I will tell you this i last visited this sanctuary when i was 10years old but the way i can view myself inside the life of these legends.. i know in some other time a part of me has lived with the Zimbabweans of the Dzimbadzamabwe. i think i have mentally walked through the passage which gets narrow a thousand times, the ancient rough granite harmonising with my soul from my fingertips. This is a spectacular site with deep stories and ancient history. It's sad to see the damage done to it by early European explorers who also doubled up as treasure hunters. The site is preserved very well, it's kept clean and orderly but the tour services are lacking in quality and punctuality. The Great Zimbabwe Hotel is highly overrated, but does have the potential to rise up to better quality service. The location of the hotel inside the Monument area gives it a great advantage and must rise up to the challenge.

The depth of the architecture is such a mystery... The pple who built this were jus but genius. Wish they cld cover the history in more tru depth..... 😏

You never get enough of it. Historical sight worth a visit. Quite amazing how they they managed to build these structures without any modern machinery
