Tender Greens is a great place to drop in for a quick lunch or a hearty dinner. They have plenty of healthy options on their menu, including bowls, plates, drinks and even desserts. The restaurant has a cozy, casual atmosphere and is conveniently located in the heart of downtown.

Fresh food in a great atmosphere! The service was superb

I ordered 7 entrées and three side orders. I waited 30 minutes, and my food was ready, which it should've been ready sooner based on their website. The food was just disappointing and my salad was welted. We won't be ordering lunches for our office from this place anymore. Their carpet is absolutely gross and needs to be changed.

Asian salad is nothing like it used to be. Romaine stems instead of actual greens. Giant chunks of chicken instead of shreds. Terrible. These companies cut quality for profit. Please go out of business already.

Good food. Service was really good. Street meter parking in front & on side or pay a lot to park in lot next door. Staff was very attentive to us. Cashless so make sure you have a card. Person in front of us didn't. It's not a big deal.

This is a typical Tender Greens location. Food is tasty and moderately priced. Atmosphere is typical for a counter service type of restaurant. The chicken was overcooked but it took so long for our food to be prepared that I didn't send it back or we'd be there all night.

I ordered the "Blue Zone" saladish and was so excited about trying it and quickly became disappointed 😞 it didn't have the stuff it said it was supposed to have (from the menu). Sooooooo I'm not really sure what I had. The server was kind enough to bring over the one vege that I noticed was missing. I think this "salad" would've been a 5 if it was made the way it's supposed to, according to the menu. It looked really good on paper. I'm just not a fan of huge, leafy kale in my salad. I was charged $17 for a salad with NO MEAT! and this is not a restaurant 😒 😑 😐 🙄 😕 I was just really hungry and didn't have the energy to go elsewhere. PLEASE CHECK YOUR RECEIPT SO IT MATCHES THE PRICE ON THE MENU!! Lesson learned! Now that I'm looking at he picture, it's really pretty 😍 💕 I would go back here again, though, to other things on the menu 😀

The restaurant was clean and efficient. You see them slicing the protein and preparing every dish to order, while you wait your turn in line. We had the Thai with chicken, the chicken was nice and tender, and the seasoned. The rice and veggies that came with the dish were fresh, and the sauce had a bit of a kick to it. The fried chicken sandwich was not over battered. The bread and butter pickles added a nice dimension of flavor. Our drinks were fresh. Very friendly service aswell.

Fresh food and fast. I was excited to try this place for the first time. The selection were minimal, but the flavor packed a punch. The marinated steak was juice and prepared correctly. The salad was fresh and airy. The pesto sandwich was well composed

Great choice for a healthy meal! We had the “happy vegan” options, even if we topped one with salmon. Really tasty food and obviously healthy! The service was good and fairly quick. I’d definitely repeat for a healthy lunch!

Was in the mood for something healthier than the usual burgers for a quick eat and I thought it was delicious for food you got in a few minutes. We got the tuna which is usually served rare but I can’t have anything rare right now and so they were able to cook it more for me and it was awesome.

Sunday night, probably an event near by because it was very crowded and not enough personnel. Staff preparing the plates wore no masks, facial hair and singing-probably spitting all over the food-these people should wear masks, please! Otherwise, good was good but the no masks thing was s turn off😕

Second time visiting the area and I knew I had to visit this place again. Husband and I ordered two different dishes and we were both really satisfied with how fresh, delicious, and nicely presented the dishes were.

I've been ordering from this specific restaurant ever since I came to San Diego and they have never disappointed me. But, is the first time I've ever been to the actual restaurant and the ambiance is wonderful as well as the staff. Even though we came late and close to closing they still were very nice and very patient with us and we really appreciated it.

Update#2: Two out of two orders for lunch now have been correct and scrumptious. We order practically the same thing every time, so not a huge learning curve, but they have followed my allergy instructions (I wrote them in 3 languages, just in case) both times. Getting better, so I raised my rating to 4 stars. UPDATE: We decided to try again a week ago, and the order was right, but late. Looked like a whole new staff was learning the ropes. Maybe it'll start to improve. We're watching. When they get the order right, the food is delicious. Unfortunately, they have gotten our orders right about 20% of the time. I've let them know a few times, but it just keeps happening. We're done with this restaurant.

Very clean and extremely quick service for dinner. I got the Mediterranean steak salad and to my surprise the steak was cooked to perfection and honestly tasted really really good. Wish there were a few more toppings on the rest of the salad, but it was all fresh and tasted good.

It’s our first time here and we liked it. It’s just a walking distance from Westgate hotel. We got the grilled chicken Cobb and Chinese chicken. Instead of croutons they put toasted bread. My husband liked the bread but I don’t care for it. I’d rather have the croutons because there’s crunch and flavor to it. And you’ll need a knife to cut the greens a little smaller so it’s easier to eat. avocado toast and mint lemonade were good.

$4.50 for this amount of vegetables??? Are you serious? Get two stars because it tastes good, but you’ve lost my business.

Chicken was still raw. Not sure what’s been going on with this location. Previously orders were pretty quick and never had any food quality issues. I picked up this order and they had even forgotten to include one of the dishes.

This place is excellent. The quality of the food is what I most like. One negative is the higher prices but you pay for quality. Recommended

It was an easy, and healthy option for our family of 4, with two small kids. The kids plate was a very healthy portion and my kids enjoyed it. My husband and I both got steak with veggies and salads. It was a good portion. It's a little pricey for cafeteria style, but you're in downtown. It worked out great for us and the staff seemed to really enjoy their jobs. They were friendly and helpful.

Always fresh and tasty! Great service! The restaurant could be cleaner overall, but it is a downtown location.

I ordered a Harvest Salad. 4 pieces of blackberry halves, 1/2 Tsp of lemon ricotta cheese for $15 salad? For the grilled onion I only got some onion outer shell pieces which were really dry and rough. I don't recommend.

It was my first time at this chain and I’m disappointed. I ordered the “Happy” Vegan and this vegan is anything but happy. A place called “Tender Greens” and there are so few and extremely weak vegan options. You can go to a million places like this and get tofu, tempeh, beyond & impossible meat. Staff here is great but…a sad overpriced salad? Some soup? I couldn’t even order a bowl. Won’t be coming back unfortunately until they decide to add a simple vegan protein option to their menu. If you’re going to the trouble to add the word vegan to your menu then add a simple vegan protein. You’d actually get repeat plant based customers.

Had a delicious Cobb salad. My son in law had a steak, two sides for $13-14 dollars that was great, as well! Great price. Food was tasty & delicious. Place was super clean & cozy DTSD

Good stuff but pricey! Hey should increase the quantity of food a bit for the price charged but great quality!

12/10/2019 Dinner It’s a good place to have various vegetables and quick service. a little overpriced but the food is good. The staff is friendly and kind. However, I don’t like my tomato soup.
