I
got
stranded
in
Clarendon,
TX
on
August
15,
2013.
I
was
driving
when
the
engine
blew.
Being
in
such
a
small
remote
town,
I
was
naturally
very
nervous
until
my
wife
came
down
to
pick
me
up.
We
spent
a
second
night,
and
decided
to
explore,
and
came
upon
the
museum.
We
were
actually
going
to
pass
it
up
when
Cathy,
the
tour
guide,
chased
us
down
and
said,
"Did
y'all
want
to
see
the
museum?"
We
followed
her
back
and
I
must
say
that
it
was
an
extremely
fascinating
experience,
and
an
amazing
piece
of
history.
Even
if
simply
passing
through
Clarendon
on
the
way
to
somewhere
else,
if
you
are
a
history
buff,
or
just
need
a
break
from
the
road,
the
Saint's
Roost
Museum
is
definitely
worth
the
time.
Cathy
made
us
feel
more
than
welcome,
which
we
appreciated
very
much.
