We went with 3 of our teenagers and my father. We all got hamburger with either fries or onion rings. Everything tasted great! Most of us order the garlic steak burger. It tastes great but very messy and greasy (it is a burger, though)! You have to order at a kiosk and get your food from the counter when they call your name or order number. It did ask for a tip at the kiosk, but no one did anything for us. We cleared our table after we ate. Service was quick, especially considering we had 6 people! The store was very clean.

The Frisco Melt is amazing! Great spot for quick steak burgers whether you dine in or use their drive thru. Excellent inexpensive place to eat!

It had been a while since I’ve been at this location. It was great to see that they had cleaned up the place, and streamlined the ordering/service process. The food was good as usual! My girls loved their shakes.

So apparently they changed some things in the restaurant. You no longer get a menu or have a waitress come to your table. You have to place your order via a kiosk. You get your own soda in a to go cup. Then you pick a seat. When your name is called, you go get your own food. The waitress never checked on us. I miss the experience of having table service. The food was great except I had enough mustard and lettuce for 2 burgers, mustard was everywhere. Even on top of the bun... Lol. Maybe they have been short staffed? I think there were 5 workers there.

Perhaps a combination of remnants from covid era protections and the franchise itself nearly ceasing to exist in recent years, Steak and Shake is merely a shadow of its former existence. Choosing to eat Indoors, you order only from a screen, fill your own drink, and seat yourself until your name is called. Gone, are the bottles of trappeys peppers, and more than half of the menu.. For a restaurant hinging its fame on steak burgers, you'd hope to see more variety. I only saw three unique varieties of burger. Standard, garlic, and maybe the butter burger were all that were available. At least you could choose single to triple. The restaurant itself was clean, though empty. The staff were pleasant to a minimum but mostly absent from the experience. My food was hot, delivered very quickly, and was not offensive to taste, but I can't exactly praise it Steak and Shake has gone downhill. Looking at the vintage images on the wall of a bustling restaurant was a depressing comparison to the empty and soulless experience that was eating at S&S in 2023.

The drive thru was quite fast today and the staff was very nice! I love how improved it has become since the restructuring and definitely plan on coming back more often 😀

Never got my food. They told me 5 minutes for chicken, I waited 30 minutes and everybody else in the restaurant for their food before me. I asked how much longer my food would be, they told me to wait because they only had one cook. That's fine. But they were continuing to pump out drive thru food like crazy. Literally never got my food. Not worth it. All they gave me was a water bottle and honey mustard.

We ordered 2 shakes and 2 fries and have now waited over 40 minutes for our order. We initially pulled through the drive though only to be snappily told that we had to go inside for all pickup orders. Which isn’t a problem but now we’ve sat inside the restaurant for an additional 10 minutes with no progress. I understand being understaffed but the restaurant is currently empty other than us.
