I love this place. It's very peaceful and pleasant beach. You need to pay $5.00 for the parking fee. Nice environment where everyone is friendly. Me and my family enjoyed the day relaxing and I saw the dolphins swimming close to where the people swim.

What a lovely destination on Clearwater Beach! This park has lots of parking and plenty of room to spread out. Great place to swim since its nice and shallow close to shore. Amazing sunsets and if you get here in the morning you can see some dolphins eating their breakfast. Highly recommend.

Beautiful! You can rent chairs and umbrellas, there’s a food shack (truck) lifeguard (not sure hours) baskets to carry with you to collect your trash, (newest idea ever!) bathrooms, pavilion/cabanas for parties/get togethers, does cost to park and I believe dogs aren’t allowed in the beach but elsewhere in the park is ok.

That park has all you need for your family and pet/pets. Dog park is well maintained and clean. Lots of areas with shadows from trees and covered benches. Located next to the beach where early in the morning and later in a day your pet can enjoy the ocean.

This place is nice to visit in midweek. Not crowded at all! Quite, after 5 PM, there is a place where you can use the bathroom and change clothes! 👍⛱️🌞

There are many pavilions with restrooms in them. The only real drawback is that there aren't any vending machines at least at pavilion 7 where I was for lunch. Parking seems ample and can be done electronically with Park Mobile. Vehicles do not sit in shade on the beach side as the majority of the parking lot only contains palm trees. This park is pretty darn huge! It would probably be a very good spot for coming to the beach. The beach is exceptionally wide in this location. The water seemed to be very fluid with no stagnant areas. If you bring everything with you snacks and drinks and such then you should be okay otherwise you may want to find a different location.

Super nice beach! There’s not too many people here and it’s for the most part a very quiet beach! There were still lots of families so it is family friendly and there is a food truck as well. There’s bathrooms and showers as well which was nice. We were even lucky enough to see some dolphins while being out there and you can see AND feel fish swimming around you sometimes too! I highly recommend! I was also able to find tons of cool seashells and watch the beautiful sunset.

*** dogs not allowed on Beach *** ! beautiful. a nice place to spend the day. either on the beach w the dolphins or on the trails w the 'Yotes. the fishing pier is most excellent. such diversity. rest/ change rooms and beach showers. and catch a glimpse of Wile E. early in the mornings & now in the evenings. it's 6pm on a beautiful dry day dinner time for Wile E... .

This is a great area for a family beach day. They have a place to buy food and drinks and plenty of chairs and umbrellas for rent. The bathrooms are also close to the beach with outdoor showers at each location. They were clean and pretty well maintained. The sand was well taken care of, but the water was a little dirty when we were there. I don't know if the water normally looks like that or if it was weather related. While we were there, a sailboat got washed up on the shore. It was wild and happened early on the day. I attached a picture of it. I would definitely recommend this part of Clearwater Beach to anyone looking for a fun day at the beach with some amenities provided.

Make memories here. Our family was gathered for an evening sunset at sand key beach. And it did not disappoint. The view is spectacular. The parking lot was easy entering and exiting. Pay by plate service.

$5 to park and easy to navigate the parking machine where you'll put the printed ticket on your dashboard. Restroom facilities are on site. The beach area itself is kept nice, but is very very busy - meaning if you're looking for a quiet/peaceful beach experience this isn't going to be it. Perfect for families with kids though. Would recommend another lowkey beach for locals.

Lots of parking available. Went on memorial weekend so it was super busy and packed. Overall had a nice experience with the family. It was also nice drinking a cold drink while watching the sunset. Highly recommend staying for it.

Beautiful beach, clean and easy access. Parking is $5/day til 6pm. The park closes at Sun down. It has play ground as well for kiddos to enjoy. You'll see basket in the main entrance going to the beach, to help the beach clean pick up trash. Food truck in vicinity, clean bathrooms. Plenty of parking spaces. The beach has many cracked shells so just pick the right area to hang out. It is very calm and at the end of the Key you can see Clearwater Beach (key).

I love this place. The beach is amazing, the water is clear and during the summer is warm, perfect to spend a whole day with family and friends. The park has a good playground, restrooms, showers, dog park and picnics and events areas. Great access to the beach and affordable parking price ($5 per day)

Great public beach. Pay for parking, but it's on the trolley route, so if you stay nearby, you can ride over and walk in. The park is beautiful and it's a short walk from the trolley stop. We were there on a Sunday during spring break and it wasn't overly crowded. Very nice beach.

First time visiting this beach and park. Very nice beach. We parked on the north end. You get a great view of Clearwater Beach and the boats coming in and out of the channel. Looking south is very pretty!

First time at the ocean in 28 years. Never been to this one. Visiting son and wife.It was a beautiful beach. Clean and not over crowded. I am 68 years old. So have to be careful. They had been before and loved it. So they took me there. Awesome place. Nice outside showers to RINCE the sand off. And changing area that were nice and clean was a nice thing to have to change into dry clothes. Will go back before I leave to fly back to Tennessee. Thank you and God bless.

One of the best beaches in Clorella county. The water is warm, the wind is good, the beach is clean, enough parking lot. You pay $5 for parking the whole day. Opens at 7:00am to sunset. It's great to share with family, friends or by yourself. The park has public showers and restrooms.

My wife and I had the great pleasure of spending a day on the beach here in August 2020. The park is absolutely beautiful with very clean facilities. On duty Lifeguards, beach rentals, and food vendors all made for a great time here. The pictures say it all. It was on my bucket list for 52 years to just be able to see the ocean and this was the perfect spot to do it. No other view I ever get of the ocean will be the same having made this my first...... Great Beach.... !!! I am blessed to have been here!!

Beautiful beach! Clean and great for families. Parking meter provided in the parking lot or you can pay via Park Mobile. There are picnic tables with trees for shade. Along the jetties side, there are more private spots with an open entrance and slightly covered with trees where you can fish and enjoy the scenery. There was a wedding when we went, that’s how beautiful the area is. Able to fish the jetties on the side. Caught pompano, blue runners, ladyfish, and Spanish mackerel. There were sheepsheads as well but we didn’t catch any. Just saw them by the jetties.

The most enjoyable beach in and around Tampa. It is clean and the water was cold with great visibility below the surface. I love that the restrooms are easily accessible and there was a concession for snacks, drinks, and some beach toys. This is my go-to Tampa beach.

Sand Key Park is one of our favorite local beaches in Clearwater. Wide open spaces, clear teal blue waters, conveniently located to shops, and relatively clean bathrooms. On a good day it's beautiful, on a great day it's spectacular. Nothing comparative to my home in Hawaii, but it's certainly close enough.

Beautiful Beach almost walkable from Clearwater Beach (Separated only by a canal) And you can enjoy a much more relaxed family friendly atmosphere without the skyscrapers and construction of Clearwater looking over your shoulder

Sandy Key Park breathtaking coastal gem that captivates visitors with its pristine beauty. The park boasts a stunning white sandy beach that stretches for miles, providing the perfect spot for sunbathing, swimming, and leisurely walks along the shore. During my recent visit, I noticed there is a good bit of Sargassumt along the coastline, which raised some concern about the cleaning crew's maintenance. The scent was tolerable. However, despite this minor issue, the park remains a beautiful place to visit. It is advisable to bring your own beach essentials such as a beach umbrella and chairs to enhance your experience.

The view and the complimentary covered areas for visitors worth all the credits. We walked from our hotel which was only five minutes away so parking wasn’t a problem. The beach was quite clean and although it does get very crowded in good weather days, we came out really early in the morning and enjoyed the serene atmosphere all to ourselves. One of the best beaches in the area, this is our third visit already!

Great spot by the channel to watch the ships coming and going. Have also seen some dolphins. Some people fish too. The beach is sugar sand white but no dogs allowed. Free to enter the park, but you have to pay for parking.

Beautiful beach! Yes, there were a few shells in the sand and a lot at the water's edge, but it was so nice that it was easy to ignore a little foot discomfort. As for the bathroom/ changing rooms, I used to go to the bath houses in New Jersey and Delaware when I was young; these were just as clean as Delaware beach bath houses, but with outdoor showers. So I don't get the complaints I've seen on here. Parking was cheap - still the $5 others have mentioned. Beach chairs and umbrellas were readily available - without you having to do any carrying! It was $50 for 5 chairs and two umbrellas. The guy even let use use the screw in bottom for umbrellas for free! We will definitely come again! It was a great day!

A beautiful beach, not too crowded due to covid-19, but just a well kept shoreline not over commercialized or oversaturated with hotels and private homes. A small fee for parking and a short walk to an amazing gulf view!! A word of caution, do not eat or bring food on the beach or you will be swarmed upon by seagulls and they will literally take the food from your hand going into your mouth! I personally witnessed a young girl getting bit on her finger and cheek.
