Black people don't go there!!! I was treated horribly by the staff and was called "angry" for calmly asking for a refund when my order was made incorrectly. The staff never apologized and I didn't receive a refund either. The staff claimed they don't give refunds although there is no sign posted. I didn't feel welcomed there. I feel like I was treated like that because I am black. I will never patronize this establishment again in life!

Amazing coffee house! The atmosphere is so enjoyable. It’s such a lovely place for coffee, I also enjoy their mango smoothie 💛 it’s a very nice place to work, very comfortable and quiet. Staff was very nice. The prices are average and fair. It can get a bit warm in summer afternoons but it also looks lovely at that time. Great gem in the neighborhood!

Cute little coffee house with plenty of street parking around. Has free guest WiFi. Variety of coffees, pastries and sandwiches. They have seating in the back and outside also.

Inconsistent experience depending on the barista. I went last saturday eve, I had a cortado with oat milk it was great. Decided to come back today, I ordered the same thing, oat milk cortado, I was already in the car when I realized they loaded it with sugar, without being asked, also way too much milk, it looked like a bad latte, I ended dumping the coffee. The breakfast sandwich was just ok, the bread was barely toasted, I asked for bacon and got ham instead. I instantly regretted the tip before you got the service. I won't come back

I visited the cafe on a day that had flash flood warning ⚠️ for Chicago. It was raining incessantly and l had a bad cold thanks to drenching wet to my bones the evening before. The staff was really welcoming. Took my order quickly and asked me to take a seat 🪑 and rest. They brought my order to my table and asked me to call them over if l needed anything else. The bakes and wraps were good but what l really enjoyed the most on that cold day was their Cinnamon spiked Chai Latte. It was too good and brought a lot of relief from the cold I had. Thanks for being such a nice 👍 cafe. Keep up the good work.See you guys soon 😊 ❤️The indoor ambience is very welcoming as well. Alas l dnt hav a pic of the place as l was literally battling the cold but will get a few pics for you guys when l visit this sweet cafe

A cute little local coffee shop with good signature drinks and pastries! I had a Vanilla Latte and a Lemon Bar the first day I was in town and loved it enough to come back to try a mocha and donut my second day! They also have some fun raised seating by the windows.

Slow service in morning. Staff having personal conversations with friends while customers waiting (not even making drinks while talking!). Just don't have patience while trying to get to work .We don't build an extra 15 minutes into our morning Commute.

Front room is good for coffee meetups and chatting, back room is for serious study/work only - it’s like a library back there, very little talking. This place is consistent and has been my Bridgeport go-to for many years now. Good coffee and food.

Great spot to work and enjoy the Bridgeport neighborhood. They have a nice additional space towards the back if you really need a table. The coffee is standard fare and average priced.

We traveled to Chicago from Dallas to visit family coming in from the Philippines, we stayed at a VRBO in Bridgeport a minute walk from the Bridgeport coffee house. Immediately upon entrance we were welcomed by Jack the owner’s son who runs the shop. He was fantastic, very welcoming, hospitable, always checked on us, made sure our orders were up to par and really treated us with genuine love for a customer. We came by every morning for a week and it made for great vacation. Their breakfast sandwiches were very good. The neighborhood was really friendly and the atmosphere was truly great. If we come back to Chicago we will more than likely stay in Bridgeport and walking distance from the Bridgeport coffee house. I highly recommend this place. I work hard for my money and I’m very selective of where I spend it. You should to.

Great place to sit and get some work done. Second room on the left is quiet and bright. The room temperature is ideal. They don't blast the AC which is nice. Great and friendly service.

Friendly people great service. Iced matcha was good as was muffin but almost $14 .....I can slide to Starbucks and not have to drive around looking for a parking spot. I'm all about supporting the small businesses in the community but com'on.

I love this place, been coming here for years. All the workers are very nice. I like to sit outside with my 🐕. But lately there has been a group of men that smoke non stop. 😒 I've noticed everyone leaves cause of the smoking. I just move to the other side.

Nice coffee shop. Staff are super friendly and the prices are cheap. The coffee has been a little weak and could use an extra shot of espresso across the board.

Stopped in after being absent for a year+, miss the old welcoming staff that use to be there. It is definitely missing the vibe from years ago. Bring that back BCH, that is what makes you different in the neighborhood. Also store has a convenience fee and store tax added to receipt, not sure why.

I used to go here much more frequently, but the quality of drinks has gone down. The drinks are not consistent. I get a simple iced vanilla latte every time - some days it's sweet milk, some days there's hardly any ice, some days it's just right. For the price, it's hard for me to pay for a sometimes tasty drink.

Great vibes and great food. The staff is generally pretty friendly. I enjoy their breakfast sandwich and selection of tea.

I love the apricot tea, jalapeño cheddar bagel and the vibe. It’s a really great coffee with the mixture of quite and spaces to have conversation! Everyone is also super friendly there! Thank you!!! I recommend it to go solo - read a book, get some work done or meet up with a friend!

The coffee and food is not longer good. The coffee has been tasting burnt. I asked for the bacon sandwich with no cheese because I’m lactose intolerant and they put cheese and put no bacon. Great way to start my morning 😒

I just want to return to this coffee shop again and again! I enjoyed the flavor and atmosphere of their coffee because it was so relaxing. Their employees were both knowledgeable and courteous. I would really recommend your coffee shop to all of my friends in our neighborhood. Thank you very much for your generosity, gentlemen!

I have been going to this place for years and it is still one of my favorite places to go. It's the cutest and only continues to improve. It could get crowded sometimes but if you find it quiet, you will not want to leave.

I had a Chi Tea. It was so delicious. It was made from scratch. I was not disappointed. I will return.

I have tried the iced white mocha from a few coffee spots in the area and so far I think this place has the best one. Others were a bit too sweet in my opinion, but this place I thought had the right sweetness. This place also had great service and prices are reasonable. Would come again some time and try some other drinks and maybe their foods.

Masala chai was good , but would have been even more better if it was more hot , plus we ordered walnut pie , taste was good , but it should have been heated up.

I really wish I live closer to this cafe!! I absolutely love everything about this place. I only planned to get a small black coffee and grind out some work ... but everything changed when I saw their oddly satisfying perfectly cut chocolate chip brownies. How can pastries look so good? I couldn't resist and ordered one. The brownie isn't too sweet and goes perfectly with my drink!! The cafe is so cute and has tons of room!! It has a vintage vibe and I am really able to focus and get a lot of work done. All the tables and chairs look different so you can really pick your favorite seat at this cafe and call it your own. I will come again and again and again to try all their pastries!

One of the best spots in Bridgeport. I would say best coffee in this neighborhood. I get a breakfast sandwich at least weekly. Jalapeno bagel?...Yes please!

Great coffee and service. Espresso was good and the lemon bar was pretty good. Lots of space here to hangout/ get work done. I'd suggest downloading their app to order ahead in order to skip the line because it gets busy at times.

Good to dah last drop. A genuine neighbor coffee house in an converted old drug store with tin ceiling.also a small outdoor seating area.Dah local joint. locally owned with 4 exclusive Chicago locations.Bakery goods good.Coffee good A bit pricey but well worth it.On street parking, not metered. Far better than burnt coffee served at large chain outposts. AWARDED 2 YUMS ON SCALE OF 3

Needed somewhere to work remotely for the day while traveling - this place was perfect. Ample seating, pretty quiet setting, great bagel sandwiches and coffee.

This place used to be awesome but they’re in danger of falling off. Need people that understand coffee (or at least train them) and have some more professional customer service. I think a little training will go a long way.

Hit or miss on coffee for me. I like to get lattes when I go to coffeeshops, and it's the inconsistent quality of both the taste, strength, and temperature that gives this place a below-average rating from me.

Good friendly service. Tasty coffee. And an out of this world Oreo dream bar. What's not to love in this local coffee shop?!

We drive from NW Indiana to get whole been coffee to make at home. The 25 mile drive is worth it. The coffee tastes great. I've tried many others but Bridgeport coffee is the best.

I've been coming here for years and love this place but I have to say your coffees have really changed in the past couple weeks. The past three times I've been there I've ordered different coffee drinks and they have all been bad/taste different than before.

Worked out of this coffee shop for a couple of days last October. The chairs do get a little uncomfortable after a couple of hours, but there is enough space to move around, or stand up if you need to. You can order online to order ahead and skip any lines. They have some good breakfast menu items if you need a bite to eat.

The space is nice but my sandwich wasn’t great (colored lettuce, bits of lettuce rather than strips).
