Classic Sizzler restaurant, so not really a special place. We enjoyed it anyway because it had been a while going to one, as they've been closing locations in the last years. It took a very long time to be able to order even though there were only 2 groups ahead of us. My partner enjoyed her half salad (one trip to their famous salad bar). I liked my meal and the waiting service. Would go back.

Excellent place to enjoy lunch and dinner. Either if your by yourself or with family and friends 😊the food was excellent and the service was excellent, can't wait to come back and ooow yeah if u want to have a party there you.must call ahead of time and have them reserve the area for your guest. Amazing salad bar! I didn't get to take a picture of the first 2 salad plates because it was so good. Great value and quality food at a great price. Soups,pasta,fried chicken wings, tacos, nachos,pasta salads,build your own salad, prepaid salads,fruit salad,puddings, bread pudding,peach cobbler and soft serve ice cream 🍦. Service is great and very friendly. The best thing is the Key Lime Cheesecake pudding!!!!!!!!!!! We ate 3 bowls of it. Taste like your eating the frosting off of the best Cheesecake ever.

The food was great! We had the salad bar. Our server was Martha she was amazing. Everything thing was clean and the food was so fresh. We went on a Friday night, so you would expect a little mess. Nope, great service great atmosphere.

Sizzler is one of those comfort food places that's consistent and tasty. I was surprised to see there's only one of them in the entire San Diego county, since I'm used to seeing them often in LA. I came here for dinner because I was really craving the salad bar, and many places just don't have them anymore. All the ingredients were really fresh and the workers were constantly turning over the ones that were running out or needed to be changed out. There are so many different ways to make a salad which I love. They have a hot bar with chicken wings, stuff to make nachos or tacos, and spaghetti and soup. Let's not forget the cheese toast either, it was delicious and crispy. It's probably the main thing that keeps me coming back after so many years. They have dessert options including ice cream, peach cobbler, and a delightful bread pudding. The restaurant itself was busy but the workers were friendly and always checking in on the tables, including mine. I never felt neglected which was nice, this often happens when I dine alone. Overall it's a bit of a drive but so worth it.

It’s a good sizzlers but the manager got mad because I decided to give my baby 3 chicken nuggets. Offered to pay the salad bar price if it was an issue but he said it was fine. I don’t believe it was a huge issue to feed my 1 year old just 3 chicken nuggets. Then decided to “tap” our shoulders and walked away.

Great restaurant. Delicious food, good service. A nice place to take the family. They have a buffet salad bar again.

This has to be one of the best lunches I’ve had in awhile. Just when I gave up on Sizzlers this restaurant on Imperial Ave., reminded me why they were so good and popular when my dad use to bring me (RIP). We (our family) ordered two steak trios one with shrimp and the other with Malibu chicken, 2 salad bars and one chicken tenders meal. The steaks were cooked to perfection, the salad bar with its array of choices that included chicken wings a taco bar and soups was fresh and tasty. The garlic breads was never ending and to top it all off they had an ice cream station complete with toppings. Our server Belen kept the drinks coming and her anticipation of our needs did not disappoint. Belen welcomed us with a genuine smile and in the end invited us to come back. All in all if you want a great restaurant from the past and you love steaks, seafood, pasta, salads and sweets come and visit one of Americas awesome family restaurants Sizzlers Steak house, I know I will.

One my favorite chain restaurant since I was little. one of the cleanest sizzlers also wonderful taco bar. Great little staff.

I'm surprised I haven't reviewed this place before. It is a common go to place with my in-laws. If you like shrimp, you can get Shrimp, Shrimp, Shrimp! That's what mom in law, hubby and son ate until they were full. I rate this place as 5 because we've come here often enough that I don't want to base this rating on just today. My father in law had his steak order and then changed his mind after getting his steak to another steak (Sirloin tips), which he then said was too hard and chewy (see photo. Well done usually is more chewy). If he stuck to his original order, I think if he would have been happier. Usually he doesn't complain and enjoys the visit. He loved his salad which he made himself. Shrimp 🍤 🍤 is mini crispy, jumbo crispy and skewered shrimp, served with a bed if rice. My mother in law switched her rice to yams. I ordered all you can eat salad 🥗 😋 which includes the open bar not only salad, but also with nachos, Tacos, spaghetti, baked potato wedges, soups, all the trims of guacamole, sour cream, nacho cheese, fresh Pico de Gallo, and the soft serve section with toppings. If you like pudding, they have vanilla and chocolate. I'm sure I'm missing plenty they offer.... ($16.99 when u eat there). And I ordered a yummy baked potato. My drink of choice is Blueberry mint Lemonade. It's a large Lemonade which is not on the menu anymore, but they made it for me anyways. When I asked for a cup to go so I could empty out my remaining lemonade, they gave me a fresh order to go. They've done this for me at least 3 times before. The Cheese bread is really yummy, and I love this free item. Hope u give Sizzlers a chance. They have sports playing on three TV screens in the bigger dining hall. Great for families.

Daniel was our server, he did a fantastic job! Friendly, helpful, and continued to check on us. I enjoyed the Sea Bass and salad bar. Cooked well, salad was fresh with a lot choices. Miss having a Sizzler near us.

It was alright. I would normally give Sizzler 5 stars but this one naw. Our waitress was amazing. The food was not re filled and we literally paid for Banana Pudding and unlimited salad bar but everything was running out and I asked 3 people when we're they going to refill the food and they all just kept saying it's coming out. We waited the entire time we were there and it never happened. Messed up our fathers day dinner. Hopefully the next experience is better. I don't think the staff was ready for the Fathers day rush.

I love the food here and I enjoying to eat here services absolutely friendly everybody's working hard I have no trouble ordering my food and sitting down thanks guys

We went on Veterans day and as a Navy Veterans we got a complimentary steak, baked potato, cheese bread, and beverage and a free salad bar add on forbour next visit! It was by far the most pleasant meal that day due to it not being crowded and the staff was on top of it. Our meals came up perfectly done and Daniel our server brought cheese toast and kept refills flowing. And we were given cards thanking us for our service signed by the staff. Thank you Sizzler!

Food was good, not as modern as a lot of other recently remodeled sizzlers. Cashier didn't know what she was talking about, we asked for a 1 Trip salad bar and she said they didn't have that -- so we ordered one full salad bar and a "side salad", and then she handed is a salad bowl to do a 1 trip salad bar, and that's even what the receipt said it was. We would have ordered two 1 trip salads instead of over paying for one, because of that cashier.

It’s an average place to go eat. The food is nothing to write home about. However the service by the older employees is excellent. It’s the only reason I go back. Our servers are always nice & the manager is great.

This is a family restaurant. Good for kids. There are plenty of food options for children. Our server was very response and friendly. She brought out our requests quickly, i.e., extra napkins, more butter, additional refills, etc. She brought the entrees and everything was hot. First name begins with "C".

Super good. Great salad bar with some hot food there as well. Good selection. Best ranch dressing. 😂 Glad there's a sizzler around San Diego. Not sure if last location out here. Great staff. Good service. Genuine nice attitude.

So many Sizzlers are closing so its great to find one in the general area. My favorite-Malibu Chicken. And who can resist the cheese bread. It was busy but the ordering line went pretty fast. Staff was very friendly and prompt if we needed something. Hopefully, they will stay open.

(Ask for Martha) I am blown away by the great service that my husband and I received last night from our server Martha. It was our first time eating at Sizzler because we don't have any in Texas. When I tell you the level of customer service at this restaurant is amazing, believe it!! I am really big on customer service and especially the food. The food was delicious, the place was clean, and had plenty of options. As we were finishing dinner, we thanked our server Martha because she was amazing. She was kind, she offered us options, made sure our drinks were refilled, we had everything we needed and we didn't have to search for her. We mentioned we were celebrating our anniversary as we were finishing up our dinner and how special she made the experience. She then came back with a beautiful ice cream surprise with "Happy Anniversary" written in strawberry glaze. I was so honored that I cried. It was the sweetest thing ever! Ask for Martha when you visit Sizzler (Imperial Ave) San Diego. She will make your experience one you won't forget!!!

The service I had at sizzler today for lunch was outstanding due to the service that Martha did, she was amazing, friendly, kind, it’s wonderful to be at a good restaurant with employees that welcome their guests with good greetings and a wonderful smile, and that’s what Martha did today, thank you so much for serving me with amazing greetings
