Fantastic location, right inside the Parc du Champ de Mar. It's only a small but very well designed hotel. Both sides of the rooms either face the park, or the Foutaine à eau potable. Here I got to mention that it is a slightly bit better hotel for couple or business stays rather than family ones. Reason being that we are a family of 5 (5 yo and two 2yo), for France not many accept this party size. While this hotel did, the size of their rooms do struggle a little still with a sofa bed and two cot beds, even though we had upgraded to a suite with a lovely big balcony. Also what we had noticed is that we received plenty of water and towels on the first day, but none of it for the second. Their pool and Spa área is outstanding. Here again, kids are only allowed in between 12 and 2pm, which isn't really enough but luckily the park offers some water activities for the little ones. Breakfast is very good, great selection of continental buffet and warm dishes vía a la carte,although service is a little slow, and again, you will not be offered high chairs. A let-down is their restaurant being closed in the summer months on Sundays and Mondays. Otherwise, great interior & exterior architecture and only 10min walk from Colmar old-town. Thumbs up, might return but without kids ;)

I’ve been to L’Esquisse Hotel & Spa in Colmar, France several times, and every stay has been nothing short of exceptional. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt und werden definitiv ein weiteres Mal kommen. Das Hotel liegt direkt in einem schönen Park & ist nur wenige Gehminuten von der Altstadt und Little Venice entfernt. Die Zimmer sind geschmackvoll und modern eingerichtet. Wir haben auch den Spa Bereich zweimal genutzt, welcher u.a. einen Indoor Pool, ein Hamam, eine Sauna & einen Whirlpool umfasst. Insgesamt fanden wir die Größe und die Ausstattung des Spa Bereichs perfekt für etwas Entspannung während des Städtetrips. Das Frühstück wird im anliegenden 2 Sterne Restaurant JYS in Buffet Form serviert. Auf Unverträglichkeiten (z.B. Gluten) wird sehr gut eingegangen und auch sonst findet man hier alles, was das Herz begehrt. Insbesondere die Käseauswahl war hervorragend! Das Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis stimmt hier auf jeden Fall!

Das Hotel liegt an einem kleinen Park und ist 5 Minuten fußläufig von der malerischen Altstadt entfernt. Es gibt eine Tiefgarage (25,00€/Tag). Es ist mega modern eingerichtet. Spa-Bereich mit Pool, Sauna und Hamam sehr nett. Zimmer sind schön groß mit Balkon. Einziger Punkt, den ich hier bemängeln würde, dass es auf der separaten Toilette kein Waschbecken gibt. Frühstück als Buffet, klein aber fein.

Ein wunderschönes Hotel mit bester Lage. In Kürze im Zentrum. Das Hotel ein unglaubliche schönes Design. Sehr stilvoll. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und konnten direkt unser Auto in der Tiefgarage parieren lassen. Hier muss aber vorher auch reserviert werden. Sehr feines Frühstückbuffet, schöne Zimmer und im Grundsatz nettes Personal. Die Wartezeit auf ein Getränk sowie Snack in der Lobby war leider extrem lange. Warum auch immer, da wir die einzigen waren. Sonst top!

A beautiful, stylish hotel with rightly 5 stars. Absolute top hotel with a beautiful wellness area. And the restaurant JY’s is also excellent. We had a 6course Menu, everything at its finest. Awesome.

The Hotel is small, beautiful, and packed with all that you can need. Very classy stylish and comfy. It has a Spa and indoor pool too. Breakfast is just exactly what one needs to start a day. Tje Hotel is nestled in the middle of the park and just across the Old Fairy Tale Town like of Colmar. We asked the reception to book us a restaurant somewhere nearby since the Restaurant located at the Hotel is closed on Sundays and Mondays. On evenings, there is a jazz singer at the lobby bar which was nice to have after a long day of buzzing around the town. Just a little to improve is the quality of Housekeeping, after a turndown service, the coffee capsule and cream was not refilled, cups were not replced to new clean ones, when I asked for it, they came and brought coffee but they run out of cream. There is no toothbrush at the bathroom amenities, and the bathrobes are size for children and also the sleepers. It's small little things, but they matter, especially the room night price is almost 500.00 Euros.

Everything was fantastic, the minute we walked into the front door until we left. We stayed for 3 nights in one of the suites. This hotel experience alone would make me come back to Colmar for vacation. If you are considering about visiting Colmar and staying at this hotel - just stop and book it. You won’t regret it.

Unser Aufenthalt war kurz, jedoch haben wir einen Eindruck erhalten. Sonderbestellungen werden entgegengenommen und der Service ist sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Die Zimmer werden mehrmals täglich aufgeräumt, wenn gewünscht. Die Cocktails an der Bar sind sehr zu empfehlen und die Barkeeper beraten gerne. Der Wellnessbereich ist sehr schön, gross und modern. Leider hat die Dampfsauna nicht funktioniert und eine Ecke des grossen Pools war etwas verschmutzt. Der Eisraum und das Design des restlichen Bereichs waren unsere Highlights. Der Whirlpool war angenehm warm & sehr entspannend. Es liegt direkt an einem wunderschönen Park mit einem Brunnen, also eine tolle Aussicht vom Zimmer aus.

Sehr schönes Hotel mit perfektem Service. Preise sind angemessen. Die Zimmer sind sehr modern und sehr komfortabel. Super Frühstücksbuffet. Unser kleiner Hund wurde bestens aufgenommen und versorgt. Das Hotel liegt sehr gut gelegen: die Altstadt ist bestens zu Fuß erreichbar. Bestes Hotel in meiner Reisekarriere.

unique one of a kind Hotel ,surrounded by greenery, it beautiful inside out. Clean specious rooms with everything you need. Huge balcony facing the garden with quite neighbourhood. The service is excellent and special thank you for Camille and the and short haired Head of the Bar that made us feel like home. This hotel is must visit. Everything from the sheets to the bed and the layout design of the room is amazing. An und für sich ein schönes Hotel in zentraler Lage. Aber ACHTUNG: Bei der Buchung werden Zimmer mit Sicht auf den Park angeboten. Man bekommt dann aber nicht etwa ein Zimmer mit Blick auf den Park 'Champ de Mars', sondern auf der Rückseite (mit lauter Strasse), mit Sicht auf ein Pärklein. Auf meine Reklamation wurde nicht eingegangen. Die Tür zu unserem Zimmer war so schwergängig, dass sie meine Frau nicht öffnen konnte, von der Innenseite schon gar nicht. Sehr angenehm zu wissen, dass meine Frau bei einem Notfall auf Hilfe von aussen angewiesen gewesen wäre während meiner Abwesenheit. Hätte ich eher bei einem 1 bis 2 Sterne Hotel erwartet. Mühsam, dass man sein Auto nicht selber parken kann im hoteleigenen Parking.

The hotel and staff are terrific. We stayed for 3 nights in room 106 and it was a beautiful, comfortable and very clean room with a balcony and view of the park. The property is modern but very warm. The staff was very attentive from the moment we checked in. The bar and lounge is very inviting and the bar staff very friendly and the drinks inventive. The seasonal music and bar in The Chalet was festive and fun. I highly recommend this hotel for a quiet and relaxing stay that feels like a respite in the city.

Was a very pleasant trip, only sad that the children are only accepted in the pool from 08:00 to 10:00 so we had no change to use it. In add, we had a only 1 bad experience with the room service and a frozen salmon... Other than that, the apartment is great, well decorated and well located. Last point was that it was impossible to put the temperature stable, it went very down in the night. With a baby it was hard to manage.

not sure why the ratings are so high, this is not worth the hype. when we first checked in, the receptionist had an attitude and we didn’t have the best experience. the room is modern but not functional, where the bathroom doesn’t have a sink and you have to go to another room to wash hands. and there was hair on the pillow and grossed us out. also not all the outlets worked properly so it wasn’t as convenient when you’re charging a phone or laptop. the temperature in the room didn’t go below 24c and it was so hot the entire night, we asked the receptionist and they weren’t helpful again. the only nice part was the bellman who helped us carry our luggages. the location is about a 10min walk to downtown, not the closest imo. we will not come back

Hotel was in a great location and the staff were very friendly and were more than happy to help with any request. Room was very nice and the spa services included were a delight to visit.

A new Hotel that just popped up in my Google search at the right time. I liked the pictures and booked it spontaneously for my romantic trip to beautiful Colmar. I was not disappointed! The rooms were nice, the concept of an integrated bathroom interesting. The balcony with it‘s spectacular sun shielding made the morning beautiful. The service was excellent and I really have to give kudos to the guy who valet-parked our dog hair infested car. The reception was very warm and welcoming and our drink at the excellent designed bar the perfect ending for a nice evening. We really enjoyed our stay.

Hello, We were guests in this beautiful Place and were more than happy! Everything was amazing, the rooms clean with a nice view from the balcony, the spa area with all the goodies and Not to forget the stuff!! We felt extremly welcome, especially with our dog (ridgeback 62kg)! You can imagine that we had mixed feelings about the size and of they would accept him, because in the confirmation they just allow „little Pets“… As soon as we arrived the whole stuff was lovely about him and treated him with so much attention! They even put two bowls in our room for him! The perfect hotel for a short Trip to colmar with your dog! A huge thank you to the stuff from the reception, bar and of course the breakfast! You See, we Could Write a book about all the good things!! Last but not least, the breakfast! All fresh and quality products, from Bread, over cheese and meat! Brilliant service at the table with special orders like porched eggs, tasty omletts and all you‘d like to eat!! We van only recomend to stay there!

This is a gem of a hotel. We stay with MGallery and Sofitel all the time and this is amazingly outstanding compared to most run down and unfriendly Sofitel and MGallery French properties. We are returning customers and the level of personalized service provided was amazing. All members of staff are amazing, from the GM to housekeeping. The GM managed to create a perfect hospitality experience. I don’t even think there is much room for improvement. All All Accor Diamond privileges are observed without asking, which is a great bonus. We left today and we are already planning our next visit. Thank you for an amazing weekend to all at the hotel!

Wonderful hotel, everything was just flawless. Room was comfortable and beautiful, staff was very welcoming. The highlight of the stay was definitely the spa / swimming pool area- it was really spacious and relaxing. Would love to come back again!

We thought we had booked a room for 4 nights but that wasn’t the case (maybe transaction didn’t go through cos of card issues or we simply didn’t press the button). When the team didn’t find our details, they offered us the best rate for our room. The hotel is very new and the property itself is beautiful. The bed was big and comfortable and the room we got had a sofa bed that can be converted to a bed for extra guests. Special shout out to Margot for assisting us on the first day. The only small thing I would say is that the design of the room is a bit weird as the bathroom had no sink so we had to walk the length of the room to wash our hands.

A brand new hotel that opened a year ago. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The rooms are nice and modernly furnished. The breakfast is also good. It would give a five out of five. Two things I would change: No reservation in the spa and for breakfast. And a regular restaurant would be nice. There is only the two Michelin star restaurant and that is booked up well in advance.

I booked this hotel to think that we will get a five star service. The design of the hotel is high quality, rooms are comfortable but the service is definitely not five star. First of all hotel accepts children but there is almost no food suitable for children and food is served in a very limited amount of time from 7 pm to 10 pm for room service only and no hot food or any food for children except some cold cuts and cheese plates which are definitely no child friendly. No room service or any hot food served in any place of the hotel after breakfast all day long until 7 pm. Yesterday we came from the Christmas markets to have rest and order some snacks for our little girl at 4 pm. We sat to the lounge, I asked to a waiter if we can order some snacks for our daughter while we have a cup of tea. She wanted to ask to the kitchen, after waiting a while she turned back to the all day menu and offered me some dishes from there such as smoked salmon and local cuts which is obviously not suitable for a child. When I was just leaving for a plan b she offered me to bring me french fries and ketchup mayonnaise and I accepted. We waited for a while, little one started to get more hungry and fussy then another waiter told that they can not serve any food at the moment in a very cold and rude way. What kind of five star hotel can not serve hot food even for a child until 7 pm. I am unhappy to choose this hotel for my family. I am uncomfortable to think how to feed my child all day long instead of relax and enjoy our holiday.

Absolutely lovely stay in the beautiful city of Colmar. Situated equally between the historic Christmas Markets/Petite Venise and the train station. The rooms were comfortable and well sized, with excellent amenities. The service (esp. Margot!!) was outstanding. Do not miss the swanky bar with outstanding classic cocktails and great service (thanks, Greg!). Cannot wait to come back.
