had a date with my boyfriend here, very comfy and friendly place. the food was very, very good and the wine was perfect. the prices are not even that high and it s a small but wide place where you can chill for a bit. i loved the lady and the food aswell.

Hidden 'gem' in the middle of Cluj. By far one of the best bistros in the city. Food was tasty and fresh. The signature desert is amazing.

Think twice before ordering something else besides the main course, the portions are quite big (but this does NOT come at the price of quality). They put a lot of work in design and in creating a pleasant atmosphere, and everything seems to be in synergy (from music, to furniture, accessoires etc).

A nice place to get lunch, it was a bit busier then most places at the moment I went which I liked. The Craft sausage with Cluj mustard sauce and thyme and green onion mashed potatoes was a good choice for lunch, especially liked the black condiment, didn't have it before. Sausages could have been a bit more seared. Will probably come back to try the Smoked pork hock but am I bit hesitant seeing different photo's of it, some which seem appealing and some that don't. I wen't back to try the Smoked pork hock, unfortunately this wasn't available at the time so I went for the Beef cheeks. They were tasty although the portion was a bit small and the sides were lukewarm, I would've preffered them a bit more warm. The prices are fair which didn't make this much of an issue for me.

Delicious food with Hungarian influences. The restaurant has a lovely garden in the backyard, perfect for the summer days.

Tasty food and excellent customer service. Pleasant ambiance. I tried eggplant salad which was delicious and good size even the small option. Will be definitely be back again!

It's not a bad place or something, but it's not for me. If u wanna try Hungarian traditional dishes, please visit this restaurant

Really nice place in the center of Cluj, but... My friend and I got food poisoning from the cabbage pasta 🤮 Half of the menu was not available (mmmm... Freezer issues?) Something went wrong and they didn't feel like taking the issue seriously apparently. Too bad as the waitress was really nice and sorry :(

I was here as part of a big group. We had some specially ordered swedish buffet. The restaurant was very flexible and quick in executing these. I really liked the duck with the cabbage. Cheescake was ok, nothing special.

The smoked ham hock is something else. Very tasty and good value for money. Good selection of Romanian wines

This place is a great place if you are looking for something Romanian / Hungarian traditional meals. I only tried the 3 dishes (mushroom papricas; Beaf Gulas; and for desert Kurtos with some type of cream and apples in the middle) in the picture, definitely recommended them all, suuuper tasty. The waitress KINGA was very kind, respectful, and very attentive, made us feel very welcome and royal served, she definitely deserves a raise!

I ate here twice during my short stay in Cluj, and loved it. I post only the photos from my first visit, the revisited tripe soup, the crispy salmon salad, and the chimney cake filled with creme du brouillait. Amazing taste. My second visit I had the mititeia with grilled vegetables, also so good. The service was really friendly both times, and the setting is very cozy and laid back. And both times I enjoyed a craft beer made in Cluj.

Excellent daily menu (white beans and broccoli gratin)! The location is excellent, in an old (16th century, sic!) house and the service was great!

Very Hot 🔥 inside, old and rusty building. The food was average, tasty but the plating was terrible. Non-alcoholic drinks are terrible. However, the desert was a little bit better. Overall, I don't recommend it, there are better places.

I appreciate that they honor the ancient recipes and they are creative to transform them into modernist presentation and taste.
