Whataburger does not exist in my world. There are two in my town, and I will wait until Morris Neal is open because it's that good. The food has been consistently phenomenal, my favorite is the fried pickles. But it gets better. I ordered online and received fries instead of my pickles I had ordered. I was bummed, but I just called and got it straightened out. I arrived and was greeted by the owner who gave me an entire serving dish full of fried pickles as well as their new smoked Gouda bites, which are also incredible. That's old school service and I miss it in this modern world! Finally, it's just a cool place to eat. It has decades of street cred, it feels like a time warp back to 1950 inside, and the people are friendly. PLEASE DON'T EVER CHANGE! Unless it's to make new items like smoked Gouda bites! Thank you for treating me like a customer!

Really great burgers. Opened in 1933. They weren't cheap and neither was their food. Value for the money was fair. Great food. Great service. The ladies that work there and prepare the food are a hoot and a lot of fun to talk to. They have a great group of employees that show they really care about what they do and how they do it.

Just had one of the best burgers ever. Morris Neal Handy Hamburgers in Cleburne Texas. Thx John Bass for letting me in on this tastey place to eat. I got the Double Jumbo Cheeseburger and added Bacon to it. Cooked to perfection. Then had a slice of one of the most moist carrot cakes I have ever eatin. I WILL DEFINITELY be back. Relaxing spot to get away from work for lunch. 1950s music coupled with the southern sweetness of the hostesses makes the atmosphere nostalgic and refreshing. If you visit frequently they will remember your name and order. Although not gourmet, it’s certainly a respectable establishment. ProTips: 1. Order in advance if you visit at 12:30 this place gets popping. 2. Choose how you want your meat cooked because sometimes the grill folks can get too excited. 3. If you like ketchup or ranch with your hamburger and fries consider bringing your favorite packs with you to use. Fair price for the quantity and they offer online coupons. In my opinion this place is a solid choice for convenience, experience, hospitality, and tradition but not necessarily for quality. Worth visiting, I do go monthly to support this well intentioned historical small buisness.

This place is delicious. The staff was super friendly and made for a wonderful experience. The food was amazing, the burgers are juicy. All the sauce tastes homemade, ranch, BBQ, and ketchup. I had awesome fresh lemonade not to sweet or tart it was just right.

Do yourself a huge favor if you are in the area. Amazing yummy homemade hamburgers, sweet potato fries (oh my gosh) onion rings. And to top off yummy food, the staff is absolutely the best! You won't be disappointed.

Im not a complainer and we love Morris Neals always have, but the last 2 times have not been good. I decided that last visit might have been because the they were really busy and that's ok no complaints. This time our Jumbo Burgers were awful, the meat on mine was so small that when I cut it in half it was literally 2 bites. The meat fell apart was dry and just not what is expected from y'all. My husband was burnt and dry so he didn't eat his at all. We will be back but hope next time its like it was in the Past. The Best Burger in Town right now can only give 2 stars. Sorry Guys

This place surprised me. It's a little shack but staff was very friendly and the burgers and fries were both AMAZING! 👏 👏 👏 they had a homemade strawberry cake on display that looked really good and fresh. After we left I regretted not getting us a couple pieces.

Great food, Friendly staff. Their homemade Strawberry Cake is wonderful. And the potato nugget things are a must! Fried green beans are great. And the burgers are great Old Fashion Burgers.

All items we had were Fantastic! Jumbo Double was more like a meatball burger. Patties were huge and yet it was very moist! Onion rings were wonderfully battered and stayed in tact after a bite. Nothing was overseasoned which was perfect cause my daughter likes less seasoning and I was able to add more salt to my liking. Has a wonderful atmosphere and sat outside in the fall weather.

The Best burger I've ever tasted hands down! I'm vegetarian, but made an exception to try one of their famous hamburgers even though they offer vegetarian burgers. They live up to their reputation, it was Phenomenal!!

This is the best hamburger I’ve ever eaten. You can tell the meat is fresh and not frozen. I love the look of this little burger joint. It reminds me of the walk-up burger bar that used to be in downtown Fort Worth. There is seating inside and they have outdoor seating as well. Go get you a burger here you will not regret it, in fact, you will become a regular customer.

Delicious Burger was not a fan of the fries, fast service food was ready in 10 minutes. I think I found my new go to spot for a juicy real hamburger!!! I will probably get onion rings next time👍♥️😋🍔🍔🍔🍔

Even though they are temporarily limited to phone in and take out service only, they still produce the best burgers in town. Service is still fast and friendly!

Best burger and onion rings in town hands down. Need ketchup, mustard or mayo they got you no need to worry. Melt in your mouth large oversize burger that would make you want to smack your dad for never cooking burgers like this.

I guess I don’t understand the reviews. Pros: Everyone was nice. Cons: The burger was dry and had no flavor. They were pretty stingy with the fries. We waited a very long time for our food. There were no bathrooms. There were no refills because most drinks come in cans or bottles. But, I’m always glad when a local business does well and apparently many people enjoy this place, so that’s great for them.

The food was amazing! Cheeseburgers, fried pickles, fried jalapeños… all was good. Customer service was great! I do wish they had fountain drinks and it was a bit warm… but we would definitely COME BACK! Overall a great experience and do recommend it to others!

This is by far one of if not the best burger joint I’ve been to, and there are a lot. However the dinning area is small, could use considerable enlarging. I’ll keep going because the burgers are so good, but I sincerely hope they invest in a new dinning area, with the amount of business they do, it would seem worth while.

Ive lived in Cleburne for over 30 years and just starting eating at Morris Neal's. What was i thinking waiting for so long! Ive heard of this place since i was in my teens and didnt try it until i was in my 60s. I sure missed out all those years. These are THE best hamburgers in Cleburne.
