I have nothing but good things to say about this small town gem! I started with a cup of the lasagna soup - I mean, come on, have you ever heard of that? It was amazing and a really creative spin on a soup. I then had the Italian sub, which boasted a few notable elements: the grilled sourdough it was on had the perfect crisp to soft ratio, the lemon vinaigrette to dip in was a zesty treat, and the side I chose, the broccoli and cauliflower salad was the perfect accompaniment. At a place like this, you have to get dessert, so I tried the Italian cream cake and wasn’t disappointed in the slightest. The staff and my waitress were incredibly friendly and attentive too. The prices were modest. I didn’t get a chance to try a drink, but they serve alcohol as well. This place is an absolute treasure and I’m so glad I stopped in.

Absolutely fantastic food. We are pretty new around town and we were pleased to find this spot. Sadly the most mentioned salad bar is not longer available. Mimosas diversity is the bomb and food is really tasty.

Gus charmingly waited on us. We had the half sandwich and trip to the salad bar which were yummy. Everything was fresh. The atmosphere is delightful with all the garden themed decorations which are for sale. We finished off the meal with carrot cake and Black Forrest cheesecake. Both we very good. It was our first trip last night, but I assure you it won't be our last.

Wonderful atmosphere with laid back service. Don’t need to be in a hurry because it’s a fun place to sit back and enjoy others company. Food is outstanding. The flavored teas are awesome & the German potato salad is my favorite! Everything is fresh & the soups are delicious! Can’t say enough. There are all types of boutique type items for sale throughout the place too. Highly recommended taking the time to enjoy a good lunch!

A great atmosphere in one of Cleburne's old buildings near the courthouse. Nicely decorated and a friendly staff. The best salad bar in town and very tasty food, just be ready for a 20 minute wait for your food after ordering.

Be prepared to wait for an hour to get your food. The atmosphere is fantastic, but the service is super duper slow. We had to wait about 10 min just before someone took our drink order, at which time I also placed my food order cause we had more than enough time to decided what we want. We got our soup after waiting about 10 more minutes, ate it, I got up and wondered around the shop for about another 10 or 15 min n sat n waited about 10 more minutes n still no food. At this time I was fixing to be late returning to work so I had to cancel my food order n paid for the soup we ate. Now I am back at work starving cause I ran out of time waiting so long for my food.

I love eating lunch here. The soups and salads are perfect for me. The sandwich options are great as well. Staff is pleasant and environment is cozy. You can also browse the many items available for purchase displayed throughout the restaurant. Just a great little place!

This place is cute and all the pieces are for sale. Their green goddess sandwich was amazing... however after my friend let me have a small piece of the regular grilled cheese I was unsure who got the better sandwich. The waiter was very friendly and was on top of things.

We stumbled upon a GEM! We we're recommended, and let me say it was such a pleasant surprise to go somewhere and the food and service was beyond better than expected! A new family fav spot for tasty, bold sandwiches!

I have been there twice. Once for lunch and once for dinner. Really cute and adorably place. The food is fresh and very well though out. So many options on the salad bar. The staff is attentive and have great personalities. Impressed that even the younger servers seem to be personally invested in the place and your experience there. Every once and a while there are minor hiccups- but I appreciate it even more since it is not a chain restaurant. Very cool little gifts and treats available as well. I highly recommend! So glad they are open for dinner now as well.

It's a sandwich shop with a salad bar. I'm not a big fan of the selection of the sandwiches because I'm either allergic to the ingredients or do not like them. I ordered the grilled cheese with bacon. I loved that I could order just half a sandwich instead of a whole sandwich. I wish more restaurants offered smaller portions instead of forcing their patrons to choose between being wasteful or becoming obese. Anyway, I digress. It was the best grilled cheese sandwich I have ever had in my life. I can't really comment on the service because that was my fault. I was eating alone and got a phone call from a family member I never get to speak to. Normally, I am not a person to speak publicly on my cellphone because I think it is beyond rude and inconsiderate. I explained to my waitress why the phone call was so important and asked not to be disturbed. She was completely nice about it and obliged. My phone conversation was about 20 minutes long. I disconnected from my call and ate my dinner. My waitress never came to check on me again and she did an amazing job of not disturbing me. She was very attentive to the other patrons. I waved her over to me, she asked if I had a pleasant phone call, and was very understanding about the phone call and said she noticed I needed a refill, but didn't want to interrupt my phone call of a lifetime. She was very attentive after I waved her to me. All in all, I had a very pleasant experience and will be going back. I can't wait to try the salad bar.

It was very unusual and food prepared a little differently. First experience I had wasn't very good so I thought I'd try it again this one was much better.

Love the combinations on how dishes are set! The way the ingredients were put together left me tasting every individual flavor in a single bite. Without having a chaos of flavors crashing and leaving me with a displeasure taste in my mouth. Finish off with mouth watering desert that left me yearning for more!

Cool little diner, not normally my kind of place as I am a meat and taters kind of guy. This is more sandwich and salads. However, I found fav go to sandwich and the salad bar is plentiful. If you are lucky enough to be there at the right times , the mimosas are not so bad either. Ladies are a hoot, I always enjoy giving them a hard time.

Goodness their food is absolutely delicious. I had half a turkey sandwich and a cup of tomato basil soup, along with a pea salad instead of chips. Really super delicious. And to top it off their tres leches cake was amazing!! DEFINITELY coming back!

The food is yummy. The service was average. It's a pleasant ambiance. They have plenty of options for different types of preferences including vegan and vegetarian. I plan on going back.

Wish I could give more stars. The cashier was wonderful and waitress friendly but soo so over worked. My whole party was underwhelmed with our food. If you are going for a snack the 1/2 sandwich is ok but really really small. Each of us tried a different sandwich. Again they were only ok and the salads meh. I must say though that the homemade Butter Pecan ice cream wasa true winner.

This is THE place to be in Cleburne! Perfect ambiance for a ladies' day out, a lunch with your family, or just some 'me' time. I have been on several occasions, and they have never let me down. Great IG photo opportunities with the raised tables in the front and the mood lighting in the back and a little candy shop to calm your sweet tooth...but if you ever get the chance to try the Dole Whip - TAKE IT!!! The coconut iced tea pairs well with everything on their menu, and the service is out of this world! Highly recommend! 10/10

The food was okay they could have less oil. the service was okay, I had to ask for drink refills every time I needed one..and the bathroom had graphic (genitalia) on the bathroom door. THIS NOT A FAMILY FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENT. I will not be eating here again. I was very glad that I did not have my kids with me and I did not have to have conversation that we are not ready for. I would give them zero stars if I could.

Good food. Thought the portion of meat compared to bread was disappointing. Three bites and the meat was gone. The next nine bites were bread. I have included a pic.

Perfect lunch spot! We often have our Rotary Club board meetings here as they have a big table in the back room that’s perfect for a meeting. I had Mr. Beefy and it was great.

I moved from Cleburne a few years ago, but every time I am in town I make a point to eat here because the Hob Gobbler. My sister, mom, and I were in last week on a very busy Friday. The wait was long, but we were not about to leave. The owner asked the party of 2 in front of us if they were okay with sitting at a table that usually sits 8. They were happy to do it and even suggested that the next party in line (us 3) could join them. The owner was hesitant but when asked we were absolutely fine with it. We made 2 new friends, Pat and John, and we all laughed and get to know each other over delicious food! Communal seating for the win!!! also, get the coconut tea!!!

My husband and I tried this restaurant for the first time today and everything was wonderful! We were seated as soon as we walked in, the waitress was quick to give us our drinks while we looked at the menu. The food was fresh and didn't take long to come out. Everything was full of flavor and quite delicious. The restaurant was clean and the food was reasonably priced with healthy options to choose from. We will definitely be going back again!

Just a wonderful place, the only thing is the hrs. If they stay open to at least 5, that would be wonderful. So if you don't get off before 2:30 pm, you might want to find another place to eat.

Owner and her staff are always so friendly! Food is delicious- I always get the Garden Goddess with a coconut tea. Support local business and pay cash!

My wife wanted to try this restaurant and although i wasn't in the mood for sandwiches i agreed. WOW amazing sandwiches, best potato salad I've ever had and the cake was incredible. We will eat here often!

I went here on monday, had the taco salad and it was absolutely AMAZING!!!! Whoever made it did a wonderful job. It was good there was none left when i was done! It came out so beautifully!! My pregnant belly says thank you thank you thank you!!! I will for sure be back. You havent seen the last of me. I will be reccomending the salads to everyone i know!! Thank you garden of eating!! It was bowl licking good!

Fresh fresh, fresh salad bar with specialty dishes...EXCELLENT sandwiches. Relaxing, euro type atmosphere, not a hurry and eat place. Fun gifts to choose from, friendly staff, that takes pride in thier place. Only thing I would have liked to see at as a professional Sous chef, would be homemade desserts.

Very cute establishment in downtown Cleburne. Servers are called Gardeners, and they have a small but diverse salad bar. Loved the lemon Italian dressing. Veggie quiche was quite tasty and the dessert was amazing!

This place has the best salads and salad bar in town! Lovely vegetarian options and adorable names for all the sandwiches. Also has cute decor/inventory since the restaurant was combined with a small boutique. Only 4 stars because the pricing.
