Well, never in my life have I experienced a restaurant that makes no real attempt to cook the food! Until yesterday 1.28.23. Never eaten here before so I tried it. 2 pizzas, mozzarella sticks and boneless wings. Mozzarella sticks were NOT COOKED! I believe everything was microwaved and that's no exaggeration. The cheese sticks were literally dough and cheese. "Hand tossed" pizza aka thin paper crust! Again, I believe the pizza was microwaved as the entire bottom was dough-y. I am still so shocked.

Walked in 10 minutes before 6pm to an empty restaurant and order 2 pizza's and salad to go. Was told to sit on the couch and relax and they would bring my order out. 10 minutes after 7pm I ask if my order is ready. Come to find out it has been sitting in the back and now I have cold pizza and a warm salad. Very disappointed we use to eat their pizza every week when they were in Alvarado. Looks like it will be a while before I try them again. 7 bucks for a salad and this is all you get. Not worth it.

Best pizza in town! I like that they chop up the veggies so ya get some with each bite. Good topping/sauce/crust ratio also. Most importantly it didn't wake me in the night with stomach pains and bathroom issues! Also we got a great deal with a coupon so I hope to get more in the mail.

My wife and just today visited this restaurant for the first time and really enjoyed the pizza also met the owners and they are very nice people I definitely recommend this restaurant

I heard this place was under new management, so the older reviews may not apply. We got a large pizza to take out (they also deliver). There is much more to this place than what you get at first glance! My wife says next time we need to dine in. The restaurant even has several board games available for you to play while you're there. Several decorations show a UK connection (ROYAL pizza)! This is a nice place with a good atmosphere. The staff were all friendly and professional. The pizza was delicious. We will definitely be back, and we want to bring friends. They also have coffee, brownies, and things like that. They can make your pizza with gluten free crust and many other specialty options.

I used to go here pretty often, now they don't seem to care. Just took me 45 minutes to get my food. Unfortunately, I won't go back until they make some kind of a change.

First time eating here and it will be the last. Don’t know how this place gets a 4.4 rating. This pizza is very doughy and soggy. The salad was ok. Definitely wouldn’t recommend unless you like soggy tasteless pizza.

I just found this amazing Italian food restaurant "Royal Pizza " in Cleburne Texas. The owners simply marvelous. Prices are low, food is ample, actually I could not finish my lasagna. I have not seen this size lasagna at a restaurant... well, ever. The atmosphere is lovely, friendly and comfortable.

Took for ever to get some wings and a med thin crust meat pizza. Wings were good but the pizza sucked. We have had better frozen pizza. Save your money & go somewhere else

The pizza here use to be tasty and moist, and the customer service was good. Not this visit. Either it changed drastically or it just depends on who they’re serving. Tasted my order in the car and was too embarrassed to go back in to have corrected, the quality of my order made me lose trust in going back. I pray this place gets the help that they need in the kitchen. I feel like any employee is going back to prepare food. A pizza chef would NEVER give me a dry cheese pizza missing the one topping I asked for.

At first the pizza didn't look too impressive, but what a surprise when we tasted it. Thin crust was perfectly balanced with the flavors on the pizza, without my mouth being too full of bread. It was delicious and we'll be back for more.

Very impressed with the food quality. Pizza was handmade and the toppings were fresh and everything was delicious. We ordered the ultimate deal. Only thing I don't agree with is that they charge more to change out the red sauce for white sauce. We definitely will come back.

I'm not from the area, but I eat here whenever I'm passing through town. Best pizza ever! I love the delicious toppings, the abundant cheese and flavorful crust, that I always eat completely. The great personal service and "royal" treatment is something you can't get in one of the local chain restaurants. It's worth the drive if you're not from around here. They quickly make it feel like it's your hometown too, and you'll keep coming back.

1st time here and we will be back! Had the large pepperoni pizza with jalapeños....yummy and the garlic cheesy breadsticks....omg. if you have not tried this place out, you are missing out on some great tasting pizza.

Best pizza in town. Twice as many toppings as anywhere else! A great place to go before the theater.

Spent $90 here and almost everything was perfect. The only miss was that I ordered buffalo boneless bites and they were too small for the price and had no buffalo sauce on them, they were over cooked and dry. Lesson learned.

I had this pizza last weekend and I just had to come back all the way from Arlington TX! I’m from Chicago, so I know good pizza when I try it!! The bakes pasta!!! Omg!!!

Everything was par excellence. It was a great atmosphere, super friendly and welcoming for our kids. The pizza and salads were amazing. Definitely worth the trip and I would come back from Irving just for this pizza. Thank you for such great service and a cozy restaurant to dine in! You should really stop by and experience it for yourself.

This is probably one of the best pizza restaurants I've ever been too! I was just passing through Cleburne on my way back from vacation this weekend and wanted some pizza! Boy was a I surprised of how fast, and efficient the service was! Then our pizza came out and my experience just got better! Whoever is running this place, keep up the great work!

I snuck in here at 3pm yesterday. One super nice lady was working and she was a sweetheart. Ordered lizard fries and a small meat lovers and a small bbq chicken. Food was amazing, and we had the place to ourselves. I can't wait to go back and try the other food!!

So good, forgot to take a picture of the pizza so now I can only post the damage. I tried the El Ranchero and it was delicious. I’ll certainly be back.

From the moment I walked in, I knew this place wasn't going to be promising. Ordered a margarita pizza with pepperoni for $35.... and was given a plain cheese pizza. Guess you could say it was my fault for not checking at the restaurant but when I attempted to call to get it fixed no answer... DO NOT RECOMMEND. Save yourself $30 and go to little Cesars.

My wife and I enjoy this place, but my kids absolutely LOVE it. It's not like there's a playground or anything; they just love the pizza that much. I highly recommend the Ultimate Deal for the family. 👌

Stopped in for lunch yesterday and ordered the daily special per our server's recommendation. Pizza was absolutely the best we have had in years. Service was fast and friendly. We will be back to try other menu items such as the twice baked spaghetti; a favorite of mine!

I have been seeing FB ads forever so I finally drove from Granbury to try it out. I was so amazed at the perfection of this pie. No overpowering sauce...cheese that really stretches when you take a bite! Price was only $10 for a medium with ANY topping and a drink. I'll be driving back every time I want pizza!

I have never been a big fan of pizza; but the quality and service at Royal is outstanding. Definitely the best pizza in recent memory.

Okay, so the food is surprisingly good. Better than most, if not all, of the other pizza places in the area as far as taste goes. Quick service as well, so there's nothing to complain about in that respect. My big issue, has to do with their sanitation and business practice. To be more specific, if they get an order wrong, they demand that you give the wrong order back before they reimburse or correct your order. That has some very troubling implications. For instance, how do we know that any food we receive from them hasn't already been delivered to somebody else first? There are some serious diseases and sicknesses that can be spread like that. I spoke with the owner, and she said "If I just give you two meals, we would be losing that money." I expressed my concerns over this issue, and she assured me that they do not do that. But how would they not lose money anyway unless they did re serve old food? I told her respectfully that her assurances are just words and mean nothing. I also refused to give back the wrong order, and just decided to take the loss. The whole interaction was respectfully, and the owner did not lose her temper, however she also refused to compromise. So, anytime you get food delivered from them, there's a possibility that some other customer has already had their dirty hands on it, could've sneezed or coughed on it, etc. It's a gamble I'm not willing to take. Only wish I knew this before I ordered from them the past couple times. Would've been a 5 star, if not for this though.

While in town on a field service repair call me and my co-worker were craving pizza. So we asked google maps for pizza near me and Texas Royal Pizza topped the list of suggestions. So we went and gave it a try. I got a house salad and their dine in special choosing their meat lovers pizza. My co-worker ordered the chicken alfredo pizza. The salad was really good. A good portion size with plenty of tomatoes, bacon bits and cheese. The ranch dressing tasted very good. The pizza for being a medium was big with plenty of toppings and cheese. The pizza was cooked perfectly and was very delicious. I would recommend this pizzeria to my friends and family with no question....now to get them from Missouri to Texas to try it.👍👍

A pizza experience, the owners wait on you hand and foot. Always great food good atmosphere, no worries. Have and will continue to highly recommend this restaurant!! 500 stars! PS They r hiring good qualified wait staff.

I really want to believe in this place because I love supporting small businesses. However it seems that every time I’ve come here they skimp on the toppings and the over all size of the pizza is not up to par with other local Italian restaurants. The pizza over all does have fresh tasting ingredients, but please be more generous with the toppings and portion size.

Terrific choice of meals,excellent staff and the pick up wait time is minimum.The dine-in area is comfortable and relaxing,a great place to meet with friends/family/colleagues.
