Perfect spot to take in the cityscape. You can also view the sunrise from here at certain points of the year and the sunset reflects off the buildings and the water making it a beautiful scene. Definitely stop on your walk around the trail and if you’re feeling adventurous go at night for an awesome view of the city lit up.

Amazing spot which has to be experienced by actually being there! It gives you an amazing sight and on a perfectly clear sky day the view looks amazing with the floating clouds, the tall buildings, Clear blue sky, the reflection from the water is just perfect! It’s easy to reach the spot and they have seating areas all around the place. If you come to Zilker Park don’t miss this gem. It may get crowded depending upon the time or day you visit. It connects to trails which you can cycle or walk along! Tons of people go kayaking from here and there are many walkers, runners and cyclists who go along the trail that connects to this point.

We stumbled upon this park and we were stunned. It is very pleasant and Lou Neff Point was beautiful! The gazebo was stunning. We took photos with the Austin skyline behind us. We walked down the path along the river, along the banks of the river and discover a couple turtles. As we watched, the turtles keep swimming up. There were easily 30 turtles, with more coming as we left. Highly recommend to tourists and to natives who haven't been.

View from the side to the downtown. It is a spot next to the trail that is quite busy by people jogging or running or just having a nice walk. Parking is limited and not close to this place. Loved the view and probably will be back again for a hike.

Beautiful view of austin skyline along with River. Trail is great for walking or bike. Great view during fall time in November or during night with city lights.

Great spot to drop into the lake! it was very crowded and we had to wait in a line on a saturday, but still was the best place to get in that we saw along the trail

Can get very busy with joggers and cyclists, would be nice if people could take their litter home rather than throw it over the wall (is it really that difficult?) There are some good views across the river to downtown Austin and some of the bridges. Water fountain is available for you and your pets.

Seriously beautiful views across the river. Came at night and had no troubles parking at all, but do watch out for the mosquitoes!

Busy? Yes This was pretty, though. People playing volleyball, soccer and picnicking. I went on a warm spring Sunday afternoon and it was very busy. So not a time for solitude and quiet but it didn’t mess up the view.

The nice contrast between nature and the city. The view is stunning.

Great view of Austin downtown skyline. It's always busy. There's a trail for walking or biking. There's a huge garden to make a picnic out of the day. In summers, the river will be full of people paddle boarding, kayaking or just sitting right there and having lunch. 10/10 would recommend to visit any season.

This point is along a walking/bike path with nice views of downtown. Viewing area through the trees is not huge so hard to get pictures if folks are fishing, but nice shady place.

Just a nice small place to sit and see the sky line or people watch. Clean and Comfortable

It's nice to go for a walk. It's a bonus to have a panoramic view of Austin. However, there are no street lights, so be careful at night.
