First time visiting Aglaia and I enjoyed it for the most part. The shop itself is beautiful. Very calm, friendly, and full of baked goods! I went in hoping for a quiche but they were all sold out (bummer). I ordered the avocado toast and it wasn’t my favorite. Very uniquely made, but beautifully presented. I would for sure come back to try the quiche and grab another honey latte which was DELICIOUS, by the way! Cost transparency: An iced latte + avocado toast was $20 after tax and before tip.

Extremely friendly • Great coffee This place is dog friendly and has a wonderful aesthetic. The owner curates local artists and has pop-up event regularly that highlight other local purveyors from food to flowers to art. It's definitely establishing itself as part of the neighbourhood and really brings in that community vibe. One thing that I really like is the specialty coffees. They are created and crafted with care and quality sourced ingredients, making them a great treat even for the straight espresso drink kind of customer. 😁

I LOVE this place! They have THE BEST grilled cheese I have ever tried. Of course, I do add avocado and chicken, which makes the sandwich even better. Today, I went in for my usual, but they unfortunately didn't have chicken, but they recommended bacon. It was still amazing! The guys working there were super friendly, and they even ran after me when they realized they forgot the sauce that comes with the grilled cheese. If that is not amazing customer service, I don't know what is. I am definitely coming back soon. -One happy REPEAT customer. 😊

Really chic cafe with organic drinks and food menu! Among all the cafes in Chicago, Aglaia has differentiated itself with the aesthetic forward ambiance, quality ingredients, and friendly service. Feels really nice, cozy, upscale, clean, and modern! Perfect place to have conversations with good friends and enjoy good drinks. For coffee drinkers, the cafe sources quality beans from Intelligentsia and Vanilla Latte is a favorite. Matcha Latte and Chai Latte are great for non coffee drinks. Smoothies are great for days needing the extra. Milk is organic and also offers alternatives like Oat and Almond milk. Great remote working spot in River West. The owner is super friendly, as are his staff. The vibe is Whole Foods meets Starbucks with gorgeous interiors. Try the vanilla honey latte, sugar free chai, and the house made GF muffins and quiche! The more you know: Aglaïa means splendor & beauty ✨ Thank you Jesse for the hospitable experience! Love this new neighborhood coffee shop! The owner Jesse is wonderful - he spent the time explaining to us the various offerings they have, including protein milk (which is lactose free!) which I had never heard of. Delicious organic coffee! We can’t wait to go back and try some of their freshly made gluten free bakery items-the PB&J muffin looked phenomenal. Our river west neighborhood loves welcoming new local places like this :)

We love aglaia! The dark chocolate latte with oat milk is my favorite. The owner always lets us bring our little beagle in and gives him a treat. We are so happy they opened up by us!

Very cool spot and friendly people. The only problem is they are grossly overpriced. Medium drip is $5, large cold brew is $7, medium redeye is $9. That’s almost double anyone else in the neighborhood.

This Coffee shop is so cute! I had the vanilla honey oat milk latte and it was delicious. I also had the jalapeno bacon kolache. Not very spicy but very good sweet bun. And the best part is they're Dog friendly! The staff gave my dog a treat ☺️

The most calm, clean, and relaxed remote working location I’ve found in Chicago so far. The London Fog is one of the best I’ve had in the US. Definitely give this place a visit! The items are pricey but you’re paying for quality drinks and quality ingredients.

The chicken salad croissant was soooo good. Service is slow; they could use an additional staff person on the weekends. But would absolutely return for food and vibes.

Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this place. Staff is welcoming and the spot is cute BUT everything else is horrible and OVERPRICED. The coffee was just okay. I didn’t really get the “wow” factor that my taste buds where looking for but I decided to go try something different another day since I work 1 min away—The smoothies are the worse. I mean don’t even waste your money attempting to try them because there’s no way to force it down. The muffins were rock hard and couldn’t really chew it. It was like very bland oatmeal just balled up but the danish was good. I love supporting small businesses but until this place get better, I can’t support it. Overall, you’re better off at Starbucks.

Avocado toast disappointing (like a canned guacamole) w hard boiled vs fried egg, only one drip offering for plain coffee (one bean, no pour overs or french press but) and wasn't very hot, quiche was good but not warm in the middle and all was expensive considering middling quality. Convenient location for us, nice interior but view outside from seating is dull.

Came here originally for the candles of kklume but the coffee is one of the best i ever had and the lady was service me called me sweetheart and was so nice to me the whole time ! I live far from this place but will definitely be back

In my opinion, if you aren’t going to enjoy something special about a coffee shop you may as well go to a mass chain like Dunkin, right? This place is that place worth going to. The environment is lovely, the owner and staff are authentic humans who clearly love the space they are creating. The vanilla latte is my favorite. We love to bring the dogs too!

Absolute gem. With all the bs in life, I come here whenever I feel blue/confused. You're lucky if you get to talk to the owner: kind, patient, knows exact your cup of coffee. TRY everything and thank me later. I am so very grateful I found this place.

Love this place so much and wish it was closer. I got the birthday cake latte and my husband got the lavender latte. I loved my husband's more! I definitely try to swing by this place any time I'm in the area. Worth it!

I ordered the sea salted caramel latte with oat milk and it's delicious! The place is modern, clean and there's lots of parking. I love the decor and music! I will absolutely be trying out different things on the menu

The PB&J muffin is absolutely great if you are a peanut butter fan. The nitro brew was also immensely creamy. Will absolutely be back.
