We
had
a
grand
time
dining
at
Medium
Rare,
but
it
might
not
be
for
everyone.
The
meal
is
absolutely
delicious,
but
there
is
only
one
choice.
You
get
a
dressed
salad
of
mixed
greens
with
a
few
grape
tomatoes,
a
thinly
sliced
steak
(you
can
choose
rare
to
well
done)
topped
with
some
amazing
sauce,
and
a
pile
of
steak
frites.
That's
it!
No
chicken,
no
fish,
no
vegetarian
options.
Now,
the
five
people
in
my
party
ate
with
gusto,
and
we
were
delighted
to
accept
the
practically
obligatory
second
helping
of
steak
and
potatoes
(servers
will
happily
bring
a
takeout
box
for
what
you
can't
eat).
There
are
plenty
of
choices
of
beverage,
including
bottled
waters,
wines,
beers,
and
some
exotic
cocktails.
I
had
a
scrumptious
Blackberry
Sangria,
and
my
mother
raved
about
her
Pineapple
Margarita.
Servers
are
very
attentive
about
refilling
water
glasses,
bringing
second
helpings,
and
clearing
away
empty
plates.
There
were
five
dessert
options,
and
my
party
quickly
dispatched
our
Key
Lime
Pie
(with
sweet
little
candy
pearls
for
garnish),
decadent
Six
Layer
Carrot
Cake,
and
Double
Chocolate
Fudge
Layer
Cake.
We
got
a
table
for
five
without
any
trouble
at
around
5:00
on
a
Saturday,
but
the
place
filled
up
quickly
around
us.
Reservations
are
recommended.
And
don't
forget
to
check
out
the
restroom,
where
your
ablutions
may
be
accompanied
by
a
somewhat
suggestive
French
lesson
piped
in
through
the
speakers
-
I
was
cracking
up.
This
was
a
perfect
way
to
end
a
visit
to
Arlington
National
Cemetery.
