The food was very nice. But it was a little bit expensive for what it was. You had to pay extra for the rice. I think it should be included because who eats just sauce without some type of carbohydrates lol. The location was nice and easy to get to. There was a lot of space in the restaurant. The garden was ver airy and very well shaded. I can recommend this place if you are willing to pay some extra :)

Just fantastic!! Had the cutlets, garlic naan, rice, butter chicken and Palak Paneer. Perfection! One of the best Indian meals we had in the world - we might come back tomorrow!

I live in Spain and visited Cluj for the weekend. I had no idea that Cluj has one of the best Indian restaurants in the entire Europe. What a great selection of dishes. I applaud the entire team of Indigo who have curates such a great menu, where they take you to an entire journey of what Indian food is and what are the different traditions of Indian food and culture. As an Indian, I was proud to read the menu and also the food is AUTHENTIC! Every flavour, every spice, dals, rice, vegetables, and naans reminded me of home. I try Indian restaurants wherever I go in Europe and this was just the best! I wish they open stores outside Romania as well. I had to come here twice.

Food was good. Mango Lassi was ok, I've had better. Parking is not available, so if you don't mind walking then it's worth the visit. Naan, Paratha and chicken dishes were very good. Definitely coming back.

Location is nice as it's placed around many other restaurants, feels like the area is alive. The outdoor terrace is simple overall but has a pleasent atmosphere. Food selection feels quite varied and it tastes great. They had no deserts aside from ice-cream and brownies... not very authentic. Prices are ok, expect to pay about 100 lei for 2 people.

The food came cold and it tasted old. Regarding your response: - the delivery was made with your own courier and I do not live so far away from the restaurant - the food was cold as if it had been cooked some time ago, especially the rice which was not even moist anymore, so please do not tell me you cook everything on the spot, that is simply not true - I gave you feedback right away through the delivery platform, I am sure you have received it - every time I order from your restaurant it is like a lottery (and I have been ordering for a long time). sometimes the food is fresh and delicious, sometimes it is not. So maybe instead of finding excuses for everything you should also look in house.

Food was excellent and very aromatic! We loved the vibe and the servers were polite and good to us! I recommend this for people that enjoy flavourful food! I ordered the indo chinese platter and was not disappointed

Very dissapointing experience. I've been în the past at the restaurant and every time I had stomach problems from the food, only at Indigo. A friend of mind suggested that we should go and I thought that maybe after the pandemic the situation should be different. No way. The mix meat plateau I ordered came with the meat cold, tasteless and impossible to be cut (lamb and pork)except the chicken. It seemed that the meat was kept in the fridge and then rewarmed. If that had happened în India it would have been a disaster (there the food is cooked fresh, nothing is left onto the next day). The lamb soup I ordered was good. Along time the experience with this restaurant was in general bad so I would not recommend to anyone. We are lucky to have a better alternative în Cluj, Ghandi restaurant, which developed their quality and services.

Great Paneer and Dal. The garlic naan with chilli definitely my favourite but I would prefer it more spicy. I would say quite small portions but very tasty. Quality- price can't complain but like I said maybe could be a bit bigger. Would recommend to add some more wines by the glass cause not everyone wants a bottle. Everything was freat until we ordered the Saag Kofta that was very very salty 😒. Pls do change the soap in the toilets it looks so so cheap 🙄. I definitely recommend the place for a great indian experience in Cluj.

The food was very good and unlike i have eaten in any other place. Acquaintances who went to india and tried the original recipes say that the food is really close to original indian food. The only negative is that the food taste varies from one day to another for the same menu

Best Indian food in Cluj-napoca so far. I do recommend the food served here. The restaurant it's not the best I've seen but if you want a food only Indian experience maybe it's the right place for you.

I've been there once and ordered form them a few times, to be honest I was shocked last time I ordered that it was actually good! I felt something more than just your typical paste from a jar in their food. Quite decent especially the ball desert which I forgot the name made me feel all nostalgic for jalebi (a indian treat I grew up with). Not too shabby. 3/5 and that's good dont get me wrong.

The smell inside is simply ravishing. We loved the food and the serving was very fast. The place was not too crowded at that time, but still we appreciated the speed. Simply delicious and we cannot wait to come back.

Haven't even left the restaurant yet but I'm going to write the review now. Loved everything: interior is spacious and I've never seen such clean plates in my life. Enjoyed: lassi, samosas, and chicken Kolhapuri (warning: extremely spicy, to my pleasant surprise)

I LOVED the restaurant. I was there 2 days ago with my child, and it was perfect. We ate the chicken madras 2x and it was spicy, but not too spicy. The service was also very good, we got the food in 15 minutes after we did the order. Its not too expensive for an indian restaurant, 36 lei for the madras and 14 lei for a good portion rice. It has a very nice atmosphere, the waiters spoke very good english, and they were very patient, a very good charachteristic to have, especially because they have such a huge assortiment of food. A 10 star if that was a thing. Also, a tip for indigo, if you look at the reviews, you always have the same text at the 5 stars, maybe change that.

Professional staff, really tasty food, reasonable price considering there are not many indian restaurants in Cluj-Napoca. My only complaint is that i had to wait a while(more than one hour) before my food arrived, and my order wasn't very big.

The food is pretty bland, but decent prices and serving sizes. Ordered a chicken curry in the restaurant, but after I started eating it i noticed the inside of the chicken was still cold (it was cooked, I imagine it was just reheated in the microwave or something). Told the waitress respectfully after I finished, since i didn't want the food to go to waste. Overall don't expect, much. Update to the person who replied: The restaurant was empty, it was around noon and there were maybe 2 tables. And the chicken was cold, like fridge cold, not room temperature cold. And no thank you, I'd rather not repeat the experience :)

Just ordered takeaway.... Man was it bad. Chicken vindaloo, chicken tikka and tandoori chicken - all with the meat way too dry; rice had no salt or flavour... The kashmiri naan was the only thing half decent. You guys need a cook because it used to be better.

I ordered Tikka masala but sadly it wasn't at all flavorful and Indian bread Naan and it was completely burned.

The food used to be really tasty, but the last order much under expectation, not at all what it used to be…

A very nice indian restaurant in Cluj. I have looked for indian food and finally I got the place that I would definately go back as soon as I will visit Cluj again. A very friendly and nice athmosphere. Nice music. The food is good but is not as spicy as it should be, according to the restaurant staff the taste is made that locals would be able to enjoy the flavours of food as in Romania people are not eating very spicy food. Next time I go will request the chef to make it as a original indian recipe. But overall I highly recommend the place for a night out alone, friends or family!

The food was more “romanian” indian, nothing even close to the original spices, intense flavor and cooked the way indians do it. My husband is from Pakistan so we have a lot of authentic food. Felt more like a romanian chef getting recipies from online and cooking them. We got 8 different plates, all same issue, so it cannot be some weird chance: 2 different types of chicken, 2 of rice, 1 eggplant, 1 paneer, 3 different types of paratha&naan. Not authentic cuisine, but good food. Great place for someone who doesn’t like strong spices and wants to try some indian food.

Wow it was good to eat Indian food again. The curry was tastey, nan was very good. If I’m ever in Cluj again I’ll go back. .

You have to be lucky. Once food is amazing, another time instead of soup you get water with color. Good thing is a customer service. After complain we’ve got new food another day, but explanation of bad one was that maybe kitchen made food in a hurry… also I was told that will wait 10 mins, and it took them 30, so not so much hurry. But the food we got another day was amazing and really tasty.

Later edit: The manager called to apologise, explained that the delivery protocol was not followed and said she will discuss with the staff. I'll give credit where credit is due: I highly appreciate her initiative and politeness and will consider ordering from Indigo in the future. Updated one star to 3 stars. ... Original message: this used to be my favorite restaurant until today. The carrier called the intercom and I answered, but the door didn't open. I called "is anyone there?" and nobody answered, so I just assumed it was a postman or a neighbor who forgot their keys. Half an hour later, my food was running very late, so I checked my phone. Three missed calls. Apparently it didn't cross the carrier's mind that he should at least try to call the intercom again. He just sat there for 10 minutes without calling the intercom! By the time I called, my hands were shaking from hunger - they usually take quite long to deliver - and all he did was blame me for keeping my phone on silent (I work from home and I need quiet around me). I called the restaurant, and instead of apologizing and offering some kind of compensation, they criticized me for not answering the phone. Apparently for these people, the most simple solution - just ring the damn intercom again, since it's right in front of you - doesn't seem commonsensical enough. I just couldn't believe how little client service culture they have. Today they lost a client and I lost my favourite restaurant. It doesn't matter how good the food is if you're an a-hole. Total disappointment.

Really delicious Indian food and the waitress went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. Strongly recommend and I'll be back

Expensive and ordinary. I now realise they may have some sort of incentive for students to leave positive feedback - I feel conned. I'm glad I found a far better and less expensive Indian restaurant not far away.
