The Japanese garden is one of the serene places that you can visit. Yoko Ono sculpture. Lots of wild life sanctuary, great to walk, have picnic. There is a driving range, a paid and one free parking lot. Basketball court. The parking lot off 57th (paid) was the place for weed. Cleaned up considerably now.

Very nice and peaceful park. Will be even better whenever they are done with the construction work.

Went for Hanami or Cherry blossoms flower watching this weekend. The weather being no sweater weather was the Cherry on the cake. Enjoyed the small walk. Stopped to take tons of pics.( Some trees were more popular with those touristy folks so avoided them) One might get get just another weekend to watch these beauties before they fall down . Past weekend would have had the best blooms view but the bleak , rainy day made me stay in. Do stop and spend a moment with the wild flowers on the trail too. Very therapeutic.

Went to take some blooms pics today. Felt like it is going to be gone in a few days, but it was still really pretty. Parked for free on some of the side-streets. Follow @ajitho.photography for more :)

Very nice park. The lagoon and Japanese Garden yield breathtaking views of their environs. The park ends at the lake, and this area of the park also contains stunning views. Shady characters tend to gather at the far south end of the park, so keep that in mind. I ignore them and focus on the surrounding greenery and waters instead, which is what I come to Jackson Park to see.

This place was absolutely amazing for kids and adults alike. 4 floors of awesomeness. Lego exhibits were sweet and so was everything else.

Jackson park is a gem nestled in Chicago. They have a lot of space to do many different activities. I saw people doing everything from jogging to gender reveal party’s and everything in between. They also have another gem inside a gem. I’m referring to the zen garden they built to give people a place to kick back and relax, It was beautiful. I feel we should have one of these in every city. I suggest if you see the Museum of science and industry you should take a quick trip over to Jackson park. Heck go there just cause.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this spot. It's extremely peaceful. One of my favorite gems of Chicago. The Japanese Garden is located here and that, within itself, is one of the best places to walk through. No dogs allowed in the Japanese Garden. But no worries because across the lake from the garden, is a dog playground called Jackson Bark that can be accessed from Lake Shore Drive.

Superb place to see the cherryblossom during its season. Nice to have ample space for pay per plate parking. Very nice views near the lakefront. Great option to spend some family time in the serene ambience there!

I freaking love the museum. The lego exhibit is exquisite. Fascinating art installation. Complaint time. There were more than a handful of interactive pieces that were inoperable. Sad times for my experience. And, the $25.00 waterbottle my wife bought wont keep ice for more than a few hours. On the flipside, still a great experience and will be going back, hopefully with their interactive pieces functioning like they should.

I love this museum. My scholars had a great time and it was very educational. We were able to relate the Pullman Porters from our reading lesson to the trains 🚂 and the cars to the inventor. Also, we had good conversation around the body analogy that was discussed in science. The video about climate change held all of our interest. Great Place. However, I will choose to go before the end of the school year because students didn't have enough time to get settled and finish their lunch in 20 minutes.

This museum is a jewel I can't even begin to name all the things that I've seen while I was there I've seen like a holographic globe television I've seen all the old cars beautiful beautiful art a contraption called i think the whisper you can actually whisper to a person 30 feet away and it sounds like there standing over your shoulder its nit electrical either blew my mind actually if I try to name everything I'll do it a disservice I'll just post some pictures but I'm going back you need four to five hours to truly see the entirety of it stayed for two hours aND only seen a quarter of it.

The museum was awesome after hours. We took our kids and their friends to the boo fest there! Totally worth it! My husband bought me a sloth and a cute Astronaut bag!

The size and scale of the exhibit is amazing. Exhibit is interactive educational things throughout, including a tour of the submarine. We ended up booking this event for a corporate dinner where guests had commented this was one of the best attractions for dinner networking events they have attended..

Have loved going to MSI since I was a kid. Now I take my kids. They enjoy some of the treasures I did and so much more. Plenty of interactive and interesting things for them to do and explore. We attended during the 80th Christmas around the world event. Very beautiful displays all around.

Walked from university of Chicago campus. It is a stunning campus. We'll worth a visit. We visited the Robie House by Frank L Wright. Then we walked to Jackson Park site of the 1893 world exhibition as described in the book: Devil in the White City. The area is a bit unloved at the moment.

It's great! Very picturesque at any time of the year. Very spacious lots of beautiful old trees and not littered with terrible modern art sculptures. The MSI building and surrounding park still maintains it's artistic and historical integrity of the 1930s. It's always a pleasant and rewarding vist.

The place is great, very tiring to walk around, a lot of people are there too. Lots of things at the museum, food is amazing, staff are amazing, especially David who directed our tour on the U-505 Submarine he did a great job! Theirs things you can experience and understand more about.

Very quiet in the park due to newly cold weather, brrrr. Nice to have a small spot to be alone in a busy area, great view of the museum and easy to catch a bus. If you like big open spaces then this is a decent spot for you! Smiling is optional. I hope you have a blessed day.

Our family always enjoy MSI every time we visit. They always have great exhibits. Last Fall we went there for the MCU or Marvel exhibit. This Summer we went to see the Lego exhibit. We had a blast. Both kids loved it!

Love it, Love it.....everything so delicious and freshly made with tremendous attention to flavor. Welcoming atmosphere with outdoor sitting on a patio in the rear. Try a combination dinner my favorite is lamb, steak, and salmon with rice and vegetables, Lentil soup, Falafel, and Hummus.

I am learning to love my community more and more. The cherry blossoms and the Japanese cultural festivities helped me to see the diverse beauty within the Hyde Park community.

Scary place at night! You will notice quite a few cars with limo tint even on windshield. The aroma of cannabis flows through the air like a summer haze. Youth carry full bottles of liqour with red cups and toss them everywhere.few police can be seen in this park. Keep in mind that the OBAMA MUSEUM WILL FIX ALL THESE ISSUES.

One of my favorite stops in the city and a place I always show out of towners the museum of science and industry is an all time favorite place of mine. It sparked wonder in my curious mind as a child and helped foster a love for learning.

This park is beautiful. I only regret not taking allergy medicine before coming. It made me feel like I was living a cottage core fantasy even though I was still nestled deep in Chicago.

I haven't been in years so I took my Daugjter last week. Everything was different than I remember. (In a good way)The Legos display was very elaborate indeed! The Hall of mirrors was awesome as well as the indoor tornado. You can turn it up/down and play with it. The planes were cool and pretty much everything was 👍🏾

Didn't realize there is a such a nice beach at the end of the lakeshore drive. The beach complex is unique. Close to the University of Chicago and the museum of industry and science.

It's a beautiful park and trail but has some really secluded areas. Probably best to bring someone or a group.
