A nice well kept hotel close to the center of town, night market, bus station, etc. The rooms are modern and well maintained. There is a refrigerator and a kettle with instant coffee included. The restaurant area was closed on my visit due to very little business during Covid. There is a nice pool, ample parking and an excellent staff.

Great location, easy to navigate around and to get to the walking market on the weekend. Lots of food options too. Rooms were a little run down with peeling wallpaper, but the aircon worked well. The wet room was a hit annoying because you got wet feet everytime you needed to pee or wash hands.

The room is nice and the bed is comfortable. I had problem closing the bathroom doors and I felt that the room smelled musty, also as the shower is not separated from toilet, everything gets wet and doesn’t dry out quickly. Aside from that, everything was perfect, the personal is friendly and the breakfast was good and diverse. It has several parking spots.

Rooms were dated and there was no safe. We did see that the rooms on the ground floor however were more modern and appear to have been renovated fairly recently. WiFi in the hotel was ok, however, you do not get any signal outside. Great location for all bars, restaurants and massages. Breakfast was included, which is always a plus, but a more varied selection would have been appreciated.

Nightmare hotel. The bed has ticks—in dire need of new furniture it and proper cleaning. The air conditioning has a loud noise every hour which needs to be sprayed by the front desk people. Sound insulation is horrible, as you can hear the pipes. Overall, avoid it as there are better hotels within the vicinity.

Excellent location, close to a really good Italian restaurant. Hotel Just South of the clock tower and barely South of the Italian food. Clean and spacious rooms although they all have same floor plan. Very helpful staff and English spoken. For you beer drinkers there are places to buy, nearby, during Bhudda hours. Ample parking and secure.

Room was fine, pool had green water so didn’t swim in it, breakfast a bit boring. But staff was friendly

We ate there after our diving sessions. The food is good but when we payed cash some of the money went missing on the way to the kitchen. So we had to pay it twice.

Stayed in a room with balcony on G floor. 1) The cleanliness need to be improved. We are Malay but decided to wear sandal in the room because the floor was super sticky. 2) The staff from reception to restaurants are all nice and friendly. Always smile and look like want to give the best services. 3) Swimming pool is nice. The balcony in the room was really helpful to dry my wet clothes. 4) Walking distance to Clock Tower & Walking Street plus a lot of halal food options around. 5) The receptionist can speak English but we used Thai because we wanted to practice...hehe

Great location and service, good breakfast, very beautiful pool 🌊 Got an early check-in for free. We should have had a room with garden view, but got one with no view at all (just some hotel construction) and couldn’t open the window, but didn’t complain as we stayed there for only one day.

Wonderful experience at Blue Lagoon. Smiling faces everywhere. The staff is really courteous and well trained. I was sitting beside the pool when a staff member offered me an ice tea as a kind gesture. That's what customer service is all about. The location of the property is good and walking distance from the Chiang Rai bus terminal 1. Lots of good restaurants and tourist activity and also close to the night bazaar. Scooter for rent is available in the vicinity. Everything for a reasonable price. I highly recommend this Hotel because of its STAFF. 👏 👏

Conveniently located close to Bus Terminal, nightlife and a wide selection of restaurants, the hotel features comfortable rooms with aircon, fridge but no safe box. Only problem is the tiny bathroom (you shower the toilet bowl as well) with no soap (they provide only bath gel), and smelling bad, and the presence of 3 steps inside the room which, sooner or later, will turn into some sort of trouble. Nice pool although in winter is pretty cold. All staff very kind and helpful. Buffet breakfast is pretty good although not so varied.

Bell boy did a superb job. Clean facility, staff was very accommodating, and nice cool swimming pool to cool down.

I recently stayed at the Blue Lagoon Hotel in Chiang Rai and was extremely pleased with my experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, going out of their way to allow an early check-in. The hotel is in a great location, with easy access to local attractions. The breakfast was amazing, with a variety of options to choose from. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

Location is perfect. Bathroom (have you ever had a shower in a broom closet? ) Beds. The mattress was a bit too firm for my liking. Would definitely stay there again and would definitely recommend to others.

We've been traveling for 3 months now staying in 4-5 star places. This is the cheapest place we've stayed in. We only stayed for one night and it was much better than expected. We departed at 06:15am even though breakfast only started at 0630, staff made us a quick breakfast and coffee to go. Room was very clean and bed comfy. The only thing I didn't love it was a wet bathroom

Tripping hazzard everywhere, tiny bathroom, no shower curtain, no dresser provided, no writing desk and supplies. Bedroom accessories were good, breakfast and host were good.

The pool and the outside area of the hotel are nicely renovated and the breakfast is fine. Only downsides are the noisy rooms with extreme creaky beds, weird blankets and if you shower the whole bathroom becomes wet and slippery.

Good location - not a great room. The shower is on top of the toilet - besides that.. not a bad spot.

Central Chiang Rai city hotel, walking distance from night bazar. The hotel has a swimming pool, a restaurant for breakfast and good car park. Staff is welcoming and helpful. The room was nicely clean with all the amenties and finally a big bed. The bathroom is small but with a nice hot shower.

Last month we stayed for 2 nights in Blue Lagoon. Hotel is very close to Bus station and the Night Bazar. Rooms are clean. Bathroom is a bit small with toilet, shower and sink in the same room, after a shower everything is wet and a bit slippery. Be sure to lay down the mat. Staff is friendly at the front desk. Breakfast is extensive for the price and they have a good coffee machine. Suvanna (lady at breakfast) greets all the guests with a warm welcome, she makes sure everyone has a good stay. She gave us very good tips on what to visit in Chiang Rai and even arranged bus tickets for us for the next day while we enjoyed the excursion. Also she gave good tips on where to eat for dinner. (Toke-Tong). Be sure to talk to this friendly lady and your stay will be unforgettable.
