I am writing this review while I eat. I ordered nachos from here. This can literally be described as 3 day old generic brand doritos with store bought nacho cheese out of the jar. I would know because I grew up poor eating this food from gas stations as it was all we could afford.

Nice terrace in the Old Town Cluj-Napoca,good service all drinks fresh and in shiny glasses😃a large list of cocktails.Down stairs the party continues at 20 lei entrance.Enjoy you evening and SHINE🤩

This place is terrible. Good location. If u don’t mind waiting 40 mins for a drink. Over an hour for food. Waiter loat in space, wanted to take away my half bottle of beer. Just terrible and never again.

Overall good experience. The food is more than decent, very big portions (pasta) and quality ingredients. They don’t use the heaters at their full potential and it can get cold on the terrace. There are lots of waiters and it gets confusing for both them and the client. The place gets fussy in the evening. The shisha is quite good, not a very strong tobacco, but the flavor is very nice! Later edit: the cappuccino was a no go for us, and we’re coffee lovers!

One of the most Fu... shi....tieste restaurant that I've ever been. I've ordered a soup and waited for it around 50 minutes and I'm still waiting 😤! The order been placed at 15:45. Don't go there ever in you're life.

Alert ⚠️ please avoid this place. Check reviews before. I'm really disappointed, wait 55min for pasta 😕. We just left after my husband had a fight with manager, just paid for drinks we've ordered even if we shouldn't ,cancelled the rest of ordered and we will never want to visit this place ever again. We recommend Marty across the street , million times better.

Aweful experience... I asked for no bacon on my burger. I don't eat pork for religious purposes. Me and my fiance we waited a very long time for our burgers and when they finally came there was bacon on both of them. When we asked to have them made again, the waitress came back trying to negotiate with us and make us eat the burgers with bacon although we were very clear about the fact that we did not want any pork on our food. It seemed like the chef there has no respect whatsoever for other cultures and religions. Very poor management and a very long time of waiting before the food arrives. Go somewhere else if you can

It's more on the pricier side. The atmosphere however is great, very nice design!

Hello. I've been at the place 1 hour ago. Let me describe my experience so you know not to waste time there. The place is dirty, outside on the terrace they have some sort of heating, but cold anyways. I had a tea and a cappuccino. That was good. But I ordered some pasta with mushrooms and chicken. The chicken was undercooked. So if you like some days in the hospital with a little bit of salmonela go for it. There are better places in Cluj with better food. I don't recommend this one!

The best place in cluj to go out at night to party and eat during the day.

Hello! I went with some friends of my partner (I’m from Spain) and they took more than 40 minutes to give us our nachos (literally nachos you can find at any store and a cheese sauce it’s the same) we paid 20 lei for that scam, good place to drink but not to eat there. Waiters are very close to the clients and kind.

First thing after one minute, a waitress went to serve at another table going by my back scratching me and my chair. No excuse. No nothing. I asked half liter bottle of water. They brought me 0,33. Ordered chicken and tomatos salad. I waited for the food 19 minutes Big portions. Not bad. One salad 5 euro.

Instead of serving brown guacamole and soggy greens that are days old, better don’t. Does this look appetizing to you?

It's OK. Not really different from all the other around. It's quite big and has plenty tables outside on two sides of the building. The club is downstairs. It had a dedicated DJ on one of the sides but it was not very engaged...being nore interested on his phone. I had to chase the waiter twice to remind him about my order. Not giving 4 stars because of the insufficient toilets.

I went there with a friend, the waiter forgot my order and brought it out only after asking him about it, like 30minutes after my friend got his meal. And as if this wasnt enough, the pizza was waaaay too salty too.

Fast service, simple yet good food, friendly and casual atmosphere - all for a fair price. This will be the short description for this place, where one might come with limited expectations and leave with high spirits and full belly

We had to wait for 30 mins before someone even noticed we were seated. We asked the waitress 3 times to clean our table, like it was a thing that we HAD to say, and she only managed to do so after she brought the drinks which we had to hold in our hands and laps in order for her to wipe the table. Especially during these covid19 times tables should be cleaned and desinfected after each customer leaves. The coffees were great, and the location is very nice, but I would say these are highly eclipsed by the terrible service.

Nice pub in the heart of Cluj-Napoca Old Town with a large terrace and a friendly environment.You can enjoy fresh prosecco ,beer,wine and a large variety of cocktails listening the latest songs.Also after midnight costing 20 lei the party continued downstairs with a disco.So relax and have fun.

The burger was raw (not rare, raw in the middle and vercooked on the sides), we were notified 3 times that the food we ordered was not available (it was on the menu), the pizza seemed like it came from the frozen section at Lidl. Awful experience, I do not recommend.

Decent place, food is served fast, tastes alright - the soup is really good. It is located right in the centre of Cluj. They have offers on most nights for shots and cocktails. Beware if you're ordering take away, you will be charged for the take away box

We had to wait about 20 minutes until a waiter took our order, they walked right next to us and ignored us on purpose. Also, we had to wait really long for our drinks, even though we were only two people! Really bad service!

Very overpriced, I ordered a crispy chicken burger - cooked from frozen of course. Fries were oily and undercooked, and overall food standard very low. 295 lei for a dinner for 4 people considering the standard is crazy. Won’t be going back there for sure. And please get a bigger toilet it’s embarrassing.

It was pretty nice and comfy but the waitress forgot to bring part of our order.

Caro was much better than I expected. The food was flavorful, savory, and succulent. Coffee was well brewed and two super polite African waitresses did excellent job. I found the ambiance to be very charming. Satisfactory experience, will come again.

Mediocre to above average. Pizza was ok, lacked that special seasoning and kinda hitting the soft side without a major crust. The pork was a bit overdone, but the potatoes were almost crisp on the exterior with a soft interior, major plus the seasoning. The Irish coffee is done right, with correct amounts and a good strong coffee base. Overall a good experience, but the thing that mattered the most is the warm, easily shy waiter. Such a kind smiling person. Kudos to you guys for your staff, they are your mirror!

Great garden, great staff

I have had one beer with my friends the other night and after returning from the bathroom I left and also forgot my phone on the table. The next day, Iulian, a waiter working there called me about the phone. His colleague the other night stored the phone safely for me to take it back. I have recovered it. I am grateful for both of them as they saved me a lot of hassle, work and effort with their noble gesture. Thank you Caro for having such collaborators!

It is a nice restaurant with good food, cozy atmosphere and big tables with comfortable sofas. Around 9/10 after dinner and drinks there is the option to go down to the disco and enjoy a sound in a club atmosphere.

All in all, Caro Vintage Club was a good experience, but with a couple of issues as well. About 4 months ago we came in for a late dinner, and just the other day we dropped by for breakfast. Service in both cases was good... very friendly and correct (and good English). The food and drinks both times was also good (taste). Especially the coffee was excellent... (I had an extra one for breakfast, just because it was so tasty). But in both visits there was an issue with the food, as well as an issue with the bill. No biggie, and we could settle the bill properly, but it shouldn't happen in the first place. At breakfast, it was partly bad communication from both sides (I could have been more specific), but I can't shake the feeling that internally there is a communication issue. At dinner, I received a different lemonade than I ordered (but still delicious), we ended up with a double portion of potato wedges (we didn't ask for it and could never eat it all), our dishes arrived 10-15 minutes apart, and part of my dish was hot but another parts had cooled off. At breakfast, it took 30+ minutes to inform us they didn't have one of the ingredients (which wasn't a problem in itself, but we ended up spending more than an hour for just breakfast), and that warm dish still arrived half cold. My dish had to go back after a misunderstanding because it had an ingredient that I said I cannot eat. It was solved well, but still... it shouldn't have happened. So... maybe we go back for a 3rd time (the taste was good and you do get value for money), but maybe we won't...

I have been here in the last years. For party 3 stars , the music is sometimes great, but the best part are the different reduction on prices. What is annoying sometimes are old creepy dudes which tend to come at you, but if you are with friends it is fine. Many Erasmus people tend to hang out here. The food is quite basic, the best part is the nice terrace o honestly.

Lots of international people. Mostly Erasmus students. A bit crowded since the place ain't that big. Prices for drinks are great 👍

I'm Italian. The pizza was absolutely average, if anything below that, a poorly made slab of mozzarella, but one and only one thing saved the evening - the waiter. Lovely service in that regard, man was a pleasure to be around and very welcoming, W Jerry indeed.

Food very tasty-we ordered the duck and the pork. But, indeed, one of the most expensive items. Cherry cheesecake was too sweet and not with fresh cherries, just marmalade. All in all it was ok, but a bit overpriced. Recommended.

Very nice place with a large terrace at the old town central of Cluj Napoca , large variety of cocktails and long drinks with coffee and a good cup of tea . If you are in the center of the town it’s a must visit place or if you are at night in town you must try the club , with many entertaining features . The coffee is good too 😊✌️🔥

Romanian Hospitality and beautiful, humble waitresses like Daniela make a visit here worthwhile. Honestly we came to late to have food but they arranged for us anyways. And even our difficult requests for extra this and that didn't bother Daniela too much. Honestly Boss, this women deserves a big raise!
