Really nice restaurant. We were looking for a nice place to end a business meeting, not expensive but also not too simple. And Fährhaus was a great choice. Nice old building, really friendly waiter and great food. Lot's of choices. View must be nice but it was dark. We'll come back.

A very pleasant surprise and worth the effort to visit this resturant, staff were fantastic food was excellent and the view of the river was a complement to this evening meal.

Very nice atmosphere on the Terrace along the river, all Dished were good. Rabbit was great. tasty desserts. and attentive service.

Perfectly nice place until they forgot one of the meals. Arrived at least 15 mins late but was cold and raw in the middle. Sent back and waiting ages again by which time everyone else had finished. When we suggested that the meal should come off the bill, the head waitress came over and we had to argue the point and pretty much refuse to pay for it. Honestly, there was 9 of us, so it was a small portion of the overall bill. No need for that kind of behaviour.

Nice location overlooking the Rhine. Had the lamb chops, nice and simple presentation, very tasty. Good and efficient service. Definitely recomend if you're in Rodenkirchen area.

Delicious starters. They cooked a vegetarian main on request for me. Friendly staff. They speak in english and italian as well.

The restaurant has a very good location and is directly accessible from the promenade. The views from the terrace are really nice. The menu seemed to be fine dining and they had a decent enough wine selection. Why the three stars then? Well the restaurant needs an upgrade at all levels. It seems more like a family run restaurant somewhere in the provinces without any of the warmth you would expect from such a place. The prices were most certainly of fine-dining without the food being that level. We shared dishes and still paid 60€ per person for an experience that wasn’t up to par. They also got our wine wrong! My Feta-beetroot-walnut salad was missing the walnuts!!! The staff was a bit indifferent and the service lacklustre. The cook had potential because sone of the dishes had a good base. But they were not well rounded off and all dishes were missing an important element or flavour to justify the pricing. For the same price i can eat much better elsewhere. I doubt I’ll return here. I’ll add Fotos later.

Food was good and view was nice although i hated the smoke from ships passing by the river ㅡ the staffs were kinda indifferent but responded to what i needed and gave me a good seat.

Unbelievable rude staff :/ For the first time in Germany I had a xenophobic experience, a friend of mine and I sat down for food , at first all tables by the window were free , as she heard our accent she said “table there are reserved” When a German couple of ladies arrived she treated them differently and they sat wherever they wished for. So … not really nice place , OVER PRICED , the black hair lady were surely uncomfortable with our presence for (xenophobic behavior). Sadly
