👍👍 I was able to taste several wines from this winery for free of charge Sunday morning. They closed at noon on that day. The owner told me that Riesling and Gewurztraminer are grapes specially grown in this Alsace region. The end taste of Riesling is more mineral and clean and that of Gewurztraminer... People often mention wines, wine, Gewurztraminer,

I was able to taste several wines from this winery for free of charge Sunday morning. They closed at noon on that day. The owner told me that Riesling and Gewurztraminer are grapes specially grown in this Alsace region. The end taste of Riesling is more mineral and clean and that of Gewurztraminer is more rosy and aromatic. Gewurztraminer is sweeter so that it is good as a dessert wine. Their Gewurztraminer 2009 (Late Harvest) maintains 100% sweetness, which tasted rich and very aromatic but actually not too sweet, so it seems good for desserts. I liked it. Other two signature Gewurztraminer wines tasted similarly aromatic but less sweet. Actually, the differences in sweetness are subtle. Then, I tried their Riesling 2015. It was moderately dry and fruity and the end is mineral. It would go well with seafood and fish, etc. I ended up with buying Riesling 2015 (8,00 euros) and Gewurztraminer 2016 (9,40 euros). I believe it was a good deal. I recommend visiting this winery.

Great place to sample and buy some wine! The family owners are very kind and friendly, and shared a lot of their history with us. Would definitely recommend!

Good taste of wine. Not expensive, but real Alsase quality.

This was the first place we visited on our trip and I was so pleased. We had a chance to taste a few wines. I've always enjoyed Gewurztraminer wines and it was specific to this region. I don't know a lot about wine, and not really interested if I'm being honest, but I really enjoy drinking it. :) I like how the flavors change when paired with food. My only regret is that I didn't buy the bottles I had intended to. We were going to explore Colmar a bit, and didn't want to carry the bottles around. But we ended up not having enough time to go back :( I'm hoping it will give us a reason to go back!

I don't know that much about wines but I sure know a great bar when I see one. Lovely people, relaxed "recluse" atmosphere in the early evening during a busy summer day. And yes, I very much like what I was served, too.

There is no wine tasting. No degustation. It's just a wine shop. I did not understand the concept of ,, degustation,, without degustation. You must buy a bottle to try it. Just go to any wine shop.

We walked from Colmar train station to the city center and found our way to this lovely winery. We tasted several of their wonderful wines and liked them so much we ordered a case to be shipped home. I really love some of the varietals that are harder to find back in the states - especially the whites - Pinot Auxerrois, Chasselas and Sylvaner. The 2015 Pinot Nior is also a very nice and light Pinot. I plan to order another case soon as they are so reasonable to buy even with the import fees. Hope to return to this beautiful region again someday.

The sales guy was cold and not helpful, no advice at all even though we said that we would like to buy some wines but we had little knowledge of Alsace wine. We arrived at around 5pm, maybe it was too late for him.
