The waitress was really rude. We waited for at least 15 mins just to get a menu. After that we needed to ask her if she is gonna come back and get our order... That was 10 mins after we got the menu. The coffee was good after all, but I don't recommend this restaurant at all. You can find better ones with kind and nice service.

Make sure to have enough cash on you, otherwise you might end up like me and my partner and overhear the waitress complaining about you not giving her enough tips on your way out. The food was disappointing considering their prices which tend to be on the higher side, which is a shame because the location is great and I am sure there are many people who are fans of the Vienesse cuisine.

Nice location. Everything else is below any expectations. Bad food. Burned snitzel, supermarket tomatoes in the season. You should avoid this place. After one dinner here you will understand why other restaurants have waiting line.

We ordered just deserts... Cakes and ice cream were ok, nothing special, but the service was awful. Not nice, one of the waitresses just ignored us, because we were not one of her tables... It took 15 minutes to bring coffee and another 15 minutes for the bill. You can skip this place.

I had a very bad experience here. 1. Very slow service 2. Food was served cold for everyone at the table 3. Although we waited for over an hour for the food, when it came we didn't get any cutlery and we had to wait for at least another 10 minutes until we found a different waiter and asked for some cutlery. 4. At the end, although on the check envelope it says that the service is not included to my surprise it actually was. I've attached a picture of the check. Don't recommend, these days there are far better places that this one.

We wanted soup. The waitress said there wasn't any. But people around us are eating soup. What are they lying for? Everything else is overshadowed by this

Stale hamburger buns as bread, slow service

I had higher expectations of the restaurant. The service was good but the food not so. In the past they had the best ribs in town now it was just regular. My friend had some hash browns and cheese croquettes and they were very oily. The brownie was more like a cake. Inside at this time of the year it's a bit to cold but they have some heaters.

I came here on a Friday night with my friends, all the other restaurants in the city center were full, but this one was almost empty (on the outside heated terrace). So we were 7 persons but the tables were either for 2 or 4 people, so we asked the waiter if we could move one table or at least add some more chairs to a table. She rudely told us no, so we asked her if there is no way we can all 7 stay at the same table, and she told us no, but again, the terrace was empty. Very bad customer care.

Don’t get fooled by the many people - great location but that’s it. Clearly not fresh food (cabbage salat is very dry)… only went here because it was the only place with free tables outside…

The nice atmosphere is the only reason I'm giving it the star. Food was quite bad with wok vegetables coming straight out of a bag. The schnitzel was undercooked and they did not have a lot of items listed on the menu. And that includes the dish of the day which doesn't make a lot of sense. The service was also quite bad with rude and slow waiters. Will not be going there any time soon!

Decent portion of weiner schnitzel. Rather dry. It comes without sides, somehow I got talked into both fries and salad as he said potato salad, or potatoes and salad. Didn't come with any cranberry sauce or gravy. The waiter game really look like you wanted to be there. Can't say I would recommend this place at least for schnitzel.

We could not sit inside, didn't even see the i side as it is shown in the pictures!? Drinks were very good, staff was very nice. Bathrooms are right next to the kitchen, which is a bit questionable!

Nice heated terrace, pricey as all of the terraces in the area, we arived a little later in the day and some of the items on the menu weren't available. The food is for who enjoyes a German - Australian like fast food.

We had Bistro Vienna plateau for 4 persons. Excellent choice, really tasty

I loved the look of this place with the exposed old walls. The night I was there, there wasn't a lot of people so not a great atmosphere. Staff were attentive and the food was good. We had a table of 4 and everyone finished their food.

Food was decent. Other than that, the take full advantage of their location, meaning high prices for what they offer. Also, they charge for the food container if you wanna take away. I've never seen anywhere this kind of practice. The staff was overwhelmed with orders.

I have been to this place a few times and I have not been particularly impressed, but the last time we went there for dinner with our toddler was the last straw and I will not sprend 1 more dime in that place nor will they see us again! If I could give 0 or -1 ✴️ I would, as the service we received was not even worth that, let alone 1 ✴️ . We sat down at one of the tables on the patio. It was @6PM and we scanned the QR code to see the menu. Prices are exorbitant for what kind of food the offer, but our toddler was hungry and my hubby insisted on trying out this place again, although it was not impressive the last few times we've been there. So we are waiting, and waiting, AND WAITING...and no waiter comes to out table. We tried to get their attention a few times in the 15-20 minutes while sitting and waiting, but everyone "seemed" busy. At this point I lost my patience and went inside to see if I can get someone and place an order so I can get my child something to eat. I walk up to the bar and the bartender asked if I needed help with something, all the while one of the waitresses was picking up her drink order and another waitress was enjoying her meal. So I said yes, I need help placing an order because my child is hungry and we have been waiting for a while to place and order, even though we tried to get their attention nobody came over. So I asked if I can place the food order with the waitress closest to me who was picking up her drink tray. She looked at me annoyed and told me that it is not her who I should be ordering from, but one of her colleagues. She said she will let her colleague know and walked away. As she was walking away I mentioned that I don't have time to wait until her colleague decides to show up...all the while the bartender turned around and was busy doing something and the other waitress who was previously eating just acted she did not hear my conversation with her colleague and now was on her phone. Basically they could not care less 🤷. So I went back to our table told my husband how nobody cared to help and decided to go to Rhedey Cafe instead. It was the best decision! This place is not child friendly at all, hell, it is not adult friendly either, what did we expect really?!?!

The food used to be good and best ribs in town. Unfortunately with frozen precooked supermarket food it can't get up to the standards. The location is very very well placed but at that price are other options in a few steps distance that are worth the money.

This place is a disgrace to Vienna. “Rustic” vegetables were frozen then blackened in old grease. Salmon was so dry even the resident cat turned up its nose. Can’t understand how you can ruin such simple food. Kitchen was not busy. Worst meal ever eaten. Sausages were just ok. Condiments not fresh.

Nice place with a lovely terrace in a lovely location - right in the old town. Lots of wurst options, they are mostly know for this. But nice that there's also some vegeterian options, mostly salads.

Excellent ribs and the best beer in town.

Everything was great, the food was excellent. And when it got dark these lights turned on, it was phenomenal. The staff was great. I recommend that if you are in the near by, you definitely visit this bistro

Ordered 4 meals. Three took 25 minutes, the last one (schnitzel with fries) took over an our. In the end they charged some extra dishes and 30 lei for service. Stuff is unfriendly. Food was ok but not good.

Went for breakfast. Food was good, great meatballs. Would've liked a larger selection for breakfast meals, only 2 available. Overall, good service and food, but nothing to write home about.

I missed the taste of such a good cheesecake. However breakfast was ..just okay :)

The best apple strudel in România, almost as good as the best one in Vienna, at the Cafe Central. Serving was prompt, few polite words. We were two so chose a table for two. This was the third time we ate the strudel there (last one two years ago) and it was the same best, as usual. Very good breakfast, also.

Traditional Romanian cuisine with decent drink selection. A good place to relax for a evening out.

I had a terrible experience in this restaurant. The young waiter attended us was the worst waiter ever. Very lazy, slow and totally unfriendly. We ordered 2 beers and some food. After 25 min we didn’t get any food and any drink, i asked for having at least the beers but after others 10 minutes we decided to leave. Avoid this place

A lovely terrace in the pedestrian center, friendly staff, and the austrian food in the menu is something special.

The food was really nice and tasty. The place looks really amazing because they kept all the original walls and everything. The service very slow.

I liked the atmosphere, very central location, the furniture was nice, the menu was full of interesting options, the prices very good and the food very tasty. A good option when in Cluj.

Admittedly, we probably made the wrong menu choice since the food at other tables looked good, but we were very dissatisfied. We ordered from the "Austrian" dishes, with vegatables as an extra side dish. However, the vegatables turned out to be the prepacked frozen kind, without any seasoning or sauce. We would only recommend this place for drinks, or if you are a meat lover. The mojito was tasty, the dessert okay-ish. Pricy for the quality of food. Cute terrace and atmosphere.

Pros: * location * lava cake * very nice waitress Cons: * meat / cheese super hot and the fries and veggies almost cold * frozen food: not recommended: cordon blue, vegetable grilled, ementaler pane, the rustic fries. Also smaller portions than advertised. * drinks: negroni is a joke, just ask for colored ice, same thing. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Well, the food is not worthy the price. We received the ribs with cold fried potatoes. You get to eat cold food for 54 lei and some market bought mayo. We waited for more than 10 minutes for someone to come and clean our table while half of the staff was either smoking or wandering around the terrace. The location and view is ruined by the poor quality of food and service.

Five stars for an exceptionally friendly waitress! She served us fast, professionally and with a genuine smile on her face. Don't know her name but she said that she had just started to work at Bistro Viena (again) one week ago.
