A really good hotel at a good location. The rooms are nice, clean and comfortable, just need some renovation and maintenance now. All the staff is very friendly and attentive. At all a perfect service. The breakfast at the hotel is really great, better than many other hotels. The pool is clean and beautiful decorated. If I need a accommodation in Chumphon, I will definitely come back.

Nice location but disgusting reception. Don’t expect they ( women ) could give you useful help, they only care about money money money. When I seeking help they only showing cheap looks and fake smile but gave nothing help. I met so many nice local people when I traveling around the whole Thailand , I love this country but I was really disgusted by the reception of this hotel. The hotel next to a market , can buy many fruits. Easy to get foods as well. 3mins to 7-11 nearby. 10mins walk to the night market. But I DON’T recommended it unless you like to come here for getting angry.

A nice little inner city hotel. It is well decorated, with a nice pool. Pro: * The price is very reasonable. * Plenty of parking places. * Nice bed, good AC. * Nice and wise balcony Con: * The firm pillow is really firm. * Soft pillow is about a third of the size of the big one. * The curtain doesn't block any light so, very bright in early morning. * The elevator is way in the back. * Need a chair instead of stools for real work. Overall very good value, about $30/night.

Great hotel with friendly staff and clean rooms. But the best part is definitely the Cube Diving bar just on the premise. It looks like a small stand at first, but it serves Japanese alcohol and has great video games and board games. And of course, the best owner in the world. If you need anything, from information to help with your train, he's the man for you.

Stayed here for a night and had a lovely time. The reception and the breakfast staff were especially friendly and attentive - they really helped put us in a good mood alongside the beautiful coffees which were lovingly made. Room itself was clean, air con good and showers decent power. Thanks :)

Originally we planned to stay at Novotel for 3 nights but changed our mind and stayed at A-Te hotel on the 3rd night instead. Everything here (room, decor, services, staffs' hospitality, the quietness, etc...) exceeded our expectation. We really enjoyed staying here. :-)

Most important for me: bed not hard as rock > check Quiet > check Location > very good to walk Pool > not cold - open until 10 Full 10/10 so far Staff is great ... especially at breakfast... which itself is good as well So we are at 12/10 now.... Negative: - booked a balcony room to smoke outside. Not allowed... if i knew before i could have saved that extra money... - massage was advertised on website but not available ( within 5-10 mins walking distance other options given ) - slightly odd smell when opening room door So i would say 8-9 / 10 Close to 5 stars..... it will stay on my list. I doubt there is a better place inside city.....

During my 1-night stay at this hotel, the front desk staff who were two mid-aged women with poke faces all the way unbelievably showed me what was the meanings of unprofessional, unhelpful, mean, arrogance and impolite. I reserved a room with balcony in advance, however when check-in they arranged me the wrong room type and refused to check the booking letter I received. Furthermore they pushed me to pay extra to get what I already booked. They persisted all were my own problems, nothing wrong or matters with themselves at a terrible attitude of being cold-to-death, and then left me over there in the awkward situation of “up-to-you”. If I could have known this was what would happen on me, I would never consider stay at this place for even a second, not to speak a night! Really hope this is just an occasional individual case and good lucks for those still wanna try their lucks at this hotel.

Nicest place to stay in Chumphon downtown. Beautiful room and environment (little bit old though). Nice staff, good services. Delicious local food for breakfast

This hotel is a bit older but well maintained and located in town instead of at the beach. We wanted the town experience and we loved the location. The room was very clean and fairly spacious. The amenities were nice. They provide room service until 2 pm but they have a small restaurant open through dinner time. Our breakfast was included with the room and it was very good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They do speak some English.

First of all, the staff is fantastic. So friendly and helpful in all possible ways. The rooms are quite old, which is fine but there is some kind of strange smell. There is a high noise during the whole night from the ventilation or something so this is no place for light sleepers. The beds are extremely hard and do ask for a softer pillow. Location is OK, a 15 minute walk from the train station.

Friendly service and really good breakfast. The gentleman making the coffee and drinks was truly passionate about his job! The main downside of the hotel is the bad insulation of the rooms and walls. People walking in the hallway are as loud as if they would be inside your room. Doors shutting are incredibly noisy and the elevator makes a sound each time it stops on your floor. Pretty much impossible to sleep unfortunately. The condition of the room was good but a bit dated. The location is pretty good. 10 minutes walk to the night market. 15 minutes walk to the train station. Local neighborhood and safe area even at night.

Good rooms with everything you need. Also a swimming pool and fitness room. And breakfast was very good. With a lot of different food, and a coffee machine where they make fresh coffee for you (more than also not a problem 😉👍)!

Terribly managed hotel, dirty sheets and smelly shower, we would have changed the hotel if we had to stay longer, but one night was enough for us in this terrible place

Room : A bit old but as clean as it is. Spring mattress is uncomfortable for me. Service : Friendly, helpful and active Breakfast : Beyond expectation at this room rate. Full line-up with local Thai curry, Thai side dishes, American breakfast, Fruits and Salad. I tried them all! Tasty! Above all, food could be served at warmer temperature. (-1 star for this point) By the way, this is the first hotel serving latte art for hot drink. ☺️ Quite impressive. Don't judge the book its cover :) This hotel is a good choice for a quick sleep, spending a night in town.

I had a great experience at this hotel. I arrived later than expected due to a delayed train, this however was no problem. Upon arrival, I was greeted by name and the staff even helped with ordering food from a delicious Thai restaurant and helped me with a bus transfer to the ferry to Koh Tao. The room looked good, clean, and reliable. Breakfast was great as well with both Thai as Continental options and the service was passionate, especially Guidé did a great job at making for a nice breakfast experience. I could only recommend this hotel!

This hotel was a fantastic choice for an overnight stay. The rooms are clean, modern and we'll appointed. The service in all areas was excellent. I was very surprised by the most excellent buffet breakfast with a large choice of both Thai and Western food choices...I did not expect such a great selection of food, included in the room price. My omelette was perfectly prepared but even better was the staff service at breakfast. I left the hotel very satisfied and with a big smile. A very lucky find especially for the price and would certainly stay again without question. Highly recommended.

It’s acceptable in general comparing to the price. I stayed on the 4th floor and there is sound like machine-run at low frequency all night. Not recommend for those who has difficulty to fell asleep. If it happens to have to stay here, request for a lower floor.

As of Feb 2022, the hotel condition are not as describe in those old photo. The hotel are very old, unclean. The bedroom linen were so moist, the hallway are filled with black dot, floor got black strained. Breakfast area looks unclean garbage smell come through due to the waste disposal area of the hotel is just behind the breakfast area. I put this review on Agoda but it just disappeared.

A decent choice to stop by from a long haul traveling. They provide good breakfast and fresh coffee. Friendly service from staff in breakfast area. It is near hospital and 7/11. If you want to offer breakfast to monks in the morning, there is spot in front of the hospital with foods stalls ready. Area to improve : I think the bed sheet could be cleaner when I was stayed.

😠 Avoid this hotel at all cost, especially if you own an expensive camera. My camera was stolen there by someone who worked there.Arrogant, unhelpful staff who tried to charge me 70 baht for the same glass that caused me an injury (they claimed they didn't have any plaster coz they didn't have a med...
