Most amazing bar, detail to decor is just stunning

One of the best bars I have ever been in Sri Lanka... loved the interior design so much .. Quite detailed!

Located next to the Ramada Hotel, Ask for Fern is a lovely upmarket lounge bar. Cocktails range from 1200 upwards with a variety of snacks such as Wontongs & Chicken Wings.

One of my absolute favorites for a night out in Colombo! Entry is at Chiller room and then you go upstairs and over to “Ask for Fern”. Danceable DJ Sets and great drinks.

Good place to hang out on a Friday night. Nice atmosphere with friendly staff. They have a good variety of beverages. Specially they have their own cocktails which are great. I had their Acchar Cocktail which had a spicy taste. The cocktails are reasonably priced too. The food is good too. But the spread is limited. They take some time to serve the food. But it is worth the wait as the food is mouth watering. They have a night club run by the same management just next door called Chiller Room. You can enjoy the night if you go there on a Friday night.

Great cocktails and spectacular food. The bulgogi beef sliders with coconut rotis were a hit and so were the wings. For cocktails; Mr.Miyagi was a cleverly named hit. But overall the most impressive was the attention to detail of the place; from the beautiful decor to the professional staff. It was delightful and chic. Highly recommend for a night out in Colombo.

A very chic venue with excellent service, Food, drinks and vibes. Colombo needs more places like this which is different from the usual resto-pub theme. Great service from, welcome to dining and even in the washroom. Restaurant and the lounge are separate which is great for anyone who wants to step a side from the live music and catch up. Very interesting menu reasonably priced. Cocktails do tend to be a bit sweeter however well done and served in interesting vessels. Overall a very classy place and hope it remains the same.

Funky spot. It's gone from more dining and lounge to being more night club. However, stopped in on a Tuesday night for dinner (quiet). Food was quite good. A very Singaporean style bistro menu. Nonetheless food was filling but comparable in price to say having dinner at a fancy Japanese restaurant for the same amount of people. This might have been because of the 1 round of cocktails we ordered - definitely some unique choices on the menu, quite easy to choose from.

Friendly enough staff, but didn’t have the ingredients for 4 of the basic classic cocktails on the menu. The whisky sour was a squeeze of lime and some local whisky. Disappointing after reading all the good reviews!

The best bar/nightclub in Colombo comparable to those of Europe. The ambience is great and the drinks are incredible. The prices are definitely reasonable considering you get a true cocktail something which many other bars in Colombo fail to meet. I would definitely go there again. Don't forget to try out the Mrs. Robinson cocktail. Loved it!

Celebrated NYE here and it was amazing, great service and fantastic atmosphere!
