Another great team building experience. The restaurant is conveniently located in Arlington with free garage parking. Limited menu with seconds provided on your appetizer as well as your entree. Perfect place for the steak lover. Brandy provided amazing service and everything was delicious. Don’t forget to try the tomato sauce made in-house. Although the gravy compliments the meal perfectly. I enjoyed the pineapple breeze beverage and chocolate layer cake. Definitely recommend and will be back.

Overall this is a 5-star review for the food, friendly service and laidback atmosphere. The set menu makes the decision so easy for the costumer; the set menu consists of steak fries & salad! That’s it. Simple and easy to choose. So, you go here when you want to have steak, fries, and salad. The steak comes with a tasty gravy on the side that makes it more delicious. You can substitute fries with salad, if you want to take less carbohydrates. The surprise is that you will be offered a second portion for the same price (kind of buy one ($28)get second one free) They also have s decent menu of wine and beer which go well with the steak. There is also a dessert menu if you have room for that after the main course. They also offer outside sitting that is a plus in nice weather.

Medium Rare is a chain of two servings of picanha (thigh cut) beef and fries with gravy. The gravy helped make it. The salad is also nice. The bread is fresh hot back and good. But don’t get the nine dollar portobello. It comes out as a sliced filet and is ridiculous for that price. Atmosphere is strangely like a wedding where you don’t know anyone. Tables are too closely packed together. Staff are attentive and check on you a lot. But the staff re-filling your plate does not ask. They re-fill the trough. It is kind of funny. The ice cream is really good. It’s from a vendor called Jubilee. The apple pie had too much cinnamon. The staff took our feedback well. Beers are reasonably priced. And they have milk! #steak #mediumrare

A friend recommended it Set menu, 3 things offered only with a set price; you start with 1. bread and butter 2. Salad 3. Steak and fries (and brown sauce). The steak is refillable when you finish the offer you more. They do have different options for desert and beverages. Those, of course, cost extra they are not included in the price. Overall, I liked it. The steak was good, but I wish the sauce was different. However, my friend liked it. I would definitely go again. The cleanliness level is good. Service is OK. You need to call and reserve. They have a bar. Parking available.

We had a grand time dining at Medium Rare, but it might not be for everyone. The meal is absolutely delicious, but there is only one choice. You get a dressed salad of mixed greens with a few grape tomatoes, a thinly sliced steak (you can choose rare to well done) topped with some amazing sauce, and a pile of steak frites. That's it! No chicken, no fish, no vegetarian options. Now, the five people in my party ate with gusto, and we were delighted to accept the practically obligatory second helping of steak and potatoes (servers will happily bring a takeout box for what you can't eat). There are plenty of choices of beverage, including bottled waters, wines, beers, and some exotic cocktails. I had a scrumptious Blackberry Sangria, and my mother raved about her Pineapple Margarita. Servers are very attentive about refilling water glasses, bringing second helpings, and clearing away empty plates. There were five dessert options, and my party quickly dispatched our Key Lime Pie (with sweet little candy pearls for garnish), decadent Six Layer Carrot Cake, and Double Chocolate Fudge Layer Cake. We got a table for five without any trouble at around 5:00 on a Saturday, but the place filled up quickly around us. Reservations are recommended. And don't forget to check out the restroom, where your ablutions may be accompanied by a somewhat suggestive French lesson piped in through the speakers - I was cracking up. This was a perfect way to end a visit to Arlington National Cemetery.

Absolutely delicious steak! Everything was wonderful and service was great! The steak melts in your mouth! Salad and bread were delicious! Drinks were sooo good! Hopefully next time I’ll save room for dessert! My new favorite restaurant!

We had a nice time here at Medium Rare. We came relatively early, after work and had a good time with the service and it wasn’t too loud or full. Our service was really attentive and fast. We got one steak and one veggie version. Both came with second portions which actually with all the food fills you up just right. The salad was nicely dressed and actually had flavor. The mushroom had a nice char to it and the pepper sauce was delicious. For the price, I would think the steak and mushrooms aren’t the same cost given meat an veg aren’t the same price but I think I see it as it’s very affordable for steak so it evens out but that’s the only thing I’d say would give me pause. But not every steakhouse offers refills and veg options so I would still return. Liked the prickly pear sangria, but too sweet for me to repurchase (personal preference) but the Bordeaux was pretty nice and a hefty pour. Overall, would return.

It was my first time at medium rare and I was impressed! I booked my reservation online ahead of time to celebrate a birthday. Once I walked in the host warmly welcomed me and asked if I wanted anything specific and they were more than happy to accomodate my request. Al the food to include the bread and salad before the main meal was delicious! At first I thought that the main entree wasn't enough but they came back with more! I would absolutely go back for their delicious steak smothered in their amazing sauce!

I wish there were more than five stars. This place is absolutely amazing. Food, service, atmosphere... 5+ stars. This is your one stop shop for steak and fries (steak frites). The salad is scrumptious. The artisan bread and butter is delightful. The secret sauce is fantastic. The wine list is straightforward. I've been dining here since it first opened and it keeps me coming back for more. Thank you.

We finished our meal from the “set menu” and were pleasantly surprised at the deliciousness of the bread, salad and steak and frites!! Then, they bring round two!!! Wow. The drinks/cocktails were outstanding. Sent us on our way with Bazooka gum. 🤣 Superb New Year’s Eve meal. Thank You!! (The only criticism was the apple pie… the dough was undercooked 👎🏼)

Pretty good for the price. You're not getting an amazing steak but decent for what you're paying. Service is good as well as the atmosphere. Note: They charge a restaurant fee. No idea what it's for nor was there an explanation. Some transparency would be appreciated.

I enjoyed the food at Medium Rare immensely! Where else can you get multiple portions of steak frites? The steak was tender, the fries were perfect and the sauce was incredible. The only reason I docked one star was because it is not the best steak frites I’ve ever had, but for the value, it is unbeatable. There’s also a wide range of wines to try and several desserts. I have celiac disease and the waitress was extremely accommodating and was able to tell me what I could not eat (bread, but the steak frites were safe!). Next time I’ll visit for brunch.

Great concept and tasty food. Menu is straight to the point and they do a wonderful job preparing the food. Fast service, but it can make you feel rushed. Tables are very tightly packed in, so you feel like you're dining with the tables around you. Reasonably priced. Will put this restaurant on a regular rotation.

Absolutely fabulous. This was our first time but definitely not our last time. We loved everything. Bread course, salad scrumptious and then the steak frites. Followed by a surprise 2nd helping! We highly recommend eating at Medium Rare.
