beautiful restaurant with good service. The lady who can speak English was very helpful and willing to give nice suggestion of food. Food was delicious and authentic style.

Slow and lousy service. Ordered the set and other dishes. Wait over an hour and the set still haven't come. In the end had to cancel the set food and eat food that we bring ourselves to fill our stomach. Paid $1265 baht for 5 dishes (1 fish, 1 vegetable, 1 soup and 2 pork dishes). Extremely disappointed.

Had dinner for one person here. Ordered "northern style sour soup with morning glory and snakehead fish". Soup was indeed sour and spicy and very tasty. I would order it again. Food was brought to my table quickly, especially considering how crowded the place was at that time. Prices are set about right for the quality of the food and the atmosphere. They have tables upstairs and downstairs, open air and AC. When I was there at dinner time, they had live acoustic music, and the restaurant was quite busy, most of the tables were occupied. Some tables can't see the stage, so if you want to watch the performance you might have to wait for a table. Servers were attentive and were moving quickly, but they seemed inexperienced and were unorganized. Overall though, a very good experience. Would eat here again.

This is the place that tourists always come but the local didn’t really come. Anyway they provide very nice northern foods. Not too pricey. A bit waiting time if you come with the big group more than 15 people. Staffs are very polite and nice. They have show Thai local norther style dance which is very nice also.

Place a little deserted. Only several locals were dining. Food was a little sweet to our liking and we didn’t really enjoy the food. Atmosphere wise nice place to chill! But it sounded like that there was another show going on nearby which kinda spoilt the performance.

Good food friendly prices. Not sure about the authenticity of the food, but it's sure tasty! Not sure ifs daily, but live band and dances are done throughout dinner.

really good local foods (Northern dishes). I recommend Northern style hors d'oeuvres. This menu is spicy (really good taste). For the one not spicy, you can try Khao Soi Chicken. Staff are supportive and atmosphere is so good. Don't forget to enjoy the local music.

Food was tasty and the service was good, slightly pricy compared to the small restaurants nearby. But since it was quite difficult to find a decent restaurant in this town which can provide a menu in English, we decided to come back to this restaurant the next day. Good ambiance with live music performances, like other places in town 😅 dance was good but the singing could be better 😂 but hey, you’re in for food right?

Very impressed by the traditional northern Thai food! The ambience was very cosy and warm. Food was delicious. We recommend the nam prik noom, squid krapao, and fried chicken wings

This place is beyond amazing. The dishes we ordered brought us nostalgia and haven’t been amazed by a dish in such a long time, we even ended up ordering the same dish twice as it was that good !! The atmosphere is awesome and unique, calming experience. The staff are so friendly and try their best to accomodate for our needs. The best thing is we found this place randomly which led to one of our greatest finds :)

Trust me! You have to try this awesome traditional northern Thai restaurant if you are looking for a quiet place to sit down have a little chat and enjoy mouthwatering northern Thai cuisine. Reasonable price and quality of the food was beyond my expectations. Highly recommended!

Great food and service the decor is nice during high season they have entertainment here in the form of dancers in traditional Northern Thai clothes

My friend is a vegetarian, but they didn't have interesting options for her, anyway, the food they brought for her was very spicy, despite emphasizing that she didn't want it to be spicy. They don't have grilled fish and the fish I ordered didn't taste very interesting, the lady who was in charge of taking the order was very kind and patiently tried to help us choose the food.

Authentic Thai experience. Our first dinner during our week-long trip in Thailand was at an old house that was transformed into a restaurant called Toke Tong. We were served a good selection of best-tasting Thai specialties which we enjoyed eating while being entergained by cultural dancers and singers. The restaurant has a very relaxed and casual atmosphere. Ideal for families or groups. They have outdoor seating with comfortable spots for diners. It was a memorable experience for us, although some of the food were too spicy for us, we still enjoyed this gastronomic experience. Everything was made possible by our sponsor, the Tourism Authority of Thailand.
