Interesting and pretty scenery. Rather buy souvenirs at any of the many tourist offices, got ripped off in Cilaos. Be brave and drive yourself on the 420 turn road. Forests are relatively unspoilt. Trails difficult to make sense of, but enjoyed it anyway. Beautiful indigenous flora, not so much on the fauna.
