Update 06/23: I still like the place, but you got to be patient. Waited close to an hour for a crepe after being told it would take 15 minutes. Quite an experience! Great coffee, a lovely almond croissant, and live music!

Thought the chilaquiles were gonna be too much food but then I blacked out and woke up to an empty plate. Criminally good with a one of a kind vibe. Happy Pride!

The BEST and most beautiful food, the owner is absolutely incredible, kind and so thoughtful! Gorgeous, friendly and comfy atmosphere, and in a beautiful part of town. My favorite restaurant of all time!

UPDATE: just enjoyed Jazz and pasta night! The @TonyMilanoTrio and great food at a social distance. Fantastic!! Archie's is great!! From the time they opened the service has been first rate and the coffee and food is always fresh and delicious! It is a must just out of the Loyola Red line stop. We had after dinner coffee there today hope to have breakfast in the morning.

Such a great location right near the Loyola platform. Handwritten menu specials every night live music. My cousin who never drinks did a shot the place brings out your wild side I guess loved it!

Fantastic little cafe. High quality ingredients, all freshly prepared, and a great funky atmosphere. Get the goat cheese, apricot & egg toast. Fantastic

I sincerely enjoy this spot. Archie's has been around for a while now, and I'm grateful that it's been available as a space for community. The food and drinks here are very good, and the folks who work here are even better! The goat cheese date crepes when they have them are absolutely delicious too!

Cuuuute little 2nd wave style artsy café. They pull a great, balanced espresso and can offer you sparkling water alongside. Unfortunately the entrance is totally inaccessible if you use a mobility aid, but there is lots of sidewalk level outdoor, shaded seating. Maybe call ahead and see if they can come up and take your order outdoors? ♿💜

Without a doubt the hardest working staff I've ever spectated. Please; TIP! TIP! TIP! The food is sooooo good 😩😋 Occasional rotating menu, but Thursday (pasta) & Friday (pizza) are exceptional; Pairing with live music 🎶. Check them out on the weekends! This gem of Rogers Park is overflowing with the best of the community. Please give it the attention and the RESPECT it has earned these past 4 years.

Archie's is a great cafe with great food, music, and atmosphere. However. This is now the third time I have waited an hour for my food and when I have checked on it Trey forgot to put it in, and I don't know if it's him or me but it's enough to make one of these. When it's good it's good though
