In
January
we
ordered
skirting
boards
for
our
kitchen,
which
we
bought
years
ago
at
another
Roller
market
and
we
were
extremely
satisfied
with
their
delivery.
On
site
we
were
informed
of
a
delivery
time
of
approx.
6
weeks,
which
was
also
described
in
the
purchase
contract.
We
were
informed
that
someone
would
contact
us
the
week
after
the
purchase
to
arrange
the
desired
delivery
date.
When
after
6
weeks
there
had
been
no
contact
from
Roller,
I
contacted
the
market
by
phone.
I
was
told
the
goods
were
already
with
the
shipping
company
and
they
would
contact
me
as
soon
as
possible.
When
nothing
happened
for
another
4
weeks,
we
contacted
the
market
in
writing.
We
were
given
possible
delivery
dates
(all
only
on
Fridays,
which
was
never
mentioned
when
we
purchased).
When
we
then
wanted
to
determine
an
approximate
delivery
time,
they
simply
pointed
out
that
only
full-day
appointments
were
offered.
When
the
goods
finally
arrived
at
the
end
of
April,
the
strips
were
broken
in
the
middle.
Exactly
under
the
break
point
an
undamaged
board
was
inserted
as
reinforcement
and
exactly
above
the
break
point
the
foil
was
inexplicably
wrapped
much
more
tightly.
The
break
point
was
wrapped
with
adhesive
tape.
Furthermore,
there
were
areas
on
the
side
bases
that
had
broken
out
and
were
covered
by
edge
protection.
The
side
bases
were
not
delivered
in
the
dimensions
ordered.
When
we
noticed
this,
we
immediately
complained
about
the
goods.
We
were
then
told
that
the
dimensions
ordered
in
the
purchase
contract
were
not
possible
at
the
factory
(why
are
there
dimensions
on
the
purchase
contract
at
all
if
you
send
it
the
way
it
suits
you
anyway?!).
After
consulting
with
the
consumer
advice
center,
we
then
specified
a
deadline
for
correcting
the
defect,
which
was
longer
than
the
deadline
currently
set
by
the
courts.
When
no
one
got
in
touch
by
this
date,
we
wanted
our
money
back,
which
is
legally
our
claim.
The
market
has
so
far
refused
to
do
this.
I
would
also
like
to
note
that
all
correspondence
took
place
with
a
Mr.
G.
He
was
never
friendly
or
accommodating,
but
instead
used
the
way
he
conducted
the
conversation
to
escalate
the
matter.
