We had an amazing time here! The food was divine and the service was amazing!

Mallorca has been a staple downtown for most of my life and it's been 10+ years since I've been there. I couldn't figure out how this place is still open. It's pretty obvious that it's not due to the decor that is in serious need of a facelift. The real answer is that the food is amazing. The pork chop was probably the best prepared pork chop I've ever had. It was juicy and delicious. The swordfish was fantastic. The spicy muscles in tomato sauce were wonderful. The family style veggies and Spanish rice were also really good. The flaming coffee is always a spectacle and the server was amazing and had a great time with us. This could be a 5 star restaurant again if it was updated. But that won't stop me from coming back even if they keep it the same.

gorge was a fabulous server & everyone was perfectly attentive. we didn't have to wait for anything, they all moved like a well oiled machine. and the food was delicious and perfectly prepared. it was a modest looking enough establishment, but the menu was absolutely worth ordering. i have never had a good crab cake i liked & these i would order as a meal! and everything was beautifully crafted like art on a plate. perfect experience! thank you for making our 16th wedding anniversary so special!

My family and I had an amazing time! Our waiter was so friendly and attentive. The food was delicious including the dessert! We appreciate the vast menu to accommodate everyone’s needs. Highly recommend checking this out!

Everything was excellent! Loved the fish and the tuna. The appetizers were excellent, especially the chorizo and octopus. The caramel pie was also exquisite. The only thing that needed a little work was the chicken, it should have probably just been grilled instead of breaded. The service was super nice and the place was really nice!

It was me and my boyfriend’s first time here last night. The food was really good, we had ordered the stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer and for the entrees we had the paella and pork chops. We also ordered desserts and had the flan and tiramisu. The portions are definitely shareable and generous! Before arriving, I did read the reviews and expected really good service. Once my boyfriend and I were sat down, it took a while before anyone came to give us waters and menus. We saw tons of others around us getting serviced while we had to try to flag someone down and/or wait for a while. Overall, my experience was still good though and I’d still recommend for anyone to try this place out!

So disappointed! Went in for takeout for lunch as I work downtown. I ordered the fried calamari and asked if they can fry it hard so that the texture wouldn’t be so squishy and soft. They did not honor my request. I also ordered a salad with blackened salmon. The salad consisted of a bag of spring mix and a tomato cut into pieces with the salmon being cut up and burnt on top of the bed of spring mix. It was not tasty at all! I kind of took a bite of the salmon and ate a tomato and trashed the rest. I spent $36 and a some change. This was my first visit and last.

This restaurant is amazing in every aspect! The atmosphere, the food and the service, definitely top tier! I would give more than 5 stars if possible. Jorge was our server but everyone helped. The staff is super friendly and attentive. One of the best restaurants in Cleveland by far. Among the few I would highly recommend. We had the paella, stuffed mushrooms, calamari, t-bone steak, lobster ravioli, and pork chops. It came with family style steamed vegetables, saffron rice and potato chips. I can't wait to visit again. Thank you Jorge and staff for an absolutely amazing New Year's Day dining experience.

One of my favorite places for Portuguese cuisine in the Cleveland area - the service is so charming and exceptional; I deeply regret not getting our waiter's name because he was fantastic: very attentive, incredibly friendly, very knowledgeably and passionately shared specials with us and commended us on our choices, and really made me appreciate the place and want to stay longer. The food was the star and highlight - bursting with flavor, gorgeous, vibrant colors, cooked to perfection. We began with an order of mushrooms stufffed with crab, about which the only complaint I have is how quickly they disappeared. I had the paella, something they're known for and deservedly so - the portion was generously filled with meats and seafoods of many kinds. Lastly, I ended with an incredible lemoncello pie slice - uncontestedly the most fragrant, genuinely delectable dessert I've ever consumed. These accompanied by a gorgeous, clean restaurant, charming staff, and all-around beautifully cultural atmosphere - I would carry someone here to try it (the check is their's).

Mallorca is our favorite restaurant in Cleveland. We come here every time we are in town. Everyone is nice, friendly and service is impeccable. The garlic soup is to die for. We have never had a bad meal here.

Honestly, my expectations were HIGH. The food was not what you think you’d get when going to a “high-end-Restaurant” downtown. A bit on the plain side. The servers were awkward. Except for the guy that explains the menu. He was excellent, very friendly and energetic.

Just the best. Sopa de ajo/garlic soup, calamari is perfectly done. Classic with green sauce. That is just the appetizers. We drove from Fort Wayne, IN, to eat here. It's that good. Service is top-notch. Reasonably priced. Oh, they have funky glasses.

The staff was awesome & attentive. The menu lacks marked options for dietary restrictions. I asked about allergies to milk & butter. The response was only red sauce was available. They accommodated by grilling 2generous pieces of chicken. Nice but not the experience I was hoping for. Wish I could have given a 5 star.

Love this place from the 1st time my wife and I came here on our 1st wedding anniversary 21 years to today. The food is excellent, the service is great. Took some customers there and they were all impressed. The garlic shrimp appetizer is awesome...a must get. Had the Spanish sausage appetizer..wow really good. We had steak special, tortellini, chicken dish and paella...all were fantastic. Very reasonable priced...for 2 appetizers, 4 drinks, 4 meals $230 including tax... I love coming here can't wait for next visit.

Seafood here is outstanding, Octopus 🐙 appetizer was very fresh and all other plates were delicious . Jorge gave us an outstanding service 👏 Update I had visited this place for the second time to try the meat and poultry items , Filet mignon, grilled chicken, T-bone steak, dessert all were great 👍 And again Jorge was the best 👌 Thanks for the professional management 👏

Incredible! Mallorca never disappoints! From the moment you walk in, the staff makes you feel special. This begins a wonderful culinary experience! We were in Spain this spring and tried paella in every town we visited... Barcelona, Mallorca, & Ibiza. NO ONE made paella better than our own Cleveland restaurant. Whether you have stuffed lobster, salmon, shrimp, beef, veal, or chicken, you can be assured it is freshly cooked & delicious. I often order stuffed shrimp (which is an incredible meal), but ordering paella is my favorite. My son ordered a steak that was large enough to have leftovers for 2 days. Last NYE, I ordered stuffed lobster, which was an incredible meal. You are not going to find better dishes anywhere in the city! The owner & the staff put their heart & soul into this restaurant to make dinner a unique & special event. This dedicated staff has been there for over 20 years, which says volumes about their dedication to the public. They must put their own family second in order to put their customers first because they are always there working with a smile. Go to Mallorca and experience the ambiance & food! It's a great experience!

Absolutely love it here. My family and I go here all the time and the staff treat us so well. Food comes out so fast and the second you finish your drink they're right there, ready to refill. The staff is so welcoming and warm and the food is amazing. I'm so glad this is always up and running. Feels like a second home!

Had dinner here with a friend from out of town last night. When I first walked in and saw how busy the place was, I was hesitant about how the night was gonna go. Much to my surprise, I was greeted and treated like family. In a discussion with my waiter (which I later discovered was only 1 of 2 for the entire place which easily had 150 or more customers) they were a bit short-staffed. The amount of hustle I had witnessed, and the teamwork that was involved far outweighed any recent experience I myself have witnessed in such a long time. The owner and all of the rest of the staff makes sure you are treated as one of their own from the moment you walk in, until you leave the establishment. I usually feel like a number in most dining experiences. As busy as they were they not only took the time and patience for myself and my friend, they accommodated and allocated for everyone else around my immediate area. I have been to Mallorca before and that is why I brought a visitor who is not from the area. I can say without hesitation, that I will return many more times. I know I said it last night, but thank you again for the amazing food and atmosphere.

My lady studies in NC, and I study here in Cleveland. She flew in and so I made a reservation here. How. Freaking. Awesome! The service from the staff was top tier… they were all so friendly. The food was everything we could have hoped for, and the atmosphere couldn’t be beat. You get a sense of how classy the place is while feeling, a sense of belonging. If you’ve never been, make a reservation and RUSH to try it. It will not disappoint. Thanks so much to Laurie, Enrique, Jorge, and everyone else that welcomed and served us. We had a wonderful night!
