The food was very tasty and plentiful, we couldn't finish it because the was too large. It is very traditional Romanian food, so don't expect to find baby vegetables here- it's a huge selection of very good meat variations with our without sauces and potatoes/polenta. Recommendation - add some burduf cheese to your order, it goes really well especially with polenta. In case you were wondering, they also have sarmale, the ultimate Romanian dish in my opinion, and they were very nice :) The staff was very friendly and spoke some English too. Definitely a recommendation for really good Romanian food!

I went there during lunch time, the food was delicious, the stuff was very kind and the food serve fast. The restaurant inside has a traditional Romanian style, if you are close to the area definitely you need to have a visit. The portions was big but the prices low and this is how i love it ☺️ Update 13-09-2023 Still the same quality and now we have also English menu

We came with a large party, they were able to accommodate us. Best ciorba în pâinea I’ve ever had. Make sure to get the onion on the side. Can’t wait to come back

If I could, I would rate with 10 out of 10. Best services. Best food. Cosiest staff, Sebi was awesome, I am still amazed how his memory works and how he can remember all of our order, that was huge actually :)) You have to come here, if you want to feel the romanian vibe. Please try salata de vinete, mici and platou traditional. ♥️

The food was delicious and the service was friendly and fast, but the dirty table surfaces ruined the whole experience. At first I sat down at one table, thinking maybe I was just unlucky, but the next table I sat at had the same problem. The sleeves of my clothes, as well as the hair of the previous visitor, literally stuck to the tabletop. I hope that at least the kitchen was cleaner. If you are not squeamish about such things, I can recommend this place for delicious traditional food.

We love the daily menu served here. With just a bit o luck, you could eat and leave in under 30 minutes. The food is more than delicious and you always have 2 course to choose from.

We visited on a Thursday for lunch. This place came at a recommendation of a local friend. 3 adults and 3 toddlers. We enjoyed lunch very much. The food was large portions and delicious. The staff was amazing and so very accommodating. Provided attention and suggestions. Even offered us a shot of Palinca with lunch. We will be back and can recommend you to visit for sure. Thank you for such an enjoyable lunch.

I'm a regular that really enjoys traditional foods. This place serves the best "Bean Soup with smoked meat" and "Breaded Cheese" in town hands down. Great service and delicious food.

“Varza a la Cluj” - best ever eaten. “Papanasii” - also soooo good and tasty. Very big dishes, you cannot finish. The french fries - a lot, very tasty, big and a lot. Thanks for this experience, it was a very nice one!

Wow, do you want to feel the Romanian spirit? Go to Dacian house on Brâncuși street. The food was exceptional, the staff excellent. The "țuica" just how should be. Tripe soup.....the best. What else should I say, no words how pleased l was. Definitely will go again.

The place tries to offer a tradition atmosphere, and they are successful in this regard. The food selection is diverse, from traditional dishes to more modern variants. Prices are a bit high, and depending on the number of clients, service is sometimes on the slow side. Will probably return.

This place is perfect for a good Romanian lunch or dinner. We were a large group and everyone liked their dish. The atmosphere is cosy and warm, the waiter was very polite and kind. If you want to eat traditional Romanian food that is made like home than this is the place. I highly recommend this place!

Awesome authentic Romanian experience. The food, the waiters, the music, the tables all are Romanian themed. The service was very quick although it looks quite full. The food is incredibly diversed and tasty. It's a good place for big groups and small ones.

This restaurant offers traditional Romanian food. Stuffed cabbage, and papanasi are both amazing here. They have great beer and wine options as well. Its also a nice place to take a date.

Excellent traditional Romanian food and impeccable friendly service. Wide variety of meals to choose from, including multiple platters to share. Setting is cozy, staff is dressed in traditional clothes and prices are very affordable. Definitely worth the detour while in Cluj!

Great selection of traditional and delicious food, nice portions with a friendly and flexible staff who wants to make sure all of our wishes come true. The athmosphere is really good and relaxing with a nice touch of romanian culture. I had however a little disappointment with the transyvanian soup with tarragon as the meat was undercooked and they used way too much oil to make it.

Authentic restaurant & delicious plates...a must to go place

Worst goulash soup i have ever ordered that was more like a low-cost stew full of potato. The so-called traditional menu has nothing to do with traditional Romanian recipes. There is absolutely no difference in taste between Radauti soup and tripe soup, apart from the meat used. It's my first ever negative review to a restaurant, but I will definitely avoid this place in the future.
