We celebrated an 18th birthday party at the Whirled Cinema. From start to finish, Mike was amazingly helpful and responsive, going the extra mile to accommodate any requests. We were able to visit the venue following the booking and test things like the sound system, which was recently updated and is brilliant. The lighting has various effects, which helped create a club like ambience our son wanted. On the night the bar staff and security were brilliant. The venue is a great choice and we would highly recommend.

I ❤️ this independent cinema. It is glamorous in a railway arch! It has a great programme of interesting films. There's always a warm, friendly welcome. Plus you can hire the venue for private events

What an amazing place, wish I'd come sooner. For an indie venue in a train arch, it really exceeded my expectations of projection and sound quality, comfort and overall experience. It's a wonderfully intimate space that fully immerses you in the film and the occasional rumble of trains overhead is pleasantly atmospheric. Whirled offers an excellent selection of mainstream and international films, clearly curated with love and expertise. It's also surprisingly good value and even non members can currently buy a ticket that allows entry for the whole week!

I hosted an engagement party here in September 2023. We put on a showing of Mamma Mia, and invited around 60 family and friends. The night was unforgettable and everything we had hoped it would be, and more. Mike and his team were amazing in helping to organise this event - down to small details like putting up graphics on the screens in the cinema, which were in keeping with our theme. You showed no judgement when one of them was a picture of two capaybaras kissing lol. I also really appreciated the effort that Mike took before the event - which included inviting me round to the venue the week before so that I could see how everything works. The place is also incredible - a brilliant size, comfortable and has a great atmosphere. The bar is well stocked - reasonably priced, and with a great selection of drinks. Thanks again to Mike and his team - an unforgettable evening that our family and friends will remember for a long time.

Amazing. I thoroughly recommend this venue. Great facility with good beer and amazing staff. We had an awesome time.

Joined last week after coming to a great ‘Do more Movement’ film event here. Went to see first film there tonight and had a really good experience. Lovely friendly staff and a fantastic film. A footstool or two could be added to make it the ultimate experience!!

This weekend I hosted a surprise birthday party at the cinema which was just fantastic. A really superb venue to hire out for fun dancing & nice drinks. The space is great, feels really like it's yours for the night and there's plenty of room for chatting and catching up as well as all the dance floor moves. The bar team were great and the manager couldn't have been more helpful in terms of support to organise the logistics in advance. Would highly recommend.
