Hotel is acceptable for what you pay. It says it's a 4-star, but I'd argue it's probably a somewhat decent 2-star. It's supposed to have a gym, though upon asking the host if we could use it, he said it's closed. Rooms are worn out, with damage to walls, furniture and windows. Beds are alright, but not something I'd like to ever have again. The AC was broken in the first room I got, though staff was kind enough to offer me a second room where the AC was halfway functional. Bathroom was clean, however the towels were quite dirty. The shower cabin was also leaking and the shower's mount was too weak to handle it's own water pressure so it sprayed against the roof, causing a bit of a flood in the bathroom. Breakfast was lousy, with the "fruit juice" being water with concentrate, cheese looking like it came from last century and the scrambled eggs (that were supposed to be hot) were cold. An elevator is present, but it's very slow and requires you to hold a button permanently for it to move, not to mention the fact it doesn't have an inside door. Overall I'd say this hotel is fine, but not something I'd write home about.

The people here are very kind, the beds were amazing, shower was amazing, breakfast was even more amazing (grilled vegetables, amazing cake, smoked salmon, homemade pancakes, and so much more. Sure, the hotel is a bit outdated, but for the price you can't complain. We wish we could've stayed longer! Next time when we're in Cluj we will go back to hotel Ary.

Well, just found a pair of socks on the heater. Warm pair, good quality. I guess that this time of year, you pay for two nights, you get a pair of socks

Very good place to stop by if you're in the zone. The politeness of the hosts and the big and comfortable rooms will make you feel warm and welcomed. I would have given the location 5 stars, but it is not in the beautiful center of the city. It is near the train station, tho. This place really deserves this good rating!

Great place to stay in Kluz. We've got big, very clean room with a bathroom, very nice view from window. No problem with parking. Nice staff and delicious beakfast!

Not a 4 star hotel by any means. For the price I paid, it was an ok stay, but the hotel my friend stayed in was far nicer. My room was extremely dusty. When I booked I the details stated that there was free parking, so I assumed there would be a separate lot of a garage, but it was purely just street parking which is open to the general public. The breakfast was good however, there's no other food option on the premises. I will say, where they're lacking in facilities, they do make up for in hospitality. The people that work there and owner are as hospitable as a friends very generous parents which really did make up for any other shortcoming. If I were to do it all over again though, I would have gone with a different hotel.

The hotel is the most common. Solid three stars. Not any more. The rooms are not very clean, especially in closets and lockers. There is no bidet in toilet, soundproofing bad, lain beds. Restaurant prices are quite high. Has not met my expectations. Next time I will stay in the Hotel Paradis **** Cluj-Napoca Strada Ciocârliei 47 Cluj-Napoca 400619 Romania. Cheap hotel and looks cheap. A lot of corners and steps, also floor is not level in most areas. Small rooms, bad lighting, awful beds, tiny windows not enough to air the room. And extremely slow and stupid elevator. The only good point goes to breakfast.

Visited the hotel during a one week conference. Don't ask for anything(milk, spoons) from the older gentleman who serves in the restaurant, you might get it but he will complain a lot while doing it- fake atitude. Considering that the staff represent the face of the hotel something should be done about such attitudes. Conference room, though it seems spacious is not suited for projections, due to all the pillars someone will definitely not see the projection screen. It is also on the 4th floor so get ready for exercise. Not suitable for wheelchairs either due to the fact that the elevator doesn't run up to this level. It did have some pluses- the female staff were helpful, food good although others considered some dishes too salty. No mentions about the rooms since i didn't spend the night.
