This was a great restaurant to hang out in after a long day at the convention center. We'll lit and lots of tables. Easy menu and medium priced. Great atmosphere and solid music. Big plates and tasty food. Cool diffrent level of decorative themed areas. Great service and kid friendly. Highly recommended.

The Old Spaghetti Factory may be popular mainly for nostalgia, but it does have solid “Italian American” comfort food in a nice atmosphere and good service. The garlic bread is awesome, the spumoni with your meal is a great touch and all their pasta dishes hit the right notes. It’s not gourmet and you will likely have a lot of celebrations and loud parties around you, but in a way that’s what you should experience in a place like this and that’s comforting.

Been coming here over 10 years and it's Always a good time. Great for families, kids, large parties. Good sized portions and good food! Don't miss the broccoli with mizithra, only $6.99 for large and it's so good!

Food was very good, and our wait person was awesome! The Garlic Mizithra and my son's linguine were excellent. Only downside, and it was a big one was dirty utensils-- forks still had food stuck on them 😞

Was a nice place good food and even with a brand new waiter Spencer we all had a good time. Wait times are a bit long but thats due to Covid-19 restrictions. I was able to eat all the food on my plate so the portions are not huge or small. $20.00 for chicken parm. Environment is very nice has a old vintage feel. Spencer the waiter did a excellent job being that he is a newly trained waiter, thanks Spencer!

This is our 1st time at Old Spaghetti Factory and we loved it! The entire atmosphere is intimate with an old luxury vibes. Now let's get to the food. My wife's had the pasta with wine cream sauce and marinara with mushrooms. I enjoyed the classic lasagna which was delicious! They offer a 3 course soup salad option, entree and a scoop of ice cream for dessert. Jessie was professional and brought our meal out to us in style and fashion! This restaurant is located in the heart of the Gaslamp Quarter so there are tons of other places to check out

Nicely located in the Gaslamp District. The atmosphere is cozy and the service is nice and quick. The food is decent to good. Recommended if you want some pasta that won't break the bank.

Great location. We had a very attentive server even on a busy, busy night. Menu is limited with average portions. Bathrooms are upstairs in this location. Italian cream soda was the favorite of the night.

I've enjoyed the Old Spaghetti Factory for years, and this is one of the better stores in the chain. I love how they occasionally take beautiful classic buildings and elevate them, and this particular building is full of character and interest. The food is good if you like spaghetti, realizing that it's not for everyone. The service is always good and frequently excellent. On a recent visit, our server Alexander absolutely exceeded our expectations for professionalism, efficiency, and careful service. He flawlessly handled a complex 6-top with drinks, apps, and split checks. I'll go back as often as I can, when I continue to have experiences like that.

The first night we tried to dine here, we were told that we had to make reservations to avoid a long wait. We figured the food must be good and were excited to visit the next day. We were wrong! It's nasty! We could have visited the Olive Garden for better food and half the price. I ordered the cheese bread as an appetizer and the Garlic Shrimp Fettuccine as my meal. The Fettuccine was horrible; it was dry and the shrimp were overcooked and tasted rubbery. I posted a photo, but don't let it fool you; that Fettuccine looked good but was definitely nasty! The cheese bread was delicious.

The food was decent, service was efficient. The building is really cool and there’s a loft bar/lounge that is probably the most interesting thing about this location. There are fewer options than Olive Garden, seems less fatty and individual portions are also cheaper. I wouldn’t go back here necessarily as don’t think the food is worth a revisit. We were there on a random Saturday afternoon at 3:30 and had to wait 45 minutes for a table for two!

#Gordon Ramsay should help this place. Chief what do you say. This could be good, but boxed noodles..... at least that's my take. Sauce less than Prego.

I could eat bushels of mizithra with brown butter. I absolutely love that dish and usually order the hearty size with extra cheese (my doc now knows why I might have high cholesterol). The salad here looks like bagged iceberg lettuce…meh. The bread is great (but who needs those carbs when you have pasta covered in butter and mizithra?!) This location is great, and it has high capacity and can accommodate large groups. Parking nearby can be a challenge. The big bummer with my last visit here is that the restaurant smelled like a dirty clean. Almost like the deodorant pucks in a urinal. It really detracted from the food. Hopefully that was a one off event.

The service is excellent! This is a great place if you have a big family. They have large tables (10- 12 is hard to find at other places) The food was delicious, the bread, the salad with creamy pesto (the best). Main dishes were good, only thing that the chicken picata was a bit salty. Overall it is a great place. Definitely will come back!

Visited Old Spaghetti 🍝 Factory with my family. Great location. Make sure you reserve ahead, the system works. Walk-ins that evening we're being told 45min, while we just waited about 5 minutes.

Came here on Valentine's day dinner. It was a mistake. We had reservations at 7:45 but still had to wait for 25 min before we could be seated. The staffs were very nice and apologetic. The food was ok. It reminded me of food from Applebee's. The calamari was fresh though! And I do appreciate them not adding so much salt in the dishes.

We always go here during comic con because they always seat us relatively quickly, the food is always good, and the service is always quick. On a busy weekend like comic con many restaurants can struggle to keep up (I've been to many that take a LONG time) but the Old Spaghetti Factory is always quick with the food. I like that many of the meals come with salad and dessert so you get a whole meal without having to think about it too hard. They also have plenty of wine and beer options.

Make sure to arrive a little early as they don't take reservations and walk ins have wait. We had our food comped as it took super long for them to bring our dinner but it was delicious. The service was also great!

Great ambiance and delicious food. My whole family really enjoys the 3 course meal. It is very affordable and at a great location. You may just want to check on the Padres schedule as it is only a couple of blocks from Petco park and parking can get difficult/expensive.

I’ve been going to this OSF since the 70’s and it’s so wonderful. The food is delicious. The atmosphere is divine. I love the chandeliers and details of the decor. It’s truly in the heart of gaslamp district of downtown and a great place for any occasion and definitely for special ones. This happened to be for my birthday.

Food and service were both fine, but nothing exciting. If you like good quality Italian food, they are worth checking out. I was a little disappointed that the Spumoni ice cream came out melted for everyone in the party. It was literally puddling up in the bowl. Otherwise my pasta dish was very tasty.

I have always enjoyed going to spaghetti factory. I've been going to spaghetti factory since I was a teenager. Given the choice between Olive garden and spaghetti factory my mom always preferred spaghetti factory because of the downtown atmosphere and after we ate we would go for a walk in downtown. My wife also likes spaghetti factory. However this time was a little bit of a disappointment. The thing that always got my interest about spaghetti factory was the fact that it was affordable and it was still very good. That is the case now the food portions are a little smaller for children because my 7-year-old had to go through through two plates of spaghetti the satisfying so and he doesn't really eat much to begin with Also the prices on the other entrees have gone up as well not like by a dollar or two dollars but much more. The one good thing is right now is due to the pandemic the wait time doesn't seem to be as long or rather we came in in a very lucky day.

Manager's Favorite comes with a side salad (I polluted mine with lots of black pepper and some parmesan cheese), I chose angel hair pasta with Mizithra and meat sauce, lovely bread with garlic butter, and delicious spumoni ice cream (pictured half eaten). Great meal for a great price!! We longed for their Garlic Shrimp appetizer which they no longer have. Please return it to your menu 🙏

Had chicken marsela, it so so tough I couldn't eat it. Waiter said they've had complaints about it. I told them they need to beat the meat to make it tender but I don't think he knew what I was talking about or just didn't care. The noodles were really good with some cheesy sauce in it. Still had to pay for it too! Got a side of meatballs. They came with no sauce, had to pay $1.50 for sauce!!! Who puts out a dry meatball? Unheard of in my neck of the country!!! Husband had chicken parmesan. He said it was good. Bread was really good. Don't think I would do it again unless they fix the meat issue.

The food was alright and the hostess was funny and personable however the waitress was almost non-existent, drinks if they got refilled took forever, she didn't even get our drink order in til 10 minutes after being seated

Still the same great atmosphere and food as 10years ago. Recommend making dinner reservations ahead of time

We had a nice dinner here. Our party of 4 had a variety of dishes and everyone enjoyed their meals. The service was prompt and pleasant. As a whole, it was a good experience. I gave the food a 4 only because it wasn't outstanding, but it was good, and I had nothing to complain about. I would certainly recommend the restaurant and eat here again.

This was my first experience eating at an old Spaghetti factory; I definitely enjoyed the atmosphere of this location, all of staff was wonderful, and they accommodated us very quickly even without a reservation. That being said, the food quality was good and you get a nice sized portion but, it was definitely lacking in flavor. I had the spaghetti with meatballs and it just tasted quite bland honestly, I was a bit disappointed. In the end, I was happy with the overall experience and would return to perhaps try another dish.

We came in with a boisterous party of 22 and the staff who waited on us were so kind, fun, and took everything in stride. They were absolutely amazing. I didn’t get our main waitress’ name, but she made my night. She’s hilarious, super fun, and was incredibly understanding of any discrepancy/took everything in stride (we had some big personalities in our party. Thank you to everyone! You rock and you’re doing amazing!

Excellent food as expected. Craving pasta after the Padre game and this was within walking distance from the ballpark. Forgot to take a photo of the Meat lovers dish bit I did take one of the salad!
