Visited this lovely little restaurant at 4pm on a Friday and we had the restaurant all to ourselves. The staff was extremely friendly and the food came quickly. I had never had Uzbeki food and I have to say it is extremely tasty and full of flavour. The portions are also very large and we left stuffed! I will definitely be back!

Excellent food. Very cheap for what you get. The portions were all larger than we expected, so plan accordingly. I went here with a Kazakhstani friend who was very surprised and impressed. I guess horse and lamb would have been more authentic than beef, but it was still delicious. There are also potato and pumpkin options for vegetarians.

Silk Road offers an enchanting culinary journey through Central Asian particularly Tajik cuisine. From the moment you step in, the ambiance immerses you in the rich cultural tapestry of the Silk Road. The menu is a gastronomic adventure, featuring a symphony of flavors that reflect the region's diverse culinary heritage. The appetizers, such as the savory Samsa pastries and the refreshing Mastoba salad, provide a tantalizing introduction to the feast that follows. The mains are a celebration of spices and skillful preparation, with dishes like Plov, a fragrant rice pilaf layered with succulent meats and aromatic herbs, showcasing the chef's mastery. The Tajik Plov is a standout, marrying tender meat with sweet raisins and carrots, creating a delightful interplay of tastes. Each bite is a reminder of the historical trade routes that influenced the region's cuisine, blending influences from Persia, India, and beyond. Vegetarians are not forgotten, with options like the flavorful Lentil Soup and the hearty Mantu dumplings filled with leeks and herbs. The attentive staff is more than happy to guide you through the menu, ensuring a personalized and delightful dining experience. To complement the meal, Silk Road offers a carefully curated selection of teas, enhancing the overall sensory experience. The restaurant's commitment to authenticity extends to its warm hospitality and attention to detail in every aspect of service. Silk Road is not just a restaurant; it's a cultural odyssey that transports diners to the heart of Central Asia. Whether you're a culinary explorer or someone seeking familiar flavors with a unique twist, Silk Road promises a memorable dining adventure that transcends borders. It was my second visit this year from Canada and hopefully many more to come.

Superb food and can only agree upon all the good reviews. It's obvious the guys running the restaurant opened it recently and still have to gain their footing but it is truly a great spot in Cologne to eat. Highly recommend it.

Very delicious traditional food, reminds me of home, tea was really good as well, large portions, relaxing atmosphere, good service, thank you for positive emotions!

It could be better if the meat in the meals were charred, grilled or braised instead of deep frying. Otherwise, everything else is very good and tasty. The salad with vermicelli is very well done. Full pot of hot tea served with the meal felt so good while it was snowing outside.

One of the few Central Asian restaurants in Germany. The place feels authentic, I felt being in my home country, in Kazakhstan. The food was really delicious but not really authentic, probably because of the local products (Russian salad was the same like at home but Central Asian food tasted different). Stuff speaks Russian. Restroom was clean and comfortable. The prices are not high, at least for Germany. It's a great place for Central Asians to recall the taste of their homeland food and for other nations to discover something new.

Our first time trying central Asian Cousine and it was delicious! Super tasty and big servings. Also absolutely reasonably priced! When we come back to cologne we will definitely visit again. Thank you!

Good and authentic food for a reasonable price. The main dish was quite nice but small and without meat.

The best way to travel is with one taste buds. This place takes you to central Asia. Lagman like in Bukhara, Plov like in Samarkand and so it goes. I must have looked ridiculous trying to swallow all of the Manti from my son's plate... I said it before and I shall say it again central Asian food is just the best and here one can sample it in the purest form. Delicious!
