Perfect atmosphere for us. Not expensive, friendly

One of the oldest hotel in Coburg. The person at the reception was friendly. Rooms look a bit old and one can sense the oldness of the hotel once they step in. But still the rooms are neat and tidy. The bathroom was clean and hygienic

Amazingly located, full of charm. Markus was welcoming from the second we booked over the phone. He led us to a free parking spot, and let us choose our rooms since Germany had just reopened and the rooms weren’t yet booked out. Our room was renovated facing the street, but not loud at night (at least we didn’t think so) and my mother in law chose one of the older rooms with wooden charm, but with a nice clean modern bathroom! In the Morning, Markus had prepared a breakfast for kings in the dining room / Stube, where you can view a lot of historical pieces from Gerberhof and the region. Markus is very nice and we all want to come back again! When in Coburg we will definitely give Markus a call :) thank you!
