I have never experienced such bad service. The waiters are so rude. After waiting 20-25 minutes to order another drink, the waiters simply would not recognise us, but rather clear up all the tables (around 20:00, and not at all busy) i walked up to one of the waiters to try and order 3 drinks and his answer was " i have to order with the other waiter as we were not sat on his side of the room" i explained we had already waited 20- 25 minutes, just for some soft drinks and there were only 4 other tables in the room with us. I didnt see the problem. "Our" waiter finally came up to ask and took our order. When i told him how i felt and how the service is not interested in their customers, i was told "if you dont like it, leave" Management should be ashamed of the way the waiters provide customer service. From reading previous reviews , alot of people have had the same problem. Time to act Haus am See Pros - lovely lovely location. Cons- Very bad Service, slow service, arrogant waiters, outdated.

Never felt so unwelcome in Germany. They get two stars because the beer was cold as it should be.

overall a nice place to chat and the food is absolutely great BUT there are no guides or info on where you should sit or which tables are reserved (they all have reserved tags on them but they're free). there are also segregated areas (aren't we living in the 21st century?🤣) where there is no service available and you have to go ask around for a waiter to come around. when you first get there, nobody tells you where these different areas are. so don't be surprised if you don't get a straight forward guidance from the employees there.

Always pleasant!!! Service is perfect and we always enjoy our coffee and cake every time we visit!!! We highly recommend the place for all of you to visit... either for a cake, coffee, drink or a meal, this place is top!!!!!

Old school German cuisine in a wonderful location. Service was very attentive and prices were reasonable. Recommended.
