👍👍 We had a great dinner. Everything worked out really well. The staff is really friendly and pleasant. We ended up being 12 instead of 9 people and they quickly added an extension to our table without any fuss. The food was really tasty and the presentation beautiful. Of course the prices are a bit hi... People often mention good, nice, service, restaurant,

Of course the prices are a bit higher, but it is definitely worth it. We loved it and will visit again soon!

We were visiting Cologne and this appeared at first sight to be quite a nice and different option for myself and my partner to enjoy. We arrived at 730 on a Sunday evening and the place was fairly quiet so we anticipated no issues with being served. We ordered a ceviche to start, some drinks and two mains (the chicken and the beef heart). There was only one server that night serving all tables and it was clear he was too busy as it took us 10 minutes to get our orders taken. After this it was another 15 minutes before we were served our drinks (which included a bottle of water and a corn drink from Peru which did taste rather nice). The ceviche took around 30 minutes to arrive. It was small in portion size for the price but was very nice. However, the problem began after this. Having had our orders taken at 740 it was almost 2 hours before we had our main dishes served to us. This was rather frustrating and we asked a couple of times how long it would take for the food to arrive. The table next to us and every other table also seemed to be suffering from the same issues. Waiting almost 2 hours is a travesty in most places but when the food arrived it was also both small in portion and the chicken dish was rather disappointing. Very creamy and lacking in balance of flavours - essentially just very rich. The beef heart was a little better but also disappointing for the prices paid. It was clear that everyone was also feeling similar as people were barely finishing their food and then getting up to leave right away. When the waiter came to take our food away he did not ask about if we had enjoyed the food despite half of my partner's plate still being full. The ambience is nice and the food is clearly being made fresh but given the poor service, average quality and larger prices this made for a rather disappointing meal. Unfortunately this was us on holiday so we won't be returning but in case anyone else plans a meal here please be advised by the remarks here.

Excellent Peruvian good quality food, good presentation, kind attention, easy to book a table, you can pay with card, you can either eat out at the terrace or inside. Price: just a bit over the normal standards for this type of food, the quality of food and presentation makes you feel it worth it. Not too generous portions, but ok-ish. We ate 2 starters to share and a main dish and we were satisfied at the end. Again very well recommended.

The experience was disappointing. Just a very pretentious place. If you have ever been in a Peruvian restaurant in Perú or South America, you’ll know it’s not good.

One of the best restaurants in Cologne. A great mix of a modern restaurant with traditionaI cuisine. I should enjoy Flor y Canela more regular because whenever there, I'm impressed how delicious their food is. You also find a great selection of drinks, amazing desserts and the team is super friendly. So this restaurant comes with everything you need to have a good time. Only it can be a bit noisy when all tables are full with guests. Nevertheless it's worth to take a reservation and try it your own.

Great food and atmosphere!! Pisco Sour could have been better.

Ridiculously small choice of meals and when you finally get it, you will stay hungry for sure. The only thing that is good with this restaurant is that later you can go to McDonald's, since your pork will be dry and you will be happy that you got a tiny portion.

Extremely delicious food, definitely one of the best spots in Cologne. I’ve had an appetizer with the softest octopus, salmon and shrimp which was very tasty. As my main I had the chicken dish with rice which was also very delicious and soft. At the end I’ve had a great Creme brûlée! I’ll definitely come back and will recommend it to friends. See you soon!💖

Delicious and lovely presented peruvian and peruvian-fusion dishes, nouvelle cousine style. The ceviche was fantastic, and my other favorite was the rocoto relleno. The arroz de pescado was also nice but not so outstanding.

Great ceviche and good service. The aji de gallina and anticucho where also really delicious. I would not recommended de Argentinian steak as it was schewy and much less tasty than the other dishes. Neg point: I found drinks too expensive for Germany.

Excellent, traditional Peruvian cuisine, wonderful presentation. Together with the quick, attentive service and the pleasant decoration, a real highlight. Thank you!

I find it rare these days that a restaurant achieves that right balance between attentive service, but also leaving you alone to enjoy your meal and company. I have been a few times to Flor y Canela and they nail the atmosphere, service and food each time!

The restaurant may not look very attractive from the outside but the food is top class. We started with a Pisco Sour, then we took the Ceviche, the Lomo Salado, and the bitter chocolate with rhum. It was faultless in my opinion. Will definitely come back!

Very nice fish main course, the source is so far the best fish source I tasted! They have two shifts, be on time and I will definitely come back for dessert I missed! 😃Give more thoughts and choices on starter and side dishes will be a big plus!

Very nice restaurant. Great food and drinks. Drinks sometime take a little long hence 4 stars.

Food tasted great. Some items are overpriced like de yucas side and the creme brulee. The portion of rice that came with the aji de gallina and with the lomo saltado was small. The service needs also some improvement. We got the water and beer after 30 Minutes!

Very good food with friendly staff. Best lomo saltado in Köln! Black cusqueña was missing. Good experience, I recommend it.
