👍 Nice little park tucked away on bustling Southport. Has a few slides and climbing equipment, but no swings. The ground is soft rubber, and there's also a chalkboard, a drinking fountain and a few benches. Good for a short stop. People often mention park,

A nice little splash of nothing in a busy area. A cute playground that looks like a great amount of fun for those younger folk. Not dog friendly; which is totally understandable. Some nice tables right outside the playground area that are covered to help make some space to enjoy some delicious coffee! A Chicago classic!

Cute little neighborhood park that's really leaning into the Cubs. Took my nieces here (ages 5 and 7) and they loved writing with chalk on the big scoreboard. Wouldn't plan on spending a TON of time here but, if you're looking for a place to get outside and meet others, come on in.

I love Sheil Park. They offer great children's programming. Our favorite, being Kiddie College. Mr. Mike, Mr. David and Ms. Nasima ran the spring session. Mr. Mike also teaches tap and another Storytime/craft time which are also great. We've also done soccer, Tot Spot and we miss the gymnastics that Ms. Genesis used to run! Thanks for everything!

Great, little park district right by Wrigleyville. I've been going there my whole life, and it's always been clean with fantastic service as a child and as an adult.

Great staff and nice facility. The park is very cute and all located in a little nook of shopping. I do wish that all classes had a in person registration opportunity because once they are gone on-line then that's it.

It has a lot of nice kid activities. Prices are cheap but I find the staff very impersonal and mechanical. They deal with children but their attitude is not bright and welcoming as other park districts I have dealt with.

Sheil Playground is a tiny playground on the busy Southport corridor with a strong baseball theme that features the Cubs logo and a chalkboard replica of the iconic green scoreboard. A new playground - consisting primarily of large, red metal arches - provides climbing structures as well as a smaller area for younger children. The play area is completely enclosed and features several benches and picnic tables.

My kids absolutely adore this park! It's a clean and beautiful place for families. The playgrounds and green spaces make it a perfect spot for kids to have a blast.
