This hotel boasts a central location, yet you won't find many tourists since all the main tourist attractions are within a 10-minute walk. The reception staff is very friendly and organized a guided boat tour for us. Despite the fact that the breakfast lacks standard warm options like omelets with bacon, there is plenty of cheese, ham, great bread, cereals, boiled eggs, yogurts, and freshly baked pastries, which the staff brings every morning from 6:30 am. Furthermore, you can get free of charge coffee, tea, milk and hot cocao from the coffee machine 24/7. The hotel's design features pleasant, bright colors and interesting decor. The rooms are small, but that's all you need if you're spending most of your time outside. The main advantage is the air conditioning in each room! I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. Thank you so much for the warm welcome.

Welcoming staff and common areas including cute surprises like the open kitchen (with snack options) and foosball table. Room decor was cheery and everything was clean with a good layout. Bonus breakfast + coffee at all hours and walkable area. 5/5+

The location is close to both the train station and the city center. The staff is concerned. The rooms are clean, but don't have too high expectations, overall it has more of a hostel feel.

Good points were breakfast, nice seating area with crockery and cutlery for outside food, coffee and tea available all day. Location was convenient to the train station and old town. Bad points were that the room was in the roof space of the building and was uncomfortable. Couldn't get to one side of the bed without ducking under a beam, which was a head knock hazard at night. Room air conditioning was locked to 20 degrees celsius and we couldn't change it. Asked if it could be set to 24 degrees and the front desk said they would do that, but nothing changed. With the aircon off the room was extremely hot (even at night when it was pleasant outside), and with it on the room was too cold. The room had windows in the roof that faced the sky, they let light in but there was no view. We arrived before check-in time and the front desk staff made it clear that we were not welcome before check-in time. Not a pleasant greeting or even mention of the available hotel facilities that we could use in the meantime. Similar story when we came back to check-in, just handed a key, no mention of which floor the room was on or even the direction of the lift. They also placed a hold on my credit card several days in advance for one nights accommodation in case of a no-show. On arrival we fully paid for the whole stay in cash but they refused to release the hold until we concluded our stay. Their excuse was "it is the process". Visa and Mastercard standards state that holds are to be released when the purchase is settled and the reason for the hold no longer exists. The hold was eventually released but the fact that they appear to have little regard for how they treat a customer's credit card or what is fair to the customer is of concern to me. I wouldn't like to be involved with them if a bigger issue arose.

We stayed here for the night when passing through Colmar and wish we'd stayed longer as the city is great and the hotel is excellent. The rooms are modern, comfortable and a great colour scheme. Bathrooms are small but well laid out and the water pressure in the shower is *chefs kiss*! The hotel has a well stocked breakfast buffet which was delicious and is served in the common area around reception where there are tables, sofas, TV etc. (If you have ever stayed in a Locke Hotel, this will feel familiar) They also have a lunch fridge which you can take a pre prepped lunch from (for a fee) which is a nice touch. Whilst we were there, there was a marathon on the following day so we were unable to use the parking outside the hotel, however there is a large, free carpark a 5 minute walk away at Place du Capitaine Dreyfus which we used instead and I think actually made leaving simpler due to the main road out of Colmar being easily accessible. The hotel is in a good location, a short walk from the old town and Little Venice, with a Carrefour convenience store over the road and numerous cafe's, restaurants, and boulangerie's nearby. I highly recommend Paul & Pia and will definitely stay here again if we return to Colmar!

Sweet pastel & colorful hotel in Colmar. The good things are 1) convenient location near train station approx 5-8 minutes walk 2) lovely pink & pastel design 3) some choice of breakfast e.g. croissant, ham, coffee and juices 4) nice service for tourist. What to consider is the size of the room. It is small to fit 20-25 inches luggage for two persons.

Did have an excellent stay at the hotel. Check in was fast and easy, friendly staff. Room was okay, a bit cramped but still okay for europe standard, bed was comfy, nice pillow. Bathroom was clean. What i like about the room is their fun colorful room with several handmade furniture giving the exotique feeling.. very nice and beautiful Location is very near to the train station and also within walking distance to the old picturesque town. Breakfast was great, very homy and nice warm food. Very good value for money. Theres a locker room at the basement where i stored my suitcase after checkout for free.

Nice rooms and very good location! Parking was possible just in front of the hotel, and on sunday, it was free. The hotel kindly cancelled one of our rooms without fees although it was some hours after deadline. A negative experience was that one collegue was not allowed to use the toilet of the hotel just 4 hours after checkout and was asked to use the toilet on the train station. This is not costumer friendly!

This hotel is more like a hostel style. The rooms were very tiny with barely any room to place bags, there was no full-length mirror, the rooms were very noisy, the shower made a huge mess and left puddles of water everywhere and the breakfast was really just bread. It is a pretty hotel and would work fine if you just need a place to sleep but I would not recommend it for a couples vacation because it is very basic and the absolute minimum. The best perks were that it is cheap and that it is right by the station so you can walk there but on the flipside you do hear train sounds.

Because of the elevator noise sleeping is impossible. Elevator engine has a very high noise, so we can't sleep all night. The shower cabin accumulates water. The water overflowing shower cabin. I said these problems to the hotel manager. But she does nothing! Hotel isn't worth its price.

The very best location, walking distance from train station and the Colmar center. Quiet place, very decent breakfast. The staff assisstance was superb! They worked hard to find us a suitable restaurant to dine and specially Ms Victoria went out of the way to help us book a PCR test before our flight in Paris. Wonderful experience indeed!

Booked a room an hour before arrival. - hotel closed - we where rebooked to a different hotel (Why still list your hotel when you are closed?) - said she called (did not) - hotel we are booked to is very outdated, it is not what we would have chosen. - She said the price was the same but the hotel we are staying at now is listed cheaper. - the bathroom and carpet in the rebooked hotel are terribly old fashioned and outdated - I feel cheated into an outdated hotel. You could have just said you where closed and closed the listings on the booking websites.

Good location and close to the old town. Funky decor, very colourful. Substantial buffet breakfast. Staff helpful with arranging taxis and giving recommendations. Has a lift and luggage storage for us who don’t travel light!

The hotel is clean, well located and breakfast was plentiful, though vegetables were missing. The staff are friendly as long as you don't have any issue. Our room was located next to the elevator which made noise all the time even though I requested a silent room. I gave 3 stars because of the attitude of the staff and because of the noise from the elevator.

(Translated by Google) Nice little clean hotel. On the other hand tiny room with tiny window. For a couple this is not acceptable at the asking price. Very disappointed and problematic of flooding in addition to the shower ...
