I had just an amazing treatment with Pablo. It was a lot more than a usual massage. He really feels the body and I felt is like a synchrony movement that not just heals muscles and tissues but also energetic body. All the techniques and details that are part of these treatment were really a medicine for me. I come to Pablo after Volcano hike, was very tired physically and mentally but after the treatment i felt very energised, grounded and embodied … Pablo is really a gift and his work touched me profoundly. The only bad thing about it is that I discovered this place past day in Guatemala.

My massage treatment with Pablo was absolutely amazing! He came to my hotel room and did a wonderful job explaining how the treatment works, and the different approaches and techniques he used. It was my first experience having a treatment of this type, and Pablo made sure I was totally comfortable and at ease, and understood what was happening. The massage treatment was amazing, easily the best I've ever had, and I was so relaxed I'm sure I fell asleep at one point! Pablo spent much longer than the two hours I expected, it was such a different experience to other massages where it feels rushed with the therapist always checking the clock. Pablo really cares about ensuring you have the best possible experience. The new spa sounds behind incredible and I would return for that alone when it's finished! Pablo and Marcela gave my wife and I the best massages of our entire lives. We were in desperate need of a massage and alignment after hiking Acatenango overnight. Our entire bodies were sore all over but our spirits were high from the experience. We had a mixture of treatments ranging from deep tissue and hot stones to aromatherapy. It felt like we were floating above the table and in the deepest state of relaxation and meditation and our aches and pains melted like butter.

We had planned and booked our massages more than a week in advance as we knew we’d be sore after climbing Acatenango the day before. From the reviews, it sounded like it was going to be just what we needed instead of all the bells and whistles of a hotel spa. We had originally booked two-hour massages for two at 9 am. When we arrived, we first drove right passed it, as the gate was not open and the sign was a bit inconspicuous. Once we realized we were at the right place, we waited in front of the gate wondering what to do for a few minutes before someone came to attend to us. When we entered, we were told that one of the therapists was ill and unavailable. We were notified via the Google maps messenger the night before around 7:30 pm but did not see the message until after we arrived. No one had asked in our previous communication for a phone number or a way to get a hold of us less than 24 hours before the appointment. Poor communication aside, folks get sick, and these things happen, but we were now in a situation where one of us would have to wait while the other received treatment. We agreed that we would just do one-hour massages back to back. Since I’d be waiting an hour, I was hoping someone would offer a tea or at least some water, but I sat there with nothing and just got a bunch of mosquito bites. The person who received the massage first said that the pressure applied was weak. Worse yet, the therapist worked on their whole body and feet, then proceeded to work on their face last without washing their hands in between, which feels a bit unprofessional. I chose not to get my massage, and we left. Quite disappointed because we went out of our way to go to Ciudad Vieja for an overall poor experience.

Shen Spa is a beautiful oasis located only a short drive from the center of Antigua. Pablo, the owner, is a highly gifted and experienced practitioner. He offers a unique combination of both massage and energy work. In addition, he sets aside time to consult with you both before and after your treatment. My massage with him was absolutely the best I have ever received, I highly highly recommend him.

Pablo is wonderful. My TWO HOUR (!!!) massage was conducted at my hotel. I've never had an in-home massage before, so I wasn't sure what to expect--would it have all the trappings of a typical spa experience? The answer is yes, definitely. Pablo brought his massage table, really relaxing essential and massage oils that he heated up, warm towels, and everything. My hotel room can get kind of chilly, but I was never cold during my massage thanks to Pablo always keeping his hands super warm (how does he do that?). He's a sweetheart and made me feel super comfortable. He set very clear expectations so that anything I felt or experienced during the massage wasn't unexpected, and he was very thorough in asking about what in my body needed attention. Oh also, he wasn't just on time--he was early! Best massage I've had, plus I love that my money is going directly to a Guatemalan and not to a foreign-owned spa. NO RESERVATIONS RECOMMENDATION!

The best experience in Antigua! My friend recommended me Pablo saying it was more than just a massage. I didn’t really understand that till I tried! The session was so intense I even cried! I went through my memories, through some childhood pain I completely forgot about! And also had some images of my future (hope it actually comes true☺️). It’s magic…how he works with your energy…I have no idea how it actually works but I 100% recommend it! Thank you so much for such an amazing experience! Even though the session is 2 hours Pablo can make it longer if he feels that you’re still not balanced with your energies. He’s a real healer and was born to help people I believe. Wonderful, wonderful person! Really connected to him!!

Yesterday I gave myself a 2-hour massage gift from Pablo. As well as in previous years it was a special experience. Not only is he very friendly, shows genuine interest, is professional, and lovingly adjusts his massage to what you need after a conversation in advance. You feel safe and familiar under his hands. If you are open to it, his massage lets you experience what not only your physical pain points are but through his massage he gives you insight into your personal learning points. He doesn't look at the clock, takes all the time, my two hours were far exceeded. Without exaggeration...Pablo is like an angel sent from heaven. Someone who stays with you as a teacher in everyday life. Thank you Pablo, hope to see you next year.

This was by far the most well spent two hours of my week, month or probably the year, this therapy is absolutely out of this world. Amazing! I truly appreciate the great and possitive energy, the enlightening experience and the inner knowledge that everything will be just fine no matter what. This is medicine to the soul. I thank you for ever for that. Can't wait for the new spa to be open an ready, in the meantime I'll definitely ask for more sessions at home. Excellent service.

Pablo is a truly beautiful and gifted human/ practitioner. I booked and hot stone massage and reiki session and it was one of the best treatments I have ever received. His facility is a little outside of the city and extremely worth the 15minute cab ride--you will be surrounded by flowers, trees, and the sounds of birds. A must book when visiting Antigua.

It is a really good spa/retreat. The owner Pablo gives massage that exceed my expectation. The massage focus on deep relaxing and points of pain in your body. Furthermore it is a massage of two hours. After the massage you can go in the sauna, swimming pool or do some yoga. It is nice place to get relaxed. I really recommand it!!!
