Fresh very well prepared seafood in a very casual setting with great view over the marina/bay. Food served in paper containers hot and delicious. Nothing fancy just excellent seafood done well. Portions are generous providing an amazing value for the money. The selection from the huge display cases pretty much covers any seafood that you may want. Looks like the seafood is all processed for cooking on site adding to the freshness. Always stop here for a meal when in town.

Regular Cod Fish platter is really really good...the soft crab sandwich was a miss for us though. The food is priced fair (around $16 for fish, fries and cole slaw) with a casual atmosphere and cool views. Would definitely recommend the place if you're in the mood for seafood. Sit upstairs or right by the water for the best views.

Came highly recommended and it delivered! Freshest seafood, great customer service, indoor/outdoor seating with beautiful views. Now, I can recommend Point Loma Seafoods. Enjou!

Always one of my favorites. I’ve been coming here since the 80s and I love it. I usually get the calamari sandwich which is served on sourdough bread with their famous tartar sauce. The strips are very large but tender, not chewy and very flavorful, I love it. They have a good selection of beer and everybody is very nice. their smoked fish is always good and they have a ton of fresh fish to choose from. You can get live lobsters and crabs and now they have a sushi station. There are also a few items to buy for cooking your fish like spices and such. It’s usually busy during lunch but you can always find a place to sit down.

Great location overlooking the water views. Lots of outdoor seatings on the terrace and upstairs seating where you can enjoy having fresh seafood and enjoy the bay views. They can make your seafood right there and you can eat it hot and fresh off the grill. I tried their clam chowder and it was good. Very unique place to have lunch or dinner and they have free parking.

One might think I only rate 5 stars but that’s because I love eating so much that I research nearly every meal I eat when I’m out of town. While in town for work I ate here and since I’m a guy that knows what he loves, I didn’t really get to explorre the menu. Both times I had the spicy swordfish sandwich with fries. Without hyperbole, this is the best fish sandwich I’ve ever had. The swordfish was fried in little chunks and mixed with hot and tarter sauce then put on sourdough bread. It wasn’t much to look at but man oh man was it tasty. Definitely worth a stop!

We’ve been coming here for a bit now and have tried a number of things but our go to is always their fish sandwich! It’s simple (sourdough, fried fish, and tartar sauce) but tastes delicious! Ever since covid hit (could be a coincidence), the marketplace is smelling more and more fishy. Typically fresh fish doesn’t have that type of smell. I could be wrong though. The outside seating by the docks absolutely makes up for it though. Try to grab a seat upstairs by the edge and it’ll be a perfect setting. Oh we also love their fries as well! Parking is limited but there is usually a person working in the lot to signal you to an open spot. Pro tip, don’t go fully into their parking space yet, stay outside where the fold out sign is. This way you’ll be able to nab parking for people who parked close to the entrance.

Nice setup and very friendly staff. Great to have the option for fresh to go or cooked seafood. I ordered a half dozen raw oysters and the combo plate with cod, shrimp and crab cake. Disappointed in the size of the oysters...teeny tiny and had a dirt-like after taste. I'll take a Chesapeake Bay oyster over these any day of the week. The fish and chips within the combo were excellent. The cole slaw had a hint of bell peppers which really added to the flavor. The fried shrimp was OK and the crab cake had more additives than crab. Again, Maryland sets the standard for crab cakes. Overall, the meal was good but not the best. However, The premium view overlooking the harbour was a pleasant bonus and added to a relaxing meal.

Great view from the upstairs seating area. The food is very good. Pictured is the clam chowder bowl with the white clam chowder. The seafood cocktail is with the large shrimp tails.

The seafood is fresh and deliciously cooked. We ordered a cup of clam chowder, sushi, and oysters. All of the dishes were also very nicely arranged, I didn't snap pictures of our order because we were so hungry. >_< They have additional seating upstairs, the back side of the building closest to the water, and the view is very serene and calm. It's definitely worth the price, and we look forward to future visits when we are in the area. Thank you very much for the great experience. ^,^

Seafood market and restaurant where you can order your meal with any individuals behind the counter. If you want only sushi, you can go straight to the sushi section and pick up the freshly made sushi rolls. All were super fresh and there were plenty of tables to enjoy your meals.

Busy but quick. Went for dining. Had a freshly prepared quality meal in ample portion. Always fun to sit outside by the docks. Overall clean and enjoyable experience.

Food - 4.5 Vibe - 4 Service - 4.5 Price - 4 Seafood by the sea shore. What you want in a fish market, incredible fish with an even cooler market experience. Make sure you sit up on the roof to see the breathe taking view of the Marina.

Good fresh seafood. I enjoyed all the food but wish the lobster roll was just hot lobster and butter on a roll, it was lobster salad on a deli roll and a little disappointing. The scallops with lemon and dipping sauce were great, shrimp cocktail was good but the cocktail sauce was a little weird not traditional cocktail sauce. Onion rings and fries were average nothing special. Crab cakes were average. Beer was good.

My wife and I always make a point to visit this seafood shop when we are in the area! The fish sandwich and clam chowder are always great. The dining area has nice calming views of the bay. Also you can buy fresh fish here, I just don’t have experience with that.

I’ve been three times and each time is as good as the last. The food is so fresh and any sandwich is a good choice. It’s open seating outside and upstairs at picnic tables which is very nice. Great view of the water.

It is a bit of waiting there. But you can seat outside and enjoy the Harbourfront view when waiting for your food. They will call when your food is ready. Spent around $100 for 2 people. Hight recommended the seafood tacos.

I was told this is a must visit when you're in San Diego. I got the crab sandwich - I was not overly impressed it was good but not amazing. The line was out the door so I would definitely try for yourself. The claim chowder was good and my group also got fish and chips.

Had fish tacos, coleslaw, onion rings and French fries. Fish was just warm and very firm which made me think it had been cooked and sitting under warmer for a while. Coleslaw was not fresh tasting either😪. Quantity of food was a lot - could have shared one serving. So sadly - would not go back and if I did - definitely would get something different!

Earlier in the day, we had a guided e-bike tour and our tour guide recommended this place. He tried to describe it as best he could but I wasn’t getting it totally. So arriving at a fish market and ordering at the counter was a bit of a surprise. That said, the food was great and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience of dining outside on a park bench enjoying our food. We would definitely return.

A very nice establishment.. very fresh fish market and good food bayside. Have to come back for the smoked salmon. Wish management would allow for "tips" for the servers on electronic payment, I ended up pulling out cash and gave it that way. All in all, you should visit this place.

Super expensive -$35 lobster sandwich drenched in mayonnaise. Very bland and dry bun. Soft shell crab sandwich was edible but would not recommend. Clam chowder bread bowl, tasteless, bowl was nothing spectacular. Could have been toasted better, get a nice crunch to it but too soft. Overall would not recommend this place. Very much "tourist" trap, for sure!

Some friends that have family in the area told us about this place and they were NOT wrong. It’s a seafood market that also serves food from a menu. As a tourist it was great to see a lot of the fresh fish in the displays and be able to order some of it to eat. As a local (which I’m not) I would be buying all of my seafood from here. Order a couple of plates and sit outside and raw dog some fresh air, watch the boats and enjoy the great food.

A little on the pricey side but you get what you pay for. The fish in the fish tacos tasted fresh and not previously frozen. Huge portions of fish. The 2 taco combo and a draft beer set me back about $27 but again the taste and freshness make up for the price tag.

Fish sandwich and clam chowder. Chowder was good, the view was good. Time to get food was ok, understanding that it was very busy. Parking lot was not worth the long line of cars going in, so parked a few blocks away and walked in. My main dish was the fish sandwich. Disappointed in the sandwich. Fish was dry and I had to add a lot of tartar sauce. It didn't come with much on the sandwich, mainly fish ( good quantity of fish) but very sparse on any sauce. This I had to add a lot since so dry. My friend had the crab sandwich for market price $25, and he said not worth it. It wasn't anything special.

Loved this seafood market so much! The service is great, lots of friendly people and a great selection. I regret not coming home with some of the jerky, so i'll have to be back. We came in on a Tuesday, and it was pretty busy. Great location just minutes from the airport.
