I really love Sansara as a vegetarian restaurant. It is a little bit overpriced, but the food is simply delicious. I had a vegan burger with haloumi and I enjoyed a lot the textured, the bun, the sauce. I discovered that sweet potatos are not my favourite, but this dish was extremely tasty. The staff is also very nice, friendly and very careful.

Neat vegan recipes and good atmosphere. We arrived in a crowded room which was a little noisy in the afternoon, but it got better as some of the people left. Very nice tea serving in cast iron cups and very nice plant decor. Would come back!

A large menu with plenty of choice. We went for three courses, with no dessert. We started with soup (Thai and lentil), both very good, but one extremely hot and the other cold. The second courses were below average, including a tofu dish that was very dry. I asked for mayonnaise and it came about 15 minutes later, after I’d finished the dish. The third courses were good (curry and mushroom polenta), but again, one was cold and the other hot. Before I’d finished my main course, I was asked how I was paying, despite it being an hour before closing and with no offer of dessert. We were charged for the mayonnaise, which we noticed after paying (with 10% tip). This seemed petty and we complained because we didn’t get it in time, for which they refunded us in cash. Nice atmosphere, good location. Overall, not bad, maybe we got them on a bad night.

The true star was the Brownie with salted caramel and vanilla, a dessert that stood out with its rich chocolate flavor complemented by raspberry and cranberries. The overall ambiance was pleasant, and the service was satisfactory. While there's room for enhancement in some dishes, the dessert alone makes it worth a visit.

We stayed in Cluj 3 nights. Had dinner at Samsara twice! Our guide from Hoia Baçiu Project recommended this as we are vegetarian. The food, garden, drinks service: all 5 star! We were served very well by Alex who recommended us some traditional drinks and dishes. We really enjoyed the delicious meals and great atmosphere. We are absolutely coming back here.

Menu offers a wide ranging and quite special selection of vegetarian and vegan choices. Everything sounds delicious, so it is pretty hard to make a decision. I had the caramelized eggplant, which was pretty fantastic and the raw cake for dessert (see photos). The eggplant was amazing - creamy, savory, filling. The cake was a litttle too coconutty for my taste, but if you love coconut, this will entice you! As a female, dining solo, I felt welcome. Service could be a tiny bit more attentive, but it was still a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

It was a nice day outside so I got to take advantage of the patio for dinner. Really nice ambiance, nice decor and very large patio so everyone has there space. The service was good, friendly and quick. I got the guacamole to start, the vegan burger as my meal (with fries) and a carrot cake. To drink I got a lager and then an IPA. The guacamole was nice and tasted fresh. It was just missing something though but I can’t put my finger on it. But all in all it was fresh and tasty. The burger was good but not my absolute favourite. I would explore other things on the menu but if I have to order it again I would. The carrot cake was absolutely lovely! Great flavour and it was nice and moist. The beer was lovey, especially the IPA. All in all, it was a nice experience and I’d recommend going. Just a heads up - the kitchen stops about 1.5 hrs before closing. I went on a Friday and arrived at 9:20pm and the kitchen was closing at 9:30pm. Last call was at around 10:30pm and closing was 11:00pm.

Originally tried this as delivery and wasn’t a fan but glad I tried again in person. The ambiance is really nice, pretty lighting and lots of plants. The broccoli cream soup was not my favorite but the lentil soup was really good. The peach/ginger/turmeric lemonade was really tasty. The dumplings and hummus were great, the tempura mushrooms were a little heavy. Service was nice as well. Great vegetarian option.
