The Greek Nachos are the must-try here and the dish that will keep bringing me back. The dogs are all decent, with the Gyro Dog and Bier Cheese dogs being the best of the bunch - definitely recommend giving them a try. The Nasty Nati burger is intriguing, but a bit much.

Good food at good prices, with nice portion sizes and friendly staff. My Gyro was excellent but I don’t think my fries were completely cooked. Overall definitely worth checking out and I’ll go back.

Chicago Gyro is one of my favorite places in the Clifton area. They never disappoint me and always have great things to say about it! Yesterday I decided to pop by and grab dinner. It was extremely subpar. Got the chicken back ranch pita and had 90% of it being chicken with little to no toppings plus the fries were extremely undercooked. And of course I felt horrible to complain but their customer service was amazing. Whoever I talked to on the phone gave me a food credit for today’s meal and it was perfect! No clue why that happened yesterday but maybe it was because it was an hour before closing. Almost lost me as a customer but I can’t stay unhappy for long with their staff!

Closed hours early as many have mentioned. My husband and I were passing through on a very long road trip and had read the great reviews about the gyros here. I had seen complaints of them closing early, but just as some others also mentioned, when I called an hour ahead of time to check, I got only a message that the voicemail has not been set up. They do not have a working phone line to reach someone. It is sort of hard to see for yourself how great the food is when the restaurant closes over 2 hours before they say they do. We arrived to see several workers inside, but the door was locked and one motioned to me that they were closed. Clearly this is not a one-time problem, since I did read about this issue in other reviews. Update your hours, post something on your site, or have a WORKING phone line!

It's really disappointing. The meat is excessively salty, tasteless, and seems to be packed with chemicals. There are almost no spices except for salt. It feels like a frozen meat skewer. If you're seeking an authentic kebab, shawarma, or gyro, I would recommend looking elsewhere. My pita had hardly any tomatoes, white onions, instead of red onions, no salad, and the sauce was almost non-existent. I'm really let down by this place. If you're unfamiliar with gyro, kebab, or shawarma, you might find it okay. But if you know and love these dishes, you'll likely be disappointed by this place. The only good point is that they give you a lot of french fries and they are good.

Excellent food and great service A must try if you've never been ...do it Lots of meat on the Gyro and a great Chicago Dog... French fries are super tasty as they have a crispy coating.

Great food. Clean dining room. Polite employees. The gyro size has diminished a lot from what it was in the 1990s. The sauce has improved tremendously. It’s worth visiting if you’re in Clifton.

Great atmosphere and amazing food. I am a huge fan of food from Chicago and this place delivers it to the tri-state! I was skeptical at first, but went and got the Italian beef sandwich and it was as good as it is in Chicago. The staff is so friendly and the place was spotless. Quick service and the prices are great. It is a must try if you like the truest taste of Chicago foods without the drive!!!

It is totally 110% definitely okay food. I've had a few meals here over the years and never once been unhappy but also never really been through, the meat on its own doesn't really have much flavor, but tzatziki sauce is good, but doesn't set it apart from anywhere else. Prices are right food comes out quick, you can do worse.

This place is the home of my second favorite cheeseburger in Cincinnati. The fries have this awesome seasoning on them that makes you just keep eating them even after you're full. #STOPHERE

On a very busy game day (both bearcats and Bengals) we received fast and friendly service. Had a very good gyro and fries. Will definitely be back!

I brought a gyros combo and I told them no sauce what did they do put sauce on it and the fries was burnt. The lady told me to bring it back in and they will replace my order up to 75%. I told her I live in springdale and she said okay so I said I won't be able to get back out that way till a couple of weeks and she said okay so that means they will take that food back that I had in 2 weeks so that is telling me that they are dirty and I won't be back. They so greedy for money that they won't make it right. Shame on you Chicago Gyros in Clifton.

I've visited this location several times the food is always scrumptious. My fiance and I dined in. The only problem I had was it was really drafty. If it had been warmer we would have stayed longer and had dessert. Besides that I've never had a better Gyro and the Hot Dogs are amazing as well.

Went as a birthday outing for a great friend. The gyros were top notch and I made the mistake of getting extra meat, cause they absolutely load the gyros with meat. Was fairly impressed by the Chicago dog, it was better than the dogs I got at Comiskey Park(ugh Guaranteed rate field) in Chicago very authentic. Everyone was pleased with their food and plenty of good tasting French fries. The only hiccup is the Baklava it was not very good, especially since they microwaved them. Overall will definitely go back to try more food especially gonna try their Italian beef.

I wasn't too sure what my thoughts on this restaurant would be but I was honestly surprised by how good it was I would definitely go back for the fries alone but my Gyro was delicious too. The only mild complaint was my Gyro had too much sauce on it to the point where it became difficult to eat but that's not much of an issue.

Went to this place to get a Chicago style hotdog. First time going the hot dogs were soaked in to much relish. So I went back and decided I’ll get all the stuff on the side. The lady at the counter told me NO! I’m sorry you do what the customer wants to be done. Very rude experience. Will take my and others business somewhere else.

Excellent food and place to people watch while dining. Due to the location, you can see quite a diverse crowd. Food is priced right, great flavor and reminds me of living in Chicagoland area. Probably very busy once UC student come back and after sporting events. Will visit again soon!!

Italian combo is a bombbb, try it if you never order it!!! I ordered Chicago style too, and I don't like it much honestly... maybe because it was a delivery order? Might give it a try again someday.

Best french fries in Cincinnati !!! Servers were nice both times we went. Because let me tell you, those fries were so good we went back the next day for lunch! The gyro was delicious and the Chicago style hot dog was my first of it's kind and I was not upset ❤️
