My
recent
stay
at
Pierre
&
Vacances
in
Colmar
left
me
extremely
dissatisfied.
The
hidden
costs
associated
with
this
accommodation
were
a
major
frustration.
They
are
charging
a
hefty
30
euros
for
early
check-in,
but
the
catch
was
that
you
still
couldn't
access
your
room
if
you
arrived
between
12:00
and
14:00,
due
to
the
reception
being
closed.
The
parking
fee
of
10
euros
per
day
was
another
unpleasant
surprise,
especially
considering
that
parking
outside
was
free
on
Sundays.
The
rooms
were
a
paradox,
attempting
to
squeeze
a
full
kitchen
into
a
standard
hotel
room,
resulting
in
cramped
and
tiny
quarters
with
hardly
enough
space
to
move
comfortably.
Cleanliness
was
a
serious
issue.
The
room
was
plagued
with
exfoliating
paint,
dust,
and
dirt
accumulating
in
the
corners,
and
spiderwebs
hung
menacingly
over
the
bed
from
the
ceiling.
The
bathroom
was
a
complete
mess,
with
stained
showers
and
unclean
toilets.
The
swimming
pool
was
almost
alive
-
full
of
green
stuff
growing
on
the
side
walls.
To
make
matters
worse,
the
staff's
behavior
left
much
to
be
desired.
They
were
barely
present,
and
when
they
were,
they
exhibited
rudeness
and
a
constant
inclination
to
charge
additional
fees.
Wifi
stopped
working
after
the
second
day.
Lastly,
the
location
of
the
property
is
far
from
the
city
center,
which,
for
a
small
city
like
Colmar,
can
be
quite
inconvenient.
In
conclusion,
I
would
strongly
advise
against
staying
at
Pierre
&
Vacances
in
Colmar.
The
hidden
fees,
cramped
rooms,
cleanliness
issues,
and
unhelpful
staff
made
for
an
unpleasant
and
disappointing
experience.
